This question was extremely long, explaining the whole situation, I decided that you guys don't need all of the details. A friend of mine is currently pregnant, the baby is due the second week of May. Her baby shower will be May 2nd and I need some ideas of what to get. She already has just about everything you could buy for a baby. It's going to be a girl, and I want something that won't cost too much over $20 because she isn't my best friend in the world, but she is a good person. They already have bottles, toys, diapers, blankets, and the works. What are some things that a baby girl can never have too much of, just in case I get something that somebody else (or the parents) have already bought?

I'm 15/f, so is she, but she'll be 16. The baby's dad is 19, still in the picture, and the mom and dad are getting married once my friend turns 16 in July. Please no lectures on that, she's already talked to one of the parenting teachers here, her mom, and guidance and all sorts of people. I just need some ideas for a baby shower gift. Thanks in advance.

Things you can get that will be very helpfull is:

-diapers
-get clothes that are more like 12 months because even tho it says 12month aka 1 year babys usually wear them before that because they grow really quick.
-Diaper bags. You can never have enough.

I'm 15. And pretty dumb..Not at the point where i'm retarded, but at the point where i have to go to summer school. I really want to get my permit over summer & go to this driving school, but I have summer school(I already found out I need to take it..). And everything is going to be hectic. Plus I'm about to get a job(i know right, a job at 15...but I got the hook ups =]). And I might keep that job over summer too. And i can't take the driving lessons when i'm still in the school year, because things are very busy with homework and stuff. I seriously don't know what to do. So this is what I was thinking. I asked my counsler at my school about summer school & asked if I can do independent study for the classes that I failed, but she said she WOULDN'T RECOMMEND it because kids do really bad. So this is what I was thinking:

Take independent study over summer & do my driving school and then go to my job. I know that my counsler said she wouldn't recommend it, but it's not like i'm those other students.

If you guys can help me out a bit on what I should do, and how I should do it, that'll mean alot.

Also, what do you do for independent study over summer? I've heard of the word & knew you do things on your own, but what exactly is it? What goes on & stuff?

First of all it kinda sounds like your just going to mess everything up even more then it really is. I did summer school 2 summers ago it started at 745 ended at 11 am. I went monday thru thursday. Im not sure what independent study is but if you do it on your own time you most likely wouldnt get it all done.

Summer school is 3 weeks to 6 weeks.

3weeks- half credit
6weeks- 1 credit.

Heres your choice.

Drivers ed usually last a couple hours a week. You can hold off drivers end until after summer school. Depending how long you have to go.

You can get a job and hold it just work after summer school.

Hey all i have AIM 5.9... Well the other day i was sitting here and everything was fine working great then all of a sudden my buddylist names disappear but the little notebooks/cellphone icons were still showing.. so it turns out i had to change my font from century gothic to tahome so i could see. well that was problem one.

Well dont go for the Player thats for sure.
I'd go for the one that you like nad he likes you.
Just because if you go for the one that doesnt really like and he ends up hurting you how do you know the one that likes you wont turn on you and end up not being there for you.

Wow im terrified of shots and needles at that. i Cant loking at them or having them go in side my. I havent had a shot in a while but ive had blood taken. You can ask for a stress ball and squeeze that just something that will keep your mind off the needle.

ok i have a boyfriend who i know im in love with and he is pretty much perfect but i just started a new job and there is this guy their who was the first person to actually talk to me and he helped me out a lot and now like we just talk a lot and he is really easy to talk to and im really quiet so its usually hard for me to talk to ppl and he is really sweet and no matter what he can always make me laugh and make me smile when im having a bad day and like if he is a work i totally forget about my boyfriend and i really dont know what to do because i feel like as much as i love my boyfriend i cant help but be intersted in him and even tho he is not the best looking guy but his personality makes him so cute and i doubt i have a chance with him its just like when we are both working like my goal is to flirt with him and get him to notice me no matter what is this bad?

Hey... I'm 15... recently I shoplifted and was caught. I was told it wasn't concidered a "felony" because it wasn't over $400. It would go on my record as pety theft and my mom would be fined. ...Well when I'm 16 I want to get a job but... is it going to be difficult (or harder) with pety theft on my record? I was told that when I'm 18 I can 'seal my record'. For now... is the pety theft thing going to be looked at when I apply for a job? Has anybody ever been caught shoplifting? if you have, does it make it harder to find a job? or some jobs like wokring in a mall or department store or any store? Yes in some states because i live in maine and i have enough credits to graduate this year but they wont me they said i have to go next year. Check with your guidance conselor about it and do it as soon as you can get there. Dont ait because if you do itll be to late.

Lately, our family has hit a financial problem. Today I was told something very shocking(sorry..but not going to say it). It hit me that, maybe, I need a job to atleast help my family and me a little bit. I know you guys get this question alot, but I seriously never thought I would need to find a job at such a young age. If you guys can answer a couple of questions it'll help me ALOT.

1) What jobs can I find at 15?? (Please be specific)
2) How much money SHOULD I get? Like,minimum wage? How much is that suppose to be? And what do I do if it isn't the minimum?

I can think of a grocery stores. Thats pretty much it youll only get part-time which i get i can only work 4 hrs a day during the wk and wkend i can work 8 hrs a day. And only 20 hrrs a week.

i get paid $7 a hr.

Last night I fell down the stairs and landed pretty hard on my "big toe" on my right foot. This morning, when I woke up, it was swolen and slightly bruised. It's extremely painful. I went down the stairs to ask my dad about it, and I forgot to walk on the side of my foot; I took a normal step (foot flat on the ground) and it hurt so bad that I started crying. I have a ballroom dance class and a Jewish/Russian dance class this afternoon. Going to a doctor is not an option. My dad thinks I broke it. What I want to know is, what can I do to make it less painful to dance and walk on? I've already taken pain reliever, but should I tape two toes together?

There is nothing a doctor can really do about a broken toe. All you can do is ice it up alot and stay off as much as you can keep your leg elavated as in above your heart. laying on a couch and putting your leg on pillows or the arm of the couch. You can try and tape your two toes together but its hard.
