in 1 year i have to choose between field hockey and soccer b/c the 2 sports take place at the same time!! I do not wantt o choose but i have to so what do u think i should choose or what woule be a good way to choose?

If it were me, I would choose field hockey because I like that sport better, but I think you should pick which ever one you're better at, because you will be more likely to make the team.

What are love handles and where are they located?

Love handles are fat deposits on your lower back. Put your hands on your hips, and then feel your back around that area. If you feel little bulges of fat, then you have love handles.

well im startin my h.s on sept 8...im really nervous EVERYONE @ my middle skool is goin to this one h.s and im goin to another one far away bc i didnt like the ppl @ my old skool i just had a lot of probs n stuff....but yea this skool is a whole diff crowd of ppl my last skool was s0o0o ghetto!! this is like really not....im just so nervous i dont no ne 1 and we hav to wear uniforms that r navy blue and khaki...im afraid im gonna look like a dork and hav no friends..hellllppp...im gonna b so lost =(

Don't worry, you won't look like a dork if everyone is wearing the same thing. You can try dressing up your uniform with some pins or patches, and don't forget to decorate your backpack. And non-ghetto schools are much better (My school now is really ghetto) because most people are just nicer. If you want to make friends, talk to people in your classes. If you see anyone else sitting alone, talk to them. You aren't going to be the only new kid in your school. There will be other people who feel as alone as you do.

Why is it that when you eat anything it has a tendency to bloat you and make you look bigger than you are. Is there a way to prevent this? I usually just end up not eating. Help! Thanks! I rate good.

It's because you consume a lot of calories in a short ammount of time, and you gain temporary weight because you haven't burned them off yet. It usually goes away when you wake up the next morning, because your metabolism speeds up when you sleep. There isn't really a way I can think of to prevent it, except eating smaller portions. Like I said before, it isn't much to worry about because it goes away the next day.

I don't think so. You should try and dress them up a bit by putting pins on the cuffs or mabey add some kind of decoration to the bottom. Be creative.

I checked an online BMI calculator, and it said that your weight was normal. If you do want to lose weight, then try drinking skim milk instead of whole, chocolate pudding instead of oreos, eat yogurt for breakfast, do lots of sit ups, and try gettting a couple of excersize tapes and doing them a couple of times a week.

I have dark arm hair and I want to get rid of it b4 school starts(August 16)So plz does anyone know any ways to make my arm hair lighter like blonde? Juice 1 lemon, and put the juice on your arms. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, and it should work. If not, the only thing you can do is either shave it (which isn't really good because it grows back quicker than leg hair) or buy dye for it at the store.

hey .. i have a makeup question. i have red hair and really light eyebrows an eyelashes (pretty much blonde) but i wanna wear mascara this year. im afraid that if i wear dark mascara - it would look bad against my eyebrows since they are so light and then my red hair. so have any suggestions about what I can do so it doesnt look too drastic?

It would look weird to wear black mascara, but mascara comes in more than one shade. I have blonde hair, so I use black-brown mascara, which isn't as dark. Read the bottoms of the bottles. I think you should get black-brown or brown. Maybe get both to see which one you like better.

I agree. If you don't eat this stuff when you're a teen, you'll never be able to again without getting huge, so enjoy it while you can and have a some ice cream once or twice a week!

I think you should wear a skirt with a nice pattern on it. I think you should go shopping within a week or 2, because pretty much every store is having end of the summer sales, so you could find cute stuff for less money. Just last week I went to Delia's and paid $7.50 for a skirt that was originally $35.00. Also check H&M, they have good prices all year round. And go to Claire's too, accessories can make any outfit look cool.

Emaciated means very thin. The test was telling you that your weight is not normal, and that you need to gain some.

Sorry to tell you this, but there's no way to break up with someone without hurting them. The best technique is to slowly start hanging out with other guys (don't kiss them or anything) and maybe flirt with them a little bit. That way your boyfriend will be more prepared when you dump him, and it won't be such a huge shock.

Eyeshadow isn't too bad as long as you don't put it all around you don't wear too much. I think it's fine for a 7th grader to wear eyeshadow and a little mascara. And what's the worst that can happen if you ask?

I think you should either get some padded bras or push up bras. Padded bras are more comfortable than push ups, but push ups make you look bigger.

my friend Jay invited me to this party saturday night then a few mins later he said that I might not be able to go bc this girl that I don't along with will be there. But if i did wanna go I will have to ask this other kid. But me and this other kid aren't really friends. he's just planning it and the party is at jay's. So should I go?? I think you should go. If you don't, then the person that you don't like will think that she can push you around and that you are scared of her. I think that when you go, you should try to avoid her. If you do end up having to talk to her, just try to put aside your differences for a day so that you don't ruin Jay's party. If she tries to fight you, then just walk away.

I think you should get tested again and show him the results, then he has to believe you. If he still doesn't, than he doesn't trust you, and you don't need a boyfriend who doesn't trust you.
