I wasn't really sure where to put this, so I picked friendship, since it has to do with a friend.
Okay, so it's indirectly about my best friend. Her name is Lisa. But it's also about her boyfriend. His name is Tyler.
So, recently, Tyler told me that he's wanted to ask me out since he first came to our school in the middle of this year. (I'm a girl, in case you people didn't already figure that out.) I've always liked him, but I never let on. But now, he knows.
So, today, I stayed after school, because I didn't want to go home and clean my room. (It's a MESS.) Well, Tyler ALWAYS stays after school. For reasons unbeknownst to me. (I hope I spelled that right.)
Well, at first, we were just sitting at the picknick table, talking. About nothing, really. Then we got onto the subject of us liking eachother. Which quickly turned into flirting.
I had a metal... Thing, I have no idea what it was... in my hand. Well, Tyler took it. I tried to get it back, wich turned into us holding hands. Which turned into a kiss... Which turned into a make-out session...
Now, Lisa is my very best friend in the whole wide world, and I'd rather do ANYTHING than hurt her... But I think I just did.
We both knew it was wrong. And it was. Now I'm wondering what I should do. Please help me. :( (link)

That was wrong but at least you know it was wrong. I think you should tell your friend and just be honest. If Lisa is more important to you than Tyler then maybe you should just stop hanging around him. BUt you also have to think for Lisa, if your boyfriend is shallow enough to make out with your best friend then what kind of boyfriend is he really? This also applies to you. Just be honest, she'll be happier that you told her instead of keeping it from her and lying.

I'd dump him. No matter how gorgeous he may be if he likes you because of your looks and nothing else he obviously isn't worth wasting the time on. Anyways, a lot of times when you date younger boys they feel the need to try and be like boys your age and often want to rush it. Hope it works out for you!

My best friend smokes pot. She used to do it only once a month, but she has done it 2 times this week. It's because she has started to hang out with the potheads at school. Have you ever seen the Public Service announcements on MTV? You could write her a note and leave it somewhere she will find it. Or better yet just t alk to her. I know it's hard but say exactly what you feel. If my friend was smoking pot this is what I'd say. "Do you know what your doing to yourself? Listen your one of my best friends and I don't think I'm giong to be able to handle you doing something that could take you away from me. And I know it's not just me. If you died think about how your parents, (other friends) lifes would be ruined. I know you may say, "Oh I only do it sometimes" but the truth is its addicting and you and I both know that if you keep doing it you'll get hooked." Personally if my friend was doing pot I'd try to get them to stop and then I'd just not be their friend anymore. I don't want to be around pot heads and you should have to be.

Well if it's going to hurt the first time then there really isn't much you can do about that. The real question is do you want to have sex with him? If thats the only thing you are nervous about and you really love him then I would give it some thought and maybe do it. Remember to have pride in your decisions though because if you say you don't want to have sex there isn't any shame in it. A girl has a right to say no and protest herself.

OK. Don't ask her out online because that is tacky and it is showing that you are too embaresed to ask her face to face or on the phone. If you don't want to ask her out in person call her on like wednesday afternoon/evening and ask her out. If you want to do it in person ask her afterschool on wednesday or thursday. Don't do it during recess or anything because it will be uncomfortable if you are in the same next class or it will look pathetic if you are in different classes. Hope it all works out!

Personally I don't think its worth the friendship. If you have already told her to stop and she hasn't then something is obviously not getting through her head. I would lay off the friendship for awhile and see what happens. It doesn't sound like its that uch of a loss because it sound like you have a lot of good friends already.

Be honest with her, go up to her and ask her if there was something you said or did that could have upset her. Also, think about anything you could have done that might have made her mad at you. I think you hould really think which is more important to you; his friendship or having him for more than a friend. If you chose friendship just keep going on being the Alexa that he loves and if you chose more than a friend than there are risks you are going to have to take. Tell him that if you do break up you still want to be friends. I broke up with 2 boys and we are still friends. Hope I was of some help!

Yeah, so I don't usually ask questions, but I'm curious as to what you all think I should do.
I've been thinking about, er...going all the way with my boyfriend. I'm sixteen. He's seventeen, turning eighteen in late May. I know I'm young, but...eh. He hasn't been pressuring me at all, so that's not an issue. He loves me, I love him, we're planning, if all goes well, to live together when we graduate. I trust him and everything, but I'm concerned about the risks involved. I could get pregnant...I'm not worried about STDs because no one in either of our families has ever had one. Oh, and we're both virgins, in case you couldn't tell...Lol. I'm also just thinking...my mom has always told me "if you ever want to become sexually active, you should come to me so we can get you birth control. I wouldn't be happy with you, but I'd get you protection. If you ever got pregnant, I'd make you have an abortion." I can't imagine actually talking to her about it. It would be so horridly awkward, and she'd be so unhappy with me...My mom and I are fairly close. I'm also not sure if I'm ready. I mean, we've come close a few times, and I sorta panicked. Well if you feel comfortable having sex and your boyfriend does too then your mom shouldn't have a say in it. I know this isn't what you were asking but I personally think you should wait until you are older. Your pretty young now and you don't want to ruin your life if an accident does happen.
If you do choose to have sex with him then you don't need your moms help with birth control and things and can do that on your own. Be responsible though.

My son is in 4th grade and was just suspended for being reported for what he said to a girl but denied it and he keep saying he didn't say to 4 teachers & then told me a story that I really thought was the truth because My son would never open his mouth to say that. I was going to see why he was the only one since I felt they made it up. I was asking him all the names on the way to his school then he said not to tell on his friends made me think why not so I told him if he said anything to her at all better say it now,before I look stupid in there and then he said yes he said it I couldn't believe this was my son that the next day still have not punished him. What should I do when I'm hurt & angry I can't even look at him because I want to just get the belt out and bet his ass.(sorry)but I know I would really hurt him so I need advice on teaching what he did was wrong and help teach him how to respect adults?
