well school is about less than a month away. I'm going to be a freshman but I'm really nervous because of the grades being mixed together. I was just wondering from expierenced, is high school very different from middle school? and could someone just tell me like somethings i might want to know before I go? thankss.
Okay first off, high school is WAY better than middle school. You have more freedom and make a lot more friends. Something you should know is that bullying in high school, is just a stereotype. Mostly the upperclassmen try to help you find your way around and give you advice. Ninth grade is basically just a repeat of eight, meaning that it's similar and you learn somewhat of the same things. Don't be nervous. I only got lost once but that was because my high school has two different buildings to it and I went to the wrong one. Usually the high schools have maps, so you should be fine, but if you do get lost don't be afraid to ask someone for directions. Hope I helped :)
i have tryed like every kind of acne treatment there is. I dont have major acne but it is noticable. Make up sometimes covers it up. i have also been to the dermatologist and everthing they suggested didnt work. so does any have any ideas for different treatments i could use that work
Hey, my mom just ordered me ProActiv over the phone, some of my friends use it and they look amazing, you should try it. Another acne treatment that works really well is Differin, and it's not expensive at all. Other things I've tried are Clearasil and Biore, they make your pimples go away, but they end up coming back even while you're still using it, so I don't recommend them. Hope I helped : )

If you really want one that badly, then I say go buy one. You should decide whether or not to tell your mother. It's only underwear, so maybe she wouldn't mind. If you do your own laundry then she'll never have to know, but if you don't and don't want to tell her, then it's a good idea to start.

Lol no, it doesn't. Sometimes dreams are something that you think about for a second of your time a day and that thing that you thought about ends up in your dreams that night, or atleast that's what happens to me. Your dream doesn't mean that you want to be of the opposite sex, unless you yourself think you do, then your dream was just scrambled up thoughts of your day. Sometimes dreams mean nothing and sometimes they do, it's up to you to figure out what this one meant for you. Hope I helped.

The camera that I have was around $400, but I can't seem to find a link for you on sony.com. It's a cybershot that is flat on one end and curves on the other, but it's small. I have it in the grayish color and it is really cute. Here's another camera I think you might like:

Well there's a few different ones that are my favorites: Touch of Sun by Olay, Neutrogena Build-a-Tan, Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer, and Loreal Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer. My personal favorite is Touch of Sun by Olay because it's basically a moisturizer with a tiny bit of self-tanner in it so it lets you tone and color your skin without streaks of orange coloring and all that stuff. I'm f/13 and almost everyone aroungd where I live isn't virgin from age 11/up My friends and I are witch includes 2 boys- I was wondering, since alot of people(except parents) think we are wierd, Do you think it's wrong to be virgin?
I don't think it's wrong to be a virgin, but ultimately it's up to you to decide- do you think it's wrong? My question to you is why would being a virgin be wrong? I know you've probably heard this a lot, but what the majority of people do, isn't always the right thing to do. There's nothing wrong with you or your friends, don't let anybody get you to think there is because where I live, the majority of people probably haven't had sex, but I know that a lot of them wish they had. That probably doesn't make any sense, but there isn't anything wrong with being different by being a virgin. Hope I helped :)
Okay, let's get right down to it, I feel like I don't have any friends. I'm constantly comparing the amount of friends I have to the amount of friends other people have. For some reason, I always have less, and it is really starting to bother me. Also, I don't have that many guy friends that are my age and stuff (I'm a girl and I'm 14). I probably have about 10 good friends but I feel like I should have more. Is that an okay number, am I just over paraniod, or do I really not have that many friends at all? Should I make new friends and how? And pleas edon't suggest more actvities because I'm wicked busy during the school year.
By the way, I often suffer from lonlieness and depression.
In this world, you'll be lucky enough to have one good friend. Ten is a really good amount of friends to have, some people have lots of friends and a best friend, and some people have only a best friend and a couple of other friends. All you need is one person to be there for you and to support you and you're set for life, you don't need a huge group of friends to make you happy. Hope I helped.
P.S: There are a lot of people out there who don't have any friends, so people who have 1, 2, or even 3 friends are really lucky because they have someone there, but think of those without friends- aren't they lonely and feel left out? Usually their answer is yes.
Ok so, I've been dating my brother's friend Mike who lives in a diff. state for almost 3 months now, and we didn't tell my brother or my parents. But, my parent's found my Myspace and everything about Mike in it. They flipped out and my brother found out and got really mad. And if this one just a random relationship I would have just ended it .. but I really do love him, and I cannot live without him. I'm pretty sure I should just stay with him. but I don't know. so could you help?!? =)
I think that if this guy makes you happy, it's not fair of your parents and your brother to get in the way. Tell them you love him and if you're lucky, they'll understand. I know what it's like to love someone and not want to be without them, but for me it usually ends badly. So I hope you have better luck than I have, hope I helped.
I've been having this horrible pain, about 5 inches to the right of my belly button. It'll come for about 30 seconds, then go away. But it`ll hurt so bad it forces me to sit down.
(its not period cramps, it hurts much worse, and its totally different, plus I had mine last week)
And now, I feel faint, really hott, and super dizzy. When I was at the movies I was nauses (sp?)

