Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.
I'd love to help you with whatever issues come your way. I've been in relationships where the guy was too old for me, the guy was my best friend, the guy just wanted to get some. I've been the other woman but I'm not proud of it. I've been the girl who waits years to be with the guy she wanted.
I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

The "ball" is her cervix, not the hymen. The bleeding is either your nails scratching the inside or you're tearing the hymen which is located right at the opening of the vagina. When a girl's hymen breaks its not always all at once, you could just slowly be stretching it causing the bleeding. Its fine as long as its not hurting her.

Okay so me and my boyfriends one year anniversary is coming up and i have NO idea what to do. We've never really given eachother anything for month anniversarys because well neither of us really have any money, and dont work. (were 17) but i really wanna do something special for him. I can get some money from my parents. hes my best friend, we've known eachother for years and i have never been happier with anybody else. His style is like fitted hats, baggy jeans and skater shoes, i dont know how to classify him. I've been trying to come up with an anniversary gift too. Its just 6 months but its our last one before college. My boyfriend is also in love with anything that has an engine and he just bought his dream car which is a mustang and I'm kind of artsy so I got a big canvas and I'm going to paint the mustang symbol and hopefully it'll come out good and then he can have it in his apartment for college. You can get him a model car kit if you know he'll take the time to put it together..nobody likes buying gifts and then seeing them sit on a shelf for months. I was going to surprise my boyfriend and take him to a classic car museaum but I couldn't find any close to me but you can look on google to see if there's any near you. Then there's the simple ideas of making dinner, rent movies, go out to a movie, maybe a picnic? It could even just be in your backyard. Or maybe a new hat. You could make a cd of his favorite songs. Don't be afraid to go over the top..one year is a long time.

This question made me laugh outloud a little. I think the answer before me is right, that they get embarassed because I have 2 kittens and they do the same thing. Just the other day I walked in on the littler one pooping and her eyes got all big..it was the same look you'd get if you walked in on your brother or something. My suggestion would be to maybe put the litter box in a more secluded space if its not already.

so last night my boyfriend of 7 months. would kiss me on the neck then pull away saying me or him would get in trouble if he left me a hickey. i was saying no i wont and quit teasing me, you keep kissing me on the neck then you pull away saying well get in trouble. and he started laughing then he acted like he was going to and he was like no your scared. so i kept saying he was the one that was scared. and he was like no im not wait til your 18 and ill give you one so they cant tell you anything. does that sound like hes just scared or what does that sound like to you? I personally don't like hickies on my neck or my boyfriends, I just don't want my bedroom activities posted on my neck for the world to see so my boyfriend started giving me them on my hips or lower ab area. Nobody sees it unless I'm in a bikini, and it rained most of the summer so we rarely went swimming. Its a decent solution if you want one or he wants to but don't want it to be seen. He doesn't sound scared he just honestly sounds like he's looking out for the two of you.

I don't think you get pregnant while you have your period what happens is sperm can live in you for a couple days so you would still continue on with your period but then after its over the remaining sperm can still get you pregnant.

I'm pretty sure its Drake. I'm listening to it now and the voice sounds the same..just at a different pitch. You can always look up the lyrics, if a certain part was sung by someone else then they'd tell you.

A little late but...
I'm surprised nobody said Pottery Barn, well PB Teen...all of their twin sets will fit twin XL and i think same goes for the comforters. I just got all my stuff from there.

I've basically been raised on Dells. I have never had a dell crash and the oldest one my family owns at the moment is close to 10 years old and still works perfectly. The prices are decent. Not sure how much my laptop cost because I got it as a present but I got an Inspiron, they're the ones you can see commercials for with all the different colors (mines pink btw..lol) and I absolutely love this thing and its really fast. I know people complained about Vista but I have it and really like it. Its convenient and it can do a lot. Dell has 10 in minis now too...also in the commercials with all the colors.

okay i pretty much have an hour glass shape. but id like to get the top part, the small part i think is 'the waist' smaller. its not fat but id like to slim down up there but keep the weight on my hips. what can i do for that ?

