Hi my name is Lee Ann. I am 29 years old and Graduated from Bethany college obtaining a bachelors of music. I am a happily married woman with two kids, ages3 and 2. I currently have six books out on the market, all of which can be found on amazon. The first is called The Leaf: One fallen heart and a burning desire, my second is called Avengement of Glory, my third is called Spiral of Enlightenment, fourth one is called Prodigy of the Immortal, fifth one is called Augment in the Realm of Darkness, and my sixth novel is called Bond in the Spiritual Heart. I started this advice column to see if I could give good advice. Turns out I am pretty good, better than I thought actually. I enjoy seeing people smile when I give them good advice and they use it. It makes me feel better as a person to help people. I want to make the world a better place and I think that starting an advice column is the right way to begin. Writing is a huge part of my life, without it, I wouldn't be able to function properly. After seven years, I think I have done pretty well as an advice columnist.

Ok, well... my best friend is a guy, and his name is Chris. He's really awesome, and we're really close. I've always thought of him as a brother to me. But lately everyone has been asking me, "Are you two going out?" and "Do you like him?" and everytime my answer is "no." but lately I've been thinking, and I feel weird whenever I talk to him now. Whenever he comforts me about stuff, I just feel... really really happy. Rediculously happy. Almost..fuzzy inside? I don't know, but I keep thinking that I'm starting to have feelings for him. But we're just friends.. friend's arent supposed to crush on eachother. But I can't help myself.

SO MY QUESTION IS: Am I in love with him? and if I do why do I feel so uncomfortable?

Yes when you have feelings like that you are falling in love. A person that you can trust about anything is someone you should be with. You are so uncomfortable because you feel that you should stay friends. You believe that friends shouldnt date but some people who are friends are the happiest couples around. I think that you like him you are just afraid of what might happen if you admit it out loud. Dont let him get away. He might not always be there so you should get him now.

Well I have a new boyfriend and my best friend is acting really weird like she’s saying that I am a leaving her for him but I m not!! What the hell is her problem? Why is she saying this I mean he’s a new boyfriend and its that honeymoon stage where your excited aand she doesn’t understand and I hate the way she’s acting like today in the library I she wanted me to go to her class for 10 min. and I was with my boyfriend and I said no because that’s stupid why would I go to her class when she’s acting like this? Im really getting annoyed with her. Please help!!

I think that she is worried that if you spend all your time with your boyfriend then you will forget about her. I think her getting mad is her way of reminding you that she is still your friend whether you have a boyfriend. maybe she is protective of you and doesnt want you to get hurt. Maybe you are her best friend and you are hanging out with your boyfriend then who is she going to talk to. I just think that she is used to not having as much attention and she is acting that way to get it back. If you are patient and in a little time it may get better

ok my parents are divorced and my dad lives in new york and my mom lives in ohio. well my dad invited me to live with him in 8th grade (because my mom was getting remarried and i hated the guy). so i moved in with him and my stepmom. Well, by christmas time she had kicked me out beacuse she didnt like me, so i had to live with my mom and stepdad. my dad LET HER kick me out like that. i lived with my mom and graduated high school with my fair share or fighting with ym stepdad. then my dad invited me back out to live with him to go to college. Well i moved in and my stepmom and i got along at first. then she started getting bitchy towards me. so i got a job. but that wasnt good enough for her! and i had put off college for a while so that i could aquire some money. well after 3 months she gave me a week to be out (of my dads house). well i had no where to go, so my dad said he would give my freind half of hte bills for a few months so i could get a job and pay it myself. well, time for him to pay came around and he made up a story and didnt send me the money. so my freind almost kicked me out until my mom made him pay. well basically what i am trying to say is my dad is a lying jerk and it hurts alot because i am a daddys girl. he is always telling my mom (via email) that i am a freeloader and i am a bum and i am lazy, and then tell me that he loves me! But he hasnt emailed me or called me since my stepmom kicked me out. what am i supposed to do to deal with this or anyhting i could do to feel better about what has happened?

Right away this is not your fault. I know what its like to have a dad for a jerk and not liking your step-dad. You shouldnt have to please your step-mother and she is just probably jealous of you and the way for her to get that out of her system she has to make you miserable. If you try to not care that will bother her so much. The next time your dad asks you to move in with him you should tell him no. The best thing is to get college out of the way that way you can just take care of yourself instead of them. Sounds like you are not even lazy at all. If you dont have money for college then you should just live with your mother. I know that you dont like your step-dad but that is much better than being treated badly by your dad and step-mom. They are going to regret not keeping you and that is something that should always bring a smile. Your life is about you and not them. You choose what and wen you want to d something.

ok when your in i fight with someone and they say your over...is that liike another way of saying "your done" as in im gonna fight you??or does it mean something else??

