I need help telling my mom that sometimes i am abused by my father for the stupidest reasons when she is at work. About a month ago I got out of a five month relationship and it didnt end on very good terms. i just started high school this year, and its so hard for me, mainly because its so different from what I'm used to with junior high. all of my friends have adjusted and seem to go with the flow, but i just cant. I'm up till midnight every night doing homework, i have tests and reports every week, and i feel like i have no control over my life anymore. i cant figure out how to manage my time, because i get home from school from 4-4:30 everyday [i live pretty far away from my school]. Yes it takes some time to get used to.
Just try to finish your homework in another class or at lunch, or before class. That's what some people did.
And if it's too much for you.. just study tests and work on big projects. Let little homework assignments go by.
If you're having too much trouble, talk to a teacher or something.. ask for their advice. Tell them you live really far from school and how you have limited time to get things done. They may give you a few more days for assignments. You just really need ONE good teacher as a friend, you know?
Try having a study group with your friends, tell them you need help.. they could make it fun.
I didn't know how to handle this stress when I got into high school and I just.. let it go. So don't do that, just keep trying. Sooner or later, it will become easier and it won't take up much time.
You need to multi-task. Get out a few books, get out those papers.. and maybe have a snack nearby.
It may seem hard to do, but it won't be anymore. If the class is too hard for you, drop it and go to another class.

i got my first period 1 week ago! it is still going on, and its not getting lighter. i've had it for 7 days and it feels like its not going away.
also, today i had horrible cramps, i had to come home from school i couldnt sit still i felt like i was going to die. my mom took me to the doctors, he sent my to CVS and he told me all of the medicine/pain relievers to use and now my cramps are gone. im NOT worried about cramps.
also today i threw up 3 times. the doctor checked me and i didnt have a fever my ears were fine i didnt have a cold, i was perfectly healthy so he doesnt know why i threw up. has anyone else ever threw up while on there period? is it normal?
basically my questions are...
1. is it normal to throw up while your on your period?
2. and since this was my first period, when i get my future periods will the cramps be not as bad?
3. and how long does the average menstural cycle go for each month? its been 7 days and it keeps getting heavier...

1. I'm not sure. But if your doctors say you're healthly, then don't worry much about it.
2. Cramps are different for everyone. For me, the first time I got them.. I could NOT bend over because it hurt like hell. Other times, it didnt hurt as bad since I went through it before.. but you will know you have cramps. You can take some medicine for it. Some other times, you won't get it.
3. Your first time, it's going to be heavy.
It's usually to 9 days to 14. Some women are different and it's just A WEEK. Some are lucky and only have it for 3 to 4 days. You're going to be irregular for a couple of months, so you won't be sure about it.
4. There's Midol for cramps.
You can have a heating pad, pressed against your abdomen.

If you leave in your shampoo for about half an hour... It would take some color away. But obviously, you'll have to do that a couple of times to see a difference.