Crunches aren't fun but they work. I used to do two sets of 30 throughout the day (30 in the morning, 30 at night) also if you're standing and hold out your arms a little , keep your hips straight and just turn your upper body. If you feel like challenging yourself and get a more tiring work out you can lay on the floor and hold up your legs so they're parallel to the floor then do a crunch/twist so when you come up your right elbow touches your left knee and vice versa.

I have medium length lightly layered dark blond hair. It is frizzy and wavy, not like a pretty curly hair but just frizzy waves here and there that kind of resembles clown hair!
I have a CHI straightener, which is supposed to be a really good brand, and the other normal stuff, hair dryer, brush.
How can I get my hair to look sleek, non frizzy and straight? Sort of like tyra banks, or miranda cosgrove.

I use a spray from Aquage called Beyone Shine. It adds shine when you use flat irons. It's not like regular hairspray thats going to lock in a style its really light and misty and just adds shine. It doesn't hurt to use some sort of sleek and shine shampoo. I have hair similar to yours. After I straighten it I also use a humidity resistant hairspray so my hair stays straight during the day, especially if I'm outside.
forgot to mention that you can only get aquage products at a salon. and it cost me $15 but it lasts a long time.

my boyfriend and i have been going out for almost a year. we're both 15. recently he's told me that he likes other girls, but would never cheat. he says he only likes them based on looks and anytime he sees them, he always compares them to me in the back of his mind and they always lose. but when i found out about this, i was upset. i feel uncomfortable that he likes other girls besides for me. is that selfish? he loves me and i love him but i don't want other girls to be on his mind. it hurts...should i try to be ok with him liking other girls or should i break up with him? i mean, people can't help who they like, right? If you truly know that he won't cheat then its not a big problem but its a little inconsiderate. My boyfriend wouldn't dare to even look at a girl while we were out together and he would never ever in his right mind tell me if he thought a girl was attractive. I don't know if he's seen other girls that he was attracted to, I'm sure he has and I've seen guys that I thought were attractive too...its going to happen. Just tell your boyfriend that you don't appreciate hearing about the other girls even if he does like you better. Nobody wants to hear 'I love you but she's hot'

Hi. Im 16. i was confirmed in the catholic church this year, and they said that to be confirmed you have to want to be in the church and everything, but truthfully, like many others, i did it because of family.
I am a religious person, just, first of all i dont believe many things of the catholic church. secondly, i want to find a religious place that i can be in and feel like i belong. you have to understand that i cant really go anywhere yet (i cant drive, and my mom is catholic and so is my dad but he doesnt go to church), but even if i find a religion that i understand and believe in i will be happier.
I' dont believe in many things of the catholic church. i believe in god, tho im not even sure, cuz i've read about pagans and they believe in more than one and thats possible. i also dont know if i believe that jesus was the sone of god. there are so many people who belive he was, and so many that dont. there are also so many athiests. how do i know whos right?.. i've been to a jewish temple, because my aunts are jewish. i liked it, but im not sure if that is the religion for me.
what are some ways i can find a religion that is meant for me?

My family is not very religious at all. I've been to church about 5 times in my entire life. My mom wanted to raise me Christian and my dad has always said that I can choose a religion when I am old enough to understand it. I studied paganism and have really gotten into it. I like the idea of belonging to a religion but I don't like the ones who think that they are the only ones who could be right. Pagans have many beliefs, they believe in many gods, just one god, or no god. I believe in one but not the man in the sky. Its hard to explain. They have many of the same traditions as Christians..many Christmas and Easter rituals come from the pagans. The main thing that attracted me to the religion was their rede or the main phrase they live by which is 'And if it harm none, do as ye will'...pretty self explanitory. Basically live your life in peace. I'm not here to preach because I hate preachers but I was in the same boat as you, wanting a religion that you could believe in. Do a lot of research. I was reading online everynight for 2 months trying to find what was right for me.

