laycieee answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 9:14 pm:
It's totally normal for healthy girls and women to have a vaginal discharge that may show up on their underwear. The clinical name for this discharge is leukorrhea. Normal discharges are either thick and whitish or slippery and clear, depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle. There is little odor and no itching or burning.

However, if a girl notices her discharge is foamy or has an unpleasant odor, it is usually a sign of vaginitis. Vaginitis is any irritation in the vagina. It often causes an abnormal discharge. Vaginitis is caused by:
sexual activity

infections

lack of the hormone estrogen

irritants

allergies

Watch for these signs:

changes in color, quantity, or texture of the vaginal fluid

unpleasant odors

bleeding, spotting, or bloody discoloration

itching and/or burning of the vagina or vulva
(if any of this applies to you, go see your doctor)

- I got this information off of a site on google.com, if you have any more questions, go there and there are plenty of sites that can help. I'm not quite sure what it is myself, but if you're really concerned ask your mom or your doctor, hope I helped.
