I have never before used tampons and I want to start trying them but I am like so terrified that I am going to put it the wrong place or it will hurt to bad does anyone have any ideas?
ThugGirl041790 answered Thursday January 26 2006, 11:34 am: Theres nothing to be terrified of hun.. There are instructions on how to insert a tampon on the box.. They don`t only tell you but it has pictures on the box that`ll be helpful.. If they aren`t on the box then they are defiently inside.. I recommend taking your time don`t rush putting it in.. Best of luck.. ♥Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]

I'd go for the smallest kind available (tampax has a junior/slender size, it's the one with the pink stripe I think) and you have to gauge the absorbency yourself, though I'd aviod super, cuz you have a higher risk of TSS with those (again, explained on the pamphlet in the box).
thisismydance answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 11:06 pm: trust me....
ive done this a long time.
put vasalene on the tip of it.
and theres only one hole it goes into easily....
its not as hard as you first make it in your mind. if you need to....
try folding up a peice of Toliet paper... and patting 'down there' and then look where the 'stuff' is coming from... then put the tampon there. its soo easy.
good luck :)