So here's the thing. I just graduated high school.I'am only seventeen years old and I'am honestly fed up with my friends. Not to be mean,but i really have outgrown them.I just feel like I'am more mature then them and therefore I need mature friends.All of them "claim" that they are grown now because they are 18 and i just feel like thats bull.To me everybody's in a competion with one another.And I hate to say this but I feel like I dont have strong friends at all.One friend just cant let a boy she dated go.He cheated and he has TWO,yes..TWO kids.I mean,come on!! What will it take.I also have one friend who is so lazy and isnt committed to anything.They are very smart girls but for some odd reason I cant help but to think they have no back-bone.I'am a strong girl and i need strong people around me for support when i cant be.I feel like I'am forever Baby-sitting and i'am the youngest out the group.I forgot to mention that they are all bad influences.They are forever sprung off guys and that cant be good.They only bother with some dudes just to have sex with them and thats not my thing.But they never forget to make me feel like a baby because i dont have sex.My life means everything to me and i dont want to waste it being around negative people.I have hopes and dreams and very important goals and I just feel that they will slow down my purpose.Am I wrong for wanting to hang with a new crowd or Am I a sell out? I'm in the same boat. It sounds bad but I've pretty much ditched all of my high school friends minus one and my best friend who went to a different school. I'm also the youngest of my group but sometimes I just sat back and watched what they would talk about or do and be like 'wow..and you're going to college?". I went to my college orientation and lucky for me everyone in my major was pretty much like me, so I made friends easily there. I could see that some other students there were still in 'high school mode'. College is a great place to meet new friends that are more like you and more mature so don't worry about leaving them behind. You have to do whats best for you.

I have an Ipod, and in my car there is a cord/whatever that I can plug my Ipod into and then it will play from my car. Whenever I plug it in it automatically goes to one certain section in the playlists and if I unplug it then plug it back in, it goes directly to the same song it was playing before I unplugged it.. Is there anyway that, when I have my Ipod plugged in, that I can select what song I want to listen to? Without having to always press next next next with my car buttons to get to the number 43 song (or such)? I can't seem to use my ipod buttons to do anything when its plugged into my vehicle, Please help (link)

Thats odd. I have the opposite problem, my car will only control the volume when my ipod is plugged in not the next or back buttons so I always have to use my ipod if I want the next song. I would say just put it to the song you want and then plug it in? Maybe you have a screwed up wire. Was it built into the car or did you buy it separately? Unless its from Apple theres no real guarantee it'll work perfectly with ipods although most do.

Okay, so I'm a 14/F and I would love to make money. I work at the snack shack at a soccer field for AYSO on some Saturdays and only get paid $25 a weekend for about ten weekends. Sometimes i don't even get paid. I don't get paid for my chores, and when I ask my mom for money she only gives me about twenty dollars, which isn't enough to buy anything at the mall. I can make a lot of things like bracelets and things. I'm a very crafty person, so if you have any ideas on how I can make money, it would be very helpful! And i don't want to do anything illegal.

The fact is that you're 14 and you're not going to get a high paying job. I'm almost 18 and I still can only get jobs that are minimum wage and not many hours. The key is to save your money. If you worked every weekend at this snack shack and had your mom give you money once or twice during the month then you'd have $120-140 at the end of the month for clothes or whatever it is that you want to buy. I don't know many kids who get paid for chores, it's normally just expected of them so I wouldn't say you're missing out on that one. You're 14 so it's not like you have a car to put gas in or pay insurance for, its basically just your shopping trips that you want money for which is understandable. My best advice to you would be to get your working papers if you don't already have them and go out and get a job. It's not going to be the greatest job or most fun but it's money and you're going to have to do what you gotta do to get what you want. If your town has craft fairs then you can make some stuff for that but don't count on it as a source of income.

