i'm going to be 17 in a little over a month. i weigh about 170lbs and i'm around 5'3 or 5'4. i know i'm overweight, but i was curious--what do you think is a healthy weight for someone as short as i am? do you have any tips on how i can lose that weight?
well you should use a bmi calcuator.
that tells you if your overweight.
as to lose weight, exercise and diet are good.
just maybe workout like 30 minutes 3 times a week and eat 5small healthy meals aday and you should be fine..

well everyones skin is different and different things work for different people.
i use differin because proactive didnt work for me.
but its hard to tell yourself, so you should go to the dermatologist and tell them what youve used and whats worked and what hasent and like when you get your acne things like that, they should help.

yea neosporin helps wonders with mine, it may not be completely gone but it will help alot, also witchhazel, or something like that, your mom probally knows it.

is it pointless to do crunches when you have excess belly fat? i have a huge belly and i've been doing crunches, but all they have done is made my hip bones go away! I looked online and read that you shouldnt do crunches with excess belly fat because it'll just puff your stomach out more.

well, heres the deal.
crunches make you get muscle, so it will make your stomach look bigger because the muscle is underneath the fat.
you probally have killer abs if youve done alot of crunches but they dont show, cos you have to get rid of the fat.
and you do so by cardio, running, dance, walking anything that burns fat.
ddr is amazing&really fun, its what i do.
and youll also get thinner on the rest of your body.
so you can contine doing crunches but they wont show until you dont have stomach fat anymore.

alright, so i want to lose weight. any inspirational/motivational advice with tips on how to make losing weight successful?
please include like what i can eat for breakfast (a quick "to-go" meal would be great), for lunch, and for dinner.
also what exercising methods can i do? i do have a treadmill, so how long a day should i use it?
and how much weight can i lose the healthy way if i stick to it?
i am overweight so it's not gonna be easy to just "get right on it" so really help me out, and anyone with experience to give me advice would be great.
and for the "bonus" any great weight-loss products to recommend? i already use slim-fast shakes so any bars or desserts (healthy alternative ones) would be good.

k, well i lost weight, so i know where your at.
for breakfast, you can eat like a yoplait fat free yougurt, they are really good for you.
[also try to drink like 3 glasses of low fat or fat free milk a day]
lunch you can have like a turkey sandwhich or maybe like progresso soup.
dinner you can have lean cusines, they have alot of differnt meals and theyre really good.
to start use the treadmill for like 30 minutes, you dont even have to do it everyday, maybe everyother day, you can walk, jog, run, just go.
then the next week, maybe do 60 minutes everyotherday. or whatever, but dont overdo it to start.
a healthy weight to lose is 1-2 pounds a week, but it also depends on your weight, if your really overweight, youll lose more weight because you have more to lose.
just keep thinking on how much you want to be healthy &stuff.
&the 100 calorie packs are really good.
&try to stay away from soda and junk.

Ok soo I really want to know what is the best acne wash.I dont have bad acne just mild. I tried Pro-Activ and it worked alright but not well. Everything else I tried really hasnt worked well on my skin. If you know of any good face washes or like cleansers let me know please.

ok i have been wanting to lose wait so since before christmas i have been eating one meal a day with various snacks. I am 13 years old and got my period in october for the first time. I havent had it since christmas. Does that mean i have Amenorrhoea ? is there any way i can get it back ? if i continue to eat 1 meal a day will it get worse ?? help !!
you could have it but it could also just be your still like getting used to your period, it doesnt always come every month, especially when you start it.
and eating one meal a day is no good.
you should eat 5-6 small meals a day.
like maybe an apple for breakfast, a light snack, a small lunch, another snack, a small dinner, light snack.
like that, it keeps your metabolism going so you lose more weight.
so start eating more than one meal a day.

Hey. I'm trying to loose some pounds for my birthday party that's coming up. It's a pool party and now that gym's over and everything I'm afraid I haven't been very active. I've been going on the tredmill for a half hour each day since yesterday. Lol. But anyways, I want to loose about 10 pounds which would be great. I'm 14/f if it helps. Anyways, I'm also trying to eat healthy but the meals I've been eating really have no flavor. Such as, a bagel with no butter, or plain pasta, or salad. So if anyone can come up with some tasty healthy meals that would help me loose weight or at least that are healthy I would be so greatful. As many ideas as possible would be wonderful too. well yoplait yogurts are really good, they come in alot of flavors and are only like 110 calories but they have alot of nutrients, it also says the help you burn more fat.

What can I do to get slimer thighs in the upper area? I'm skinney but I got a lot of fat in my upper leg I could say because if I walk in my underwear or in anything I can feel that fat in my legs jiggling! Here's a picture of an example of the legs I want (any example would do like celebs that don't have fat in their legs) and I don't have a webcam or scanner or anything so I tried my best at drawing my leg.

Anything about ugly knees either? I sit down a lot so my knee is really ugly looking but it's mostly from school, you can't say I want a chair and other students can't get one or it would be unfair.
running helps the most, its very effective, especially for your legs.
if you can go to a pool swimming is also great. then maybe like once you get rid of the fat you can tone it more, like doing squats and things like that.

find a picture of someone in like a bathingsuit, whos body youd want to look like and then cut a picture of your head out and paste it on the body then hang it like where your food is that way everytime you go for food you see that and it might stop you from eating junk and stuff.
also exercise shouldnt be something you dont want to do, make it fun, listen to music while you work out, even watch tv, if you have a tredmill you can run on that while watching tv or something and time flies.
