In Internet Explorer, go to:

Click "express update". After it is done updating, restart windows, and then *go back to that site and click express update again*. You will need to continue doing that until it says that there are no more updates.
It is important that you update this way instead of downloading it separately as with the link below. If you just get the separate version, you will be skipping important security updates. You will be at a much greater risk of viruses.

Absolutely not. Extended use of antibiotics is very bad. It will actually strengthen the bacteria that survives it. Sinus problems are rarely caused by bacteria anyway, they are almost always caused by viruses(which antibiotics have no effect on) or by overcompensation of the immune system.

So you've helped me before with the computer, and I was just wondering if you could help now. I'm not quite sure what my dad did, but he tends to mess the computer up when he uses it. Anyway, I tried to get on one day, and realized there was absolutely no sound.
I went to start, run, and then typed in mmsys.cpl to see what was wrong (the sound icon is still on my toolbar) and it said that there was no hardware for the sound, though my speakers are hooked up and have the little green lights, showing that they should work.
So now, if I'm on AIM or something, it only makes a little beeping sound, and the computer wont play any music (that's my biggest issue with this)

how does this work? i downloaded a torrent file and then it opens with lime wire is that how its supposed to work cause its not downloadind at all in limewire. how does it work? are u supposed to open it using something else?

Limewire does have a bittorrent client built in, but it's not very good. Try it with a different client, like Azureus or uTorrent (look at the above link).
If it still doesn't work, try this (in order):
-If you have a firewall running(even Windows Firewall), you will need to forward some ports. Contact me for help with this.
-If you have a tracker error, then the torrent might work eventually, but slowly.
-If there are 0 seeds and 0 peers, the torrent is dead. It will never work.
-If there are 0 seeds and less than 5 peers, the torrent is dead. It will probably never work.
-If there are 0 seeds and around 5-15 peers, you need to check the availability ratio. If it's under 1.0, the torrent is dead. It will probably never work. If it's over 1.0, then it will work. The higher the ratio, the faster it will work.
-If there is at least 1 seed, the torrent is alive and will eventually work. If that 1 seed leaves, however, read above.
-If there are at least 5 seeds and 5 peers, then you should be downloading at a nice speed. If you're not, then it's a firewall or router problem. Contact me.

Your discussion was created at the same time your account was, it's only a matter of finding it.
Go to your column and click the "ask a question" link. Now look at the URL. It'll look something like:

The number at the end is your user ID number. It's used for a number of things around the site. Even if your username is changed, your user ID remains the same.

I was trying to burn a wmv file and its 1.18 GB but i tried to burn it and it said my dvd had insufficent space. But my blank dvd had 4.6 GB free.
Any other DVD burning softwear i can try?

When you burn to a DVD, the file is converted to MPEG-4, which drastically increases the size of the data. You will not be able to put that file on the disk in that way. If you select the "data" mode on a DVD burner such as Infrarecorder, the file will not be converted to MPEG-4 before burning and it will fit. However, the disk will only play on computers, it will not play on DVD players.

He was successful because that was a unique idea that no one had ever done before. That site was covered in the news so much that advertisers had huge incentive to advertise there. You will never get even one person to advertise on a similar site because the idea is not novel and no one will ever visit sites.

I am not Christian, but an answer from Christians or non-christians will work. Why is it that many things in the bible tell you to do and believe things that in America are illegal and also seem VERY immoral and hateful. I thought we were supposed to love our neighbor as ourself? For instance; deuteronomy 21:18-21; it is saying basically to kill teen girls for no reason; and Exodus 35:2; it is saying that if you work on sabbath or sunday then you should be killed; also deuteronomy 22:13-21; it says that girls that are not virgins when they marry are to be killed, what about rape? and plus, just because someone makes a mistake they should be killed? I am so confused. I was once Christian but not anymore...

Christians are confused, too. I have never met a Christian who has actually read the bible. They take their minister on his word, and the minister only talks about the handful of good things the bible says.

17/f. I have had an awful year. And I thought the worst was over at the end of the year. (I don't feel like explaining it; it doesn't really have anything to do with this...well sort of but I don't have to explain.) Anyway...I cut myself. And I haven't for say about a week, but I really have been wanting to lately. It drives me crazy; I sit there and my entire mind is focused on that. It drives me crazy when I force myself not to cut. Just like right now. I really want to and it is really hard to just not give in. And I know I should probably talk to someone, but I have a really hard time opening up to people, especially those I don't know. However, there is this teacher that I have talked to before. So, if I told him, then maybe it would be easier to talk to a counselor, or he could help me or convince me to talk to someone or something. I know I can't do it on my own. I don't know what to do anymore. What should I do? And if I do end up talking to a counselor, they don't have to tell my parents, do they? It'll stay confidential?
Teachers and counselors are required by law to inform your parents of this kind of thing. They will also involve other government officials that deal specifically with these things. You will probably not enjoy the next few months of your life because of the stress the school and government will give you.
However, if you feel that you are in desperate need of help, you should talk to your counselor first and avoid the teacher. By telling the teacher first, you are putting enormous strain on him; he will have to fill out forms and alert a number of government officials.
The best option would be to talk to a professional psychologist. They, in contrast to school counselors, are bound by law *not* to reveal anything you tell them, unless it is immediately dangerous to someone other than yourself.

XviD(.avi,.mp4) is the best format for compression, and Mediacoder will convert to it. DivX(.avi) is also commonly used, and more people have the DivX codec, but Mediacoder will not convert to it. H.264(.mp4 usually) is the "new standard" video codec; it compresses nicely, though not as nice as XviD. Windows Media(.wmv), Theora(.ogv), and DV-video(.avi) are sometimes also used, but are not the best. Avoid all of the other codecs, as they are not optimal for compression.
A bit of trivia: H.264 will replace MPEG-4 part 2 video(the kind in common circulation now) within 3 years, and AAC will replace MP3 within 5.

That is correct. In most states(including Illinois) it's legal if a parent gives you alcohol and you are in a private residence(not necessarily your own).
It's not legal, however, for a restaurant of bar to sell you alcohol, even with a parent.

That is (deceptively) a picture of an actual Mac OSX desktop. You won't be able to get a task bar like that in Windows.
However, you can get a different style taskbar. What you need are called "visual styles".
First, download and run this uxtheme patcher:

This only works with Windows XP, Vista, and Server 2003. If you have a different version, you will not be able to use visual styles.
Next you need the visual style files. Deviantart is the best place to get them. If you have Windows XP, go here:

I was trying to do an overhaul on my computer & when I put in the installation disc it wants me to put in my product key. Well, obviously I threw it away...can't find it anywhere. It's usually on the back near the cables, on a sticker with a barcode. If you can't find it, you can use a keygen to generate a new one. Keygens are legally dubious, so I can't link to one here, but hopefully you'll be able to find one.
