Once you color your hair, there is no way to get it out.. but if your hair is too dark and you want it to be a little lighter (after waiting a week) go to a drugstore, and pick up i believe is revlon or loreal highlite effect or lowlites effects (you want the highlite obviously) just put some streaks in with the little brush they give you. it doesn't bleach out your hair and make it dry. it knocks the shade down a notch or two, but will make your hair look not as dark. best part is the stuff colors over any boxed color you used! good luck!

if your natural hair color is a lighter color, then the dye will fade quickly if you wash it often. but if your hair is closer to the color you dyed it, meaning a darker shade it will take longer to fade just by washing it. there's really nothing you could do without damaging it to lighten it, or make it fade. trust me, i've been there. so basically, just wash it thourouly VERY often. like, morning and night if you're really that desprite. it WILL end up fading if you continue this. and, also, it's going to fade no matter what after a while because it's not your natural color. so just sit tight for a bit and it should be better soon. =D

Just wash your hair a whole lot with a gentle shampoo. And don't use one that protects color (obviously).

After about a month, you can dye over it. YOu could also try a shampoo for blonde or light brunette hair.. those could subtly change the color of your hair too.

Lemon juice rinses lighten hair, but it might damage your hair if you use it too soon after dyeing.. so dont use it right away.

If you leave in your shampoo for about half an hour... It would take some color away. But obviously, you'll have to do that a couple of times to see a difference.

Just wait a few weeks.
There's other ways to get it out but it will damage your hair.

So just leaving in the shampoo will help.