okay. so like a month ago, me and my best friend kind of got in a fight. me and her ex boyfriend were pretty good friends before they even started going out, but anyway..
my friends ex broke up with her and would call me every night talking about it - and id just listen, but in the process, i kinda started liking him. one night, he came out and told me that he liked me.. and i was like i like you too.. so he told my friend. she got shitty. and i tried not to hang out with him, but i did.. and regret it. i told her i was sorry and i know that i fucked up. but we're cool now. and i dont even talk to that guy anymore. it lasted like 2 days.
so now, my problem is that i like this other guy now. and she has been flirting with him like crazy! shes a flirty person, and it doesnt seem like shes doing it on purpose, but its making me mad. i dont wanna tell her because shell freak out and say its bullshit that i would think that about her. i like this guy alot, and i dont want her in the way - even though i kinda deserve it : (

I'd ask her in a casual way what kind of relationship she has with this guy. Like 'hey what's goin on with you and ___' if she says she likes him then obviously back off if she says she doesn't well then you can go for it but just remember that your best friend flirts with this guy weather she knows it or not so even if you got close and went out...your friend might still flirt with him because she 'doesn't know' she's doing it.

By Saturday it might only hurt if you bite something hard. Bring tylenol or whatever pain medication you use with you just in case. Potatoes are a good food for braces. You should be able to eat normal foods just be careful. I don't recommend you eating as steak..that would probably hurt right now.

and i have a picture uploaded into paint..and i croped a seperate picture..what i want to do is take the cropped picture and upload it ONTO the picture i have uploaded..so it's like..overlapping it kinda.

Alright correct me if I'm wrong and i'll fix my answer..you've got 2 separate pictures and you want to overlap one into the other..
Very easy. Save your cropped picture to your picture file or wherever you keep it then open up the other pic in paint. Go up to edit in the top menu bar and near the bottom of the pop down thing there will be an option that says 'paste from' click that..it will then open a browse box where you will go find your cropped picture and hit ok or insert or whatever it says.
And ta-da! That's how it works. I'm not at my own vista computer at the moment but I'm 99% sure its under edit.

Background:
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4 months now. i know that doesnt seem like a long time, but it's our third time together. He seems to always come back in my life. We dated for 4 months then broke up for about 3 and now we've been back together since.He said I love you about 2 weeks ago, and meant it. It's not those 3 words that get thrown around between us, it's sincere. We're going to college this upcoming fall. I leave in less than a month. I'm going 4 hours west from home he's going 3 hours north from home.
Question:
Should we stay together and try to make things work with the long distant relationship? I mean I'll barely see him because it'll be hard to come home let alone visit him at school or have him visit me. But I love him, he loves me. We can barely go 2 days without seeing eachother.

I'm in the same situation like many others. Been together 5 months (6 by the time I leave) and my classes start exactly one month from today. I'm going 4 hours east and he's going 3 hours south. We see each other everyday and we know its going to be a huge change in college but we're staying together. It was never a question of should we break up. I don't know if you can but I'm allowed to have a visitor come stay in my dorm for 2 nights and 3 days so we plan that he'll come visit me once a month. Its been proven that couples who forget that a breakup/divorce is an option last longer. So that's the method we're using.

Hey im 18/f and i've it occured to me today that i really dont believe in heaven or god/jesus. It just seems unreal you know. Somebody today told me you could just replace the word "angel" with "aliens" and people would believe it. One of my old classmates died a couple months ago and i kind of want that peace feeling that hes somewhere good you know. I went to church when i was a kid up until i was about 12. I suppose i just believed in it then because everybody else did. But ive came to the realization that i dont believe in it. I think its all bogus. I really want to believe in it :( but i just dont see how that could be real, i think we just rot in the ground, nothing more, no after life your soul lifting out of your body none of that. Can anybody "inspire" me somehow or convince me that there is a higher power. I really want to believe in jesus :(

I'm the same as you. I've tried to force myself into Christianity and I just can't do it. You don't have to believe in god and jesus to believe good things happen after you die. I've always sort of believed in reincarnation, that your soul and spirit comes back in a new life. I'm currently undeclared as far as religions go but I'm studying some new ones. I think America is so dominated by Christianity that we feel pressured to become a part of it. Find your own path. Be who you want to be. Only believe what your heart tells you. Your friend is at peace with or without god. Its up to you.