Sometimes it could mean that they are going to beat you up but someitmes it means that they are going to humiliate you. This girl said that to me and she justwas hanving a bad day and she apologized and another girl said that and she meant she was going to bury me in the football field. I only told her to move over a step during band practice because i thought she was to close to me. I think tha your right about what it means but it could be different things depending on the situation.

Well I like my bff (im m/14 my bestfriend is also m/14) and well he's unfourtunealtley strait, well i want to be able to go out with him. But i odn't want ppl knowing i'm Bi, anyways I found a way to get him to like me... well my friend used to do wicca stuff(spells) and she's finding me a love spell. I think that you shouldnt. If she uses this spell then its her making him be in love with you. In way thats not as real as the real thing. It probably would work and stuff but could you live with yourself knowing that it isnt real? Just some spell that was cast. I am ot trying to be mean or anything. I think that you could probably get him to fall in love with you without the potion. It may take longer but at least it would be the real thing. Maybe you should invite him to the movies or something. At least you would be spending more time with him and starting the process of a relationship. If you use it to wouldnt that mean you are taking away his free will?

ok when i answer some peoples questions i answer them to the best of my abilities, but they end up rating me really bad because i say one bad thing liek these recent ones i put bf for boyfriend and she rated me a two and said that i should spell everything out next time and i will get a higher rating and another one i answered and just becuase i said what ever floats your boat they said its not about them and they rated me bad

I think that you should read each problem slowly and carefully. If it is a situation problem then you should put yourself in their position and decide what you would do to make the problem go away. When I pretend like it is my roblem it helps me understand what the person is going through no matter how big the problem is. If you understand what the person is going through and carefully find a solution and type it. This should help your ratings. I dont think the ratings matter it is what your doing that counts and i think that you are doing a good job.

hey umm this guy that i liked like last year but i didnt tell anyone but past 2 weeks now he was always flirting with me and holding my hand and having me stand him or sit by him so he can hold me and he always came down to me house and everytime he would leave he would give me a hug and kiss me but like on tuesday his ex~gf sent him a text message and was like i broke up with my bf and he sent her but saying now we can go out... but he came down last nite and he wouldnt even tocuh me or like even barely talk to me... i dont know if he only messed around with me cause the gurl he liked had a bf or what so what should i do because i am like really sad cause i was just starting to really like him... and i dont know what to do i just feel like crying cause of it...and like so confused cause i thought he really liked me so plez help me

I know that you feel like you dont know what you should do now. I have been in the same situation as you. You shouldnt feel sad. If he is acting that way then he doesnt deserve you and i think that you can find better for sure. Maybe he is as confused as you. If he decides to go out with his ex i dont think it will last because they broke up the first time for a reason and they dont go away. The problems that were there before will still be there. If you are patient and wait things will work out for the best. While your waiting you should find someone that you like besides him. I dont think that you should le him do anything to you bc thats not right that means he is using you for his own personal pleasure.

I think that you should give a shot. Just b/c it didnt work out for them doesnt mean it wont work out for you. He seems really nice and so do you so you should go for it. You dont want to think back on your life and wonder what would have happened if i would have asked him out

I think you did the right thing. You shouldn't say "I love you" until you really feel that way. The best thing to do is explain to him your not ready to say something like that until you really feel comfortable about it. I think that love is a word that takes time to develop for at elast most people. If you dont think you love him just eyt then you shouldnt say it.

ok, i am an 18 year old female and my boyfreind is 22 years old. we live a ways apart (him new york me ohio) because i was forced to move. well, we have been living apart for about a month and a half and we can't take it anymore. but we can't decide wether we should have me move up there with him or have him move down here with me. at first we had sorta planned me going and living with him. but then my mom found out that she might have a tumor on her ovaries, tubes, or liver. She doesnt want me to leave because she needs me and my brother will too. (in situations where there is trouble, my brother looks up to me, if im doing ok he will be fine and he knows that). So my mom asked me to ask him to move here so that we coudl both support her and each other. (my mom likes him) but then i owuld be asking him to uproot his life. from the place he lived for 20 years. from his family and his freinds and everything he knows. so i asked him if he would be WILLING to do so. He told me "Whatever i have to do to be with you". Yes i believe you did the right thing. My grandma had brain tumors and my mom went every week to go take care of her even though we e=were 4 hrs. apart. My mom says that taking care of your mother at her last moment is the best memory you could ever happen. If went and moved with him you would look back and regret it. His family does not have the serious illness. I know that you may think that you are being selfish but sometimes in these kinds of situations you have to be a little selfish and i am starting to understand that now.

