i got dumped for the first time last week. me and my bf had been going out for 4 months. it's been about a week since we broke up, and we have the same friends and free block at school. we end up hanging out and it's driving me crazy. he's loud and funny, always the center of attention. he's flirting with all these girls (who are my friends), and it just, well, hurts. i'm over him (this might sound mean but,) i hate seeing him happier without me than he was with me. prom is coming up and there's this guy, blake, who likes me, but i dont like him. and the guy i do like, carlos, is on a "break" with my friend, ana. what should i do to stop feeling so angry at my ex? and to find a prom date? should i go with the guy i dont really like, just as friends? I'm doing an art project on time structures and for a section of it I'm going to be taking action sequences on my camera. That's like a photo every hafl second or something to capture movement.
I need suggestions of what actions I could take the photos of - ideas I already have include someone dancing, a fight, a skate stunt, someone jumping off a wall.

Well, if it's the SF state I'm thinking of, You'll be right by Stonestown Mall (decent shopping) the stonestown theatre (they show alot of neat artsy flicks) Lake merced (you can feed the ducks or go fishing or just walk, it's really pretty) You're near the zoo, but you'd have to drive/take a bus/bart, plus there's the City itself, Haight-Ashbury is always neat, Clement streets fun too, specially the goodwill store there, and the castro had great shopping and good resteraunts (try Le Med!)
SanFranciso is one of the most beautiful, coolest citys ever, so good choice!

There's instructions on how to put in on in the box, it's hard to put it in the wrong place, since the urethra is WAY too tiny and the rectum is too far back. I'd go for the smallest kind available (tampax has a junior/slender size, it's the one with the pink stripe I think) and you have to gauge the absorbency yourself, though I'd aviod super, cuz you have a higher risk of TSS with those (again, explained on the pamphlet in the box).

I just moved into a new house and my room is light pink and green. I am not into that at all, not one bit. But my parents won't let me paint over it. I'm not gothic; but my favourite color is black, i wear black all the time, i'm into heavy metal, my favorite band is Lamb of God and Insane Clown Posse. I like stars and hearts. I would probably be more into the colours if they were alot darker, but i can't paint! I asked if i could get a black stripe near the top but our painters' hand isnt steady enough, but I can paint some black into it, but where? Not the whole thing so what can i do? What can i do that will make my room alot less girly and young? Please help! I hate these light baby colors! (link)

well, you can paint it darker colors that AREN'T black, try a nice red or blue, also, you can get some old black clothes/anything fabric-y stuff from a thrift store and drape it on the walls, and get some black/colored lightbulbs to make it seem darker.
Or just COMPLETELY cover the walls/celing with posters of bands you like.

It's fine, girls always are a bit irregular at first, I skipped mine for a whole summer, you will, eventually ovulate every month, but you're still developing.

Certain Hormones are being released to stop ovulation and the rest of the menstural cycle. Some preagnancy tests can dectect them. Or go to a family planning clinic (planned parenthood, if you're in the bay area, Daly City Youth Health Center, when you call to make the appointment, ask about confidentiality if you don't want your parents to know) or your doctor and have your preagnancy test done professionally, or wait for a missed period.
Also, if it happens again, I'd look into the morning-after pill, or just go on normal contraception as a back-up.

Okay well I know you guys aren't doctors but we can't get ahold of ours right now so I thought I'd ask.
My friend was at baseball practice this morning and got hit with a ball coming out of a pitching machine at 70 mph right in the forehead. He had to go to the hospital and eveything.
Well, he's over at my house now because no one is home at his house and he can't fall asleep for more than 1 1/2 hours at a time. They told him to keep his head elevated from his body to try to reduce the swelling.
He started complaining that when he uses a pillow it get very uncomfortable. We tried differnet pillows and he still doesn't want one. Do you think it would be okay if we just let him lay without a pillow or anything to keep his head up? (link)

uhm, if he can hold his head up himself then he can, but the doc said to keep his head elevated, so you need to keep his head elevated. have him lay on the floor with his head on the first stair up if you have stairs and REALLY doesn't want a pillow.

because if you don't, then when you HAVE to do something physical, you're less prepared to and will run out of breath/energy faster, also, even if you're a healthy weight, not exercising can increase your risk of heart disease.

Okay welll... 13/f and i am getting a white discharge in my underwear and it does not smell good at all. I have started my period so its nothing like that i mean it might involve it but its not warning me or anything. Never have been sexually active either so i dont know how to clean better down there and have tht stuff stop coming out. also. how are you and what are u supposed to be cleaning with down in tht region?Does it help to shave?

I have known this girl since kindergarden right. Now we are in 8th grade and for some reason, this year i really seem to like her. I mean she is nice, funny, smart, and very beautiful. How can i not like her. But the problem is, i have trouble finding the courage to ask her out. I am good with girls in the sense of friendship, but when it comes to love life, im a mess. I am 14 and she is 13. i am 11 months older than her but i really dont see that as an issue. You should be very worried, alot of the time STDs show no symptoms. Tell him that you're worried about both of your health and that you need him to get tested, just to put your mind at ease.

Me and one of my friends wanted to play a prank on this annoying guy that had been stalking another friend of ours that works as a waitress. Well actually there were 3 people in on the prank. The owner and chef of the restaurant encouraged us to do this because his waitress (our friend) had been complaining about this guy that always came into the restaurant, asked her out repeatedly, bought her unwelcomed gifts and then followed her home after her shift. So this was the joke: we went into the porn shop, bought all these sex toys, wrapped them, and then signed it to him from a "secret admiror". This would give him a taste of his own medicine. Well when he went into the restaurant and picked up his gift, he blamed it on another customer, and now our friend that owns the restaurant is mad at me and my friend for having one of his regulars upset. But it was HIS idea. I also found out that he thinks that I have a crush on the creep who was stalking the waitress. When I asked why I was told because I was one the ringleaders in the prank. I was furious and told everyone that it was a joke that went too far, and that I wished I hadnt gotten involved. How can I make things right? And why should I have to apologize because I wasnt the only one in on this. (link)