I'm pretty sure those are the signs of appendicitis, I would definitely go see a doctor and tell your parents about it, don't wait too long. Also, you'll know it's appendicitis if you're screaming in pain, but if it's not a very sharp pain, then it might be something else. Good luck, hope you feel better.
Okay like over a year ago i taped all these pictures on my wall like 200 or so.. && i took them off && the wall looks awful..Painting isn`t an option && i don`t know what to do && to put those pictures back up would take a LONG time. I don`t really have money for posters.. So if you have any ideas please help.. Its horrible && i hate it..I doubt theres much to do but i just thought i`d give it a shot;;
ALso i have tons && tons of construction paper maybe i can put that up && then like draw or write on it..I can do grafitti good so maybe that would be okay..
Lol, that's what happened to me too. I ended up putting collages with pictures of my family and my friends, baby pictures, etc. You can use the construction paper and tape pictures on if you want to. Hope I helped :)

Most of the deodorants that people mentioned to you are all sold at Walgreens/CVS, the one I have you can find at Walgreens.

Well, technically there's no right and no wrong way to kiss a guy. Just relax, and it'll come to you. Think about how you would want him to kiss you and do exactly that to him. I think once it happens, it'll just come to you, act as if you've done this a million times and eventually you'll make a believer out of yourself. Hope I helped :)

It's totally normal for healthy girls and women to have a vaginal discharge that may show up on their underwear. The clinical name for this discharge is leukorrhea. Normal discharges are either thick and whitish or slippery and clear, depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle. There is little odor and no itching or burning.
However, if a girl notices her discharge is foamy or has an unpleasant odor, it is usually a sign of vaginitis. Vaginitis is any irritation in the vagina. It often causes an abnormal discharge. Vaginitis is caused by:
sexual activity
infections
lack of the hormone estrogen
irritants
allergies
Watch for these signs:
changes in color, quantity, or texture of the vaginal fluid
unpleasant odors
bleeding, spotting, or bloody discoloration
itching and/or burning of the vagina or vulva

Haha, yes I have PLENTY .. I love to read. My suggestions are: All books by Sarah Dessen such as The Truth About Forever, Someone Like You, Just Listen, Dreamland, & Keeping the Moon. The series of books by Megan McCafferty called Sloppy Firsts (1st book), Second Helpings (2nd), & Charmed Thirds (3rd). Other books that I enjoyed reading are Fat Camp, Prep, Life in the Fat Lane, The Georgia Nicolson series (7 or 8 books I think) by Louise Rennison, Bras & Broomsticks, Frogs & Frenchkisses (both) by Sarah Mlynowski, and Sixteen which is a book that has like 20 or 30 different short stories from different authors about kids turning sixteen. is it safe to go to sleep with a tampon in?
Well, I was just reading about this and they said that it is only safe to leave a tampon in for 4-8 hours. So, if you only sleep 8 hours, then yes it is safe, but if you sleep for around 9 1/2-10 hours, then no it isn't. Hope I helped :)

Yup, it's very normal. When I'm on my period and asleep, in the morning I wake up and there's nothing there. It's basically just because you're not moving around as much as you are during the day and you're lying down, so it's not likely that a lot of blood would come out. Hope I helped :)

Yes, you're definitely doing the right thing, and it's really sweet. Small talk is a really good way to get to know someone better, so keep on doing what you're doing. Eventually ask her if she wants to do something sometime maybe after your class and then you can get to know her even better. I bet you'll have no problem, good luck :)
