Hey I was just wondering...where does it start, that is, STDs. If a guy and a girl are both virgins, is there still a chance? How does it like begin, because it doesn't seem to make sence. If its not infection by spreading it, then what starts them? Thanks - will rate.

a mother can pass on an std to her child while pregnant..so an std may be passed down to her child..so virgins could have stds if he got it from his mother.

people may be virgins..but stds can be passed down through foreplay (oral sex for example)

OKay, i wanna kno if there is something wrong with me. All guys i like pass me over for my friends. I'm just as pretty as them but i get ignored, or labed "friend only" and iono y. It's about a girl. What else? The backround story; we've been in the same insanely close group of friends since 2nd grade. I haven't liked her for THAT long. Some point last year I had one of those "whoa..." moments, and realized how I felt about her. I never really asked her out, per se, but at one point I had explained how I felt, blah blah blah, she didn't feel the same way but still loved me as a friend, etc.

Not that long ago I did ask her out, again, to find the same results. I only did it because she had been acting a little differently. "Interested", I suppose. I'm not too torn up about it, I moved on before and can do it again. But should I ever bother with asking her out again? Twice seems like enough, I mean, should I just wait for the impossibility of her "coming around" (while considering other girls, of course) ?

ive seen my friends in this situation before..and my opinion is you should move on to better things. there are lots of other girls out there who probably find you attractive and want to get to know you..so get out there and mingle with the ladies and forget this girl (in the romantic sense) Dont wait around for her, its the worst thing you can do because your missing out on so much. If she comes around in the future, then yeah go for it..but you persued it and she turned you down..so i would move on.

my best friend introduced me to this new guy she just started to go out with. She talks about him constanly. In her eyes he could do no wrong. When I met him he seemed nice. But later on he started to flirt with me. he told me that he is using her to get closer to me. He says He is just with her because she has a good paying job and she takes him out to dinner and shopping. In other words he is a friend with benfits. When I told her about what he was up to. She accussed me of being a liar and stoped talking to me. She had been my best frien since the 7th grad we are in our 20's now. I miss her and hate that she is mad with me . how can I get her to see that I am not a liar?

aww..ok what i would do is have a tape recorder and tape record what he says to you next time you and him are alone. like ask a question...so..how are you and (your friends name) doing? do you love her? questions like that will get him to repeat the same story he told you before. or..get it where shes listening in the other room and you talk to him while shes listening in the other room..or you can call him and have her listening..that sort of thing.

i hope your friend sees the truth soon..then her lesson willl be learned ..and she will never accuse yuo of such things again

I recently found out that my bestfriend cheated on his gf. And it wasn't just a make out with another girl type of cheating. He lost his virginity to this other girl. And he has no intention of breaking up with his real gf or even telling her. She lives about 2 hours away from here so unless someone tells her, she wont find out. She's also a good friend of mine so i'm questioning if I should tell her. I know if my bf was cheating on me and she knew, I'd want her to tell me. I'm not speaking to my bestfriend right now becasue of the fact. So should I tell his gf?

wow, tough situation! well..first i would talk to the guy and try and convince him to tell the truth to his girlfriend. tell him how its wrong , and it will make him feel better once the truth is out..maybe he will agree and tell her himself.

iff he doesnt..i would end up telling the girl shes being cheated on. i cant picture myself letting one of my good friends cheat on another good friend. i wouldnt be able to feel right about myself if i didnt say anytthing while knowing that the guy is cheating. so, i would talk to the girl ..and tell her how your good friends with both her and the guy ..so i would askk her to leave my name out of it..

she can just break up with him ..and not mention cheating..she can say shes suspecting something and break up with him..or say she has her resources or somethin..she doesnt have to say who she heard it from.

I am the one who wrote about me and my friend carly. Thanks for your advice. I am going to tell her that I will be here for her and do anything i can to help her and see what happens. Buying her chocolate sounds like a great idea, she will love that. The other thing is her boyfriend doesn't really treat her that well. He doesn't care whether she has enough to eat, he doesn't make sure she is feeling okay, he is rude to her, he swears at her and everything. He doesn't even spend time with her. yes definately. i would talk to her about breaking up with him..hes an asshole. Tell her not to panic about being pregnant with his kid because she can collect child support. He has a job so it will automatically be deducted out of his paycheck..trust me they find ways to make the person pay. tell her to keep her chin up and everything will work out..encourage her to break up with him because the child doesnt need to grow up around his bs!
