hey! im a fourteen year old "freshie" and im always up for people to ask me for their advice. im usually pretty good at it, and i try to give my honest opinion. i enjoy hanging out with my friends, jumping on my trampoline, going to the mall, shopping, going online, listening to music, etc... im a very easy going person and i have a lot of friends and im very happy. people describe me as bubbly, funny, nice to be around. people have told me that theyve never heard anyone say anything bad about me... so what does tht tell you? im obviously some what cool.. ha ha
i dont think im the best ever, i can always improve, but i do think im one of those people that can be a good friend

if i straighten it, it just straightens.
and it doesn't flatten, it's still poofy.
also, it curves in at the end.

well, uve probably tried a straightening iron. maybe you should get a perm and maybe thin your hair next time u get it cut. thinner hair is usually more relaxed

Well i have a friend lets call him fred.. well fred is usally really happy.. and i cant picture him being sad at all.. i dont think i have ever seen him sad.. and ive known his since 2nd grade (in 10th now) so ya.. and today i went online and his away message said dead inside.. and i asked him if he was ok and he didnt say anything.. and im worried about him cause hes one of my really really good friends.. what should i do? please answer i rate high.. if youre great friends ( which you say you are) you should definately talk to him about this. if he is putting on a false image then it must be really hurtful inside... i know what hes going through, i seem VERY happy to everyone around me and i get little spurts of sadness. sometimes, i can barely talk to anyone and ive always wanted someone i could just talk to.
so you should DEFINATELY talk to him.. tell him that youre there for him and that you will listen to anything he has to say

it mite be hard to get this out of him, but try your hardest. share something secretive with him. he'll open up

Im skinny, and i have been for my whole life. Im 5'10'', 105, and im NOT anorexic. I just started thise new medication, Adderall, for my narcolepsy, and it seems to be helping but one of the side affects is...anorexia/loss of appetite. since i started this medication i only eat once a day, and its something really small like a bowl of soup, pickle, ice cream, etc. I cant stop taking the medicine, so i need some suggestions. Is there some pill i can buy at my local Wal-greens that will make me hungry? Please help me because now, when i look/think about food, i feel sick. I can't get any skinner or i will dissapear!! Thank you for any help i really need to get some weight.

just pig out or not really pig out but eat things really high in fats/calories... dont eat a lot (because u said you feel sick thinking about food) just eat things.

Hi, I am a 17 yr old male who has a problem. My g/f head over heels in love with me. She claims, that if she could, she would marry me and have my children. The only thing is that I don't love her. I just like her a lot, but nowhere near to love. I used to say that I love her though I didn't mean it. Over the summer I admitted to her the truth sbout my feelings for her. Thinking this would driver her away, it only brough her closer. She is glad that I am able to tell her the truth on how I feel because she feels it brings us closer. We are curently intimate in the act of sex. I have always wondered if I am in it because of sex. My question is should I stay with her, and if I do, is it right for us to be having sex? (link)

if you dont love her, you might have to take a break or something, because it's not going to work out if you dont feel the same for each other. it's good though that she feels closer to you due to the fact that at least she trusts you to tell her what you feel. this is also bad in a way because now you probably dont know how to act.
my advice is: if you don't love her, you probably shouldn't keep her with you because, the longer youre with her, the more she'l miss you once you break up. it probably feels very awquard to you that you don't feel the same. next time, youre with her ask your self " do i love her?" and ask that whenever u think about it and figure out when youre happiest. if its when u guys are having sex, then maybe tht is the reason. just ask yourself this and you'll see what she truely means to you.

okay so I have a digital camera and for some odd reason I cant get it to work with my computer..it came with software so you could put it on your computer but the installation doesnt go right. The camera is a FinePix A330 its made by that fuji film thing. um my computer is a Windows XP made by Compaq and it has all the system requirements..umm on the software cd it says "FujiFilm Sowtware for FinePix AX Version 4.2b for Windows and Macintosh" I'm not sure what is wrong but if anyone can help or tell me where to go to have it looked at or something i'd appreciate it. u should have gotten a cord to connect your computer and the camera.
if you just dont know how to convert pictures :
- first connect the computer and the camera through the appropriate plugs. then click the button that says "on" and hold it down. once you do this, a file should open in your computer
if you still have problems :
-although it is said that you can use a macintosh or a windows, maybe u should go back and check the labeling and maybe go to ask the store and see what advice they can give you. if not go online and search.

