i got dumped for the first time last week. me and my bf had been going out for 4 months. it's been about a week since we broke up, and we have the same friends and free block at school. we end up hanging out and it's driving me crazy. he's loud and funny, always the center of attention. he's flirting with all these girls (who are my friends), and it just, well, hurts. i'm over him (this might sound mean but,) i hate seeing him happier without me than he was with me. prom is coming up and there's this guy, blake, who likes me, but i dont like him. and the guy i do like, carlos, is on a "break" with my friend, ana. what should i do to stop feeling so angry at my ex? and to find a prom date? should i go with the guy i dont really like, just as friends?
gorgeous_vixen answered Tuesday January 31 2006, 5:58 am: your ex is having a good time now, and YOU SHOULD TOO! have fun and live life. apparently, he has moved and you will too! and dont let him see that his "flirting" to other girls gets in your nerves. show him its OK! that it doesnt bother you anymore. gurl, you deserve a guy way better than him. :)
so if prom comes and you have noone special in your mind (do not include Carlos because this might trouble your friendship with anna), then you dont have to be with blake just for the sake of having a date. if you dont like him, you dont like him.thats all there is. dont force yourself. plus, being a stag has lots of advantages. because you can dance all the cute guys you want. hehe.. (note: lots of cute guys go stag so they can dance with all the pretty girls without having a consent of their dates). so its fun! [ gorgeous_vixen's advice column | Ask gorgeous_vixen A Question ]

Also, if it makes you sad to see him with other girls, then you might not be completely over him?
