It's a cybershot that is flat on one end and curves on the other, but it's small. I have it in the grayish color and it is really cute. Here's another camera I think you might like:

Find some expert opinions. Go out and buy a couple of photography magazines, and read the articles about professional digital cameras. Magazines are always putting out "top ten new cameras" lists. The top-of-the-line cameras out these days have features out the wazoo; imagine what you want your camera to do, and odds are there's one that does it.
Also, you might consider talking to a photographer in your field of interest. If you're into portraits, make an appointment with a professional studio and pay the photographer for a half hour of his time. If you want to do nature photography, find someone who does that.
If money is truly no object, then you may find yourself looking in the $2500-$3000 range for a truly excellent camera. It's probably worth a few bucks up front for you to research and find the best one for your needs. [ Xenolan's advice column | Ask Xenolan A Question ]
