How old is he? If he's like, an adult, and you dropped in for a visit, give him some food or money for pete's sake!! Then help him find a job, so he can feed himself.
If he's younger/living with you, seek help on what's going on.

in this case honestly i would try everything i could to get money for my child. the first thing i would do is pray, the second is ask someone to loan me some money, then i would try to find a job...go to the temp agency or something, and after i have tried every possible solution i would do whatever i need to do to provide for my family. but at the same time i wouldnt give up on finding a job.