ok well I stay fit and when ever I date someone they are just after my body!! if really bugs me and if they ask how I stay fit I tell them that I kickbox and the make jokes like WOW YOU CAN KICK SOME ONE AROUND IF THEY MAKE YA MAD HUH? I am muscular and people make jokes like that to. Guys are afraid and we intimidate them. Guys who make those kind of jokes are idiots and think they know everything so they hae to show off in order to keep their pride. Some guys cant handle that girls can protect themselves. Since they can guys have to make fun of what they do in order to make themselves feel better. At least that is my theory lol.

Ok, so I have a friend, Trevor. He's everything that anyone would want in a guy.. Curly blonde hair, big blue eyes, a 6 pack, smart as poindexter, nice, funny, and he plays any sport under the sun: Tennis, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Cross Country, and Surfing. I used to have a crush on him a couple months ago, and he had a crush on me, too, but at the time he had a girlfriend. Then about a month later it seemed as though our feelings for eachother totally went away. Then one day we were talking on the internet, and he recently found out that I asked out a person from our tennis team, Marshall. He asked me, "Are you going out with Marshall?" and I go, "No, but I asked him out" and he totally freaked out about it and seemed mad at me because I did it..

But my question for you is: Does he still like me? Does he still have feelings for me? When we talk to eachother its normal - we're friends. But when I have a crush on someone, its a whole different story.

He seems as though he is jealous if that not that then he is protective of you and your friendship. Most guys if they truly like someone they will hide it but protect you from anyone else. They also are to scared to get into a relationship where they know it will last. The best thing to do is to talk to him about and ask him why he is acting the way he is.

Ok I like this boy that I'm like best friends with. Well today online I was gonna tell him that I like him. I was in a chat with him and 2 other friends. I was aksing who i should like. I know what that is like. My friend Clara liek tis boy and he was y best friend well we agreed not to date him but she went behind my back and did it anyways. I think that you should wait and be patient b/c chances are your friend wontlike him b/c you like him. If he is rejected by one he will find another so he may come to you. If he leaves your friend alone about liking her then you should tell him you like him. If you tell him now chances are he is going to tell you he likes one of your friends. Dont worry it will all work out if your patient.

Ok well there's this guy at my skool who acts like a total retard...like all the time..he's mature looking but he acts immature. I think that you like him because he makes you laugh and want to see him again but when he acts retarded then that makes you question it. The reason he acts that way is because he really likes you. I think it is his way of hinting it to you. This is the only way he knows how to flirt i guess. I think you like being around him b/c you never get bored and a guy that does that is a keeper. You dont want someone who bores you to death trust me they are boring. Maybe you should have one of you friends find out if he likes you or not.

18f I recently met a guy online. We have been talking through friendster. He makes me laguh and I amke him laugh. He has mentioned in passing that if he had known me im person he would ask me out. I think that he is really interested in you. I know it hard to tell especially online but most people dont said stuff like that unless they really mean. It wouldnt hurt to say the same tign. I know what you mean. You really cant picture yourself doing anything with him. I have been there plenty of times. The only thing you can do without hurting his feelings is just tell him that your friendship is more important to you than dating. If you tell him that you would rather keep the friendship b/c if you dated and broke up you wouldnt be friends anymore. Or if you want just tell him that you like someone else but someone will like him. Nothing is really wrong with you. You just prefer that people have his personality but with hottness included. I know that it is hard to tell someone this but if you dont you will just be miserable and i dont think you want to be.

there are alot of things to choose from. If you go to google.com or askjeeves.com and type in what you want then it should pull some sites where you can look at some songs that you like. Or the type that you like you know easy or hard.

anywayz i hate my hair its always frizzy. i wanna straighten it but its still gets frizzy. does anyone know a way for me to get rid of this frizzy hair without my hair looking nasty and feeling hard like hair spray. thanks!!!

I know how you feel. I have had frizzy hair too until i started using herbal essences shampoo. Then i blow-dry my hair by blow drying it in sections. First i would put it in a half-ponytail and blowdry it. After it is dry i pull more wt hair down from each side then i blow-dry it until it is dry. Then i pull the rest and blowdry it. When you straighten it you use the same procedure as the blow-drying. That way your layers are being straighten also. Dont use hair spray to keep it straight that actually makes it worse. When you straighten it you want to wait until it gets retty hot. when you get each starnd you should go very slowly that takes most of the frizz out if you go slow. Take pretty small stands at least just not to big.