my advice is to confront this kid because obviously hes doing it for a reason (unless hes an idiot... which could be the case also...) confront him and think of something that could have made him mad or something. . . dont fight back, it will just get worse. confront it with a positive attitude. approach, trying to get a solution

Recently me(14f) and my boyfriend(15m) broke up. We had plans to go to homecoming together, and everything so now that we are broken up I pretty much have NO date for homecoming, I do know a few people that like me... Hey I'm doing a school project thats due tomm. for math, and we have to make an If, then statement. We have to get a slogan from a store or restaurant or something, but I cannot think of anything!! Here's an example the teacher gave: If you eat Subway, then you eat fresh.

well me and my best friend well....lets just say were not friends anymore, she started datin this guy like a few months ago and i started datin this other guy. she decided to put him before me and i always wanted to hang out with her. i got annoyed and stoped hanging out with her, and i started hanging out with my boyfriend eric. then her boyfriend hurt her and dumped her for some other chick.then she wanted to be my friend again. i tried but i kept on putting eric first before her and she got mad. i told her that she did it to me and she didnt want to hear it and walked away. then she got jealous and started spreading rumors about me and tryin to get him to dump him. it worked, she asked him out. he found out and dumped her. so she got mad and tried to get me to believe that he didnt like me and didnt want me anymore. so then i didnt believe her and almost broke up with him after 10 months for something that wasnt true. now she wants me to be her friend again. i tried to talk to her at her house on the ohone, but her mom called me a tramp and a bitch and a slut.so im trying to tell her i dont want to be her friend because she is being too twofaced and liein too much. but i dont know how to tell her. im lost, can u help me? wow thats terrible
you should probably talk to her and tell her face to face what is going on. give her examples of how she hurt you so that you can back up what your'e saying. if she really wants to be your friend, she needs to accept the choices that you make and appreciate what you do. otherwise thats not trust/friendship.
secondly. thats very mean of her mom.... if her daughter is trying to regain a new friend, she shouldnt go around saying that. you should probably tell her that you dont appreciate it and that it hurts your feelings.
i know you dont really want to be her friend, but its probably a good idea just to be friends with her. even if shes not a great friend, thats better than an enemy. she may be two faced, but then at least she won't be making rumors and stuff about you.
you should probably tell her the whole story about how it happened. tell her the honest truth. if u lie, itll get u into worse trouble...

Ok well me and my friends hang out in a group of four. None of us can buy costumes anymore, so we need a good Halloween costume for four people. Can you give me some ideas? I have been skipping my band sectionals for the whole beginning of the year (I only went to one and then it got changed to a diff. period to replace a study hall and I havent gone since). Altogether I've missed about 3 or 4. I feel terrible about it, and I know it my grade is going to be really bad...but after I missed the first one I freaked out about going to the second since I missed the one, etc. etc. And it has gotten WAY out of control! I dont care about my grade though...I just need an excuse! Yeah I know I should probably tell the truth but...he doesnt hate me now and I dont want him too. okay, sectionals is very important especially if youre just learning, if not, its a tuner, so either way its helpful... dont freak out about it, just show up next time and my advice is to not try and make an excuse, just tell him you'll try harder next time.

i'm 13 years old and i'm only 4'11. i only have like 2 years left to grow (yes i've had my period already) and i really want to be at least 5'1 or something. if i have to spend the rest of my life being under 5 feet, i'll hate it a lot. i know to some people it may not seem like such a big deal but it kind of is to me. my parents are normal height so i don't know whats wrong?? so how can i get taller? like what should i eat? vitamins? thanks (link)

hmmm. being 4'11" and 13 years old isnt really abnormal. so you shouldnt worry about it too much. but if you want to grow taller, you should just eat healthy and keep well excercized and energized. you might just be one of those people who grow later than other people, so if youre healthy, aging will probably bring your height up

excercise... keep your heart rate up....
moving in general burns calories, but i think you mean at a good rate. you have to push yourself to test the limits without pushing your self in a repeating excersize
