Q: alright...ive been friends with this boy whos my neighbor since ive met him, which was when i was around 8. im now 14 and ive liked him since i met him. i asked him out last year and he said he just wanted to be friends, but i cant get over him. i recently went out with a really nice guy, but broke up with him after 2 weeks because i still cant get over this other guy. im not his type or anything so i no we would never work, but ever since i asked him out, a year ago, i have cut and OD'd on pain killers. i stopped with the pain killers after about a month, but still cut. now one of my real good friends found out and is mad at me for doing it so i said id stop. well that was about 2 days ago and i havnt done it but now im doing pills again. i just feel like i need to talk to him and tell him everything but i have no clue how to because for the past year weve grown farther apart. please dont tell me to stop doing drugs cuz i dont need to hear that anymore, i just need to no how to talk to my friend. thanks so much!

I feel that if you tell this boy what you have been doing he will grow farther apart from you and become scared to get close. He would be scared of the fact that hes the reason your doing this stuff. So I think its a bad idea to tell him, because then you'll wanna hurt yourself more when you see his reaction. You dont have to listen to me but thats what I think would be best. Right now the best thing you should do is get help for yourself. I know you probabaly didnt want to hear this but i dont want to see you get hurt. You need to talk to someone, call a teen-help hotline, anything ..to make yourself better. This guy shouldent be the reason why you cut and OD. I bet there is plenty of other guys that are better than him and will like you. If you think I'm crazy, I'm not. See you werent meant to be so you need to find your true love..the person you were meant to be with! Sorry if I didnt help much, update me if you can !

Q: Me and my boyfriend did it on the 11th (i remember because i went to my friends party afterward). The first time we did it we used protection then we took a break and did it again but didn't use protection bc we didn't have any and I know that was stupid of me. The second time we only did it for about 5-10mins. A week or so passed and I took a test to see if I was pregnant, I wasn't. On the 25th I was suppose to have my period which didn't happen. Should I be worried or whats going on plez help I can't ask my parents bc they'll never look at me again.

After you have sex your period is always irregular. So your fine, thats just normal. A lot of people after they have sex, their periods get messed up. But wait another week or two and take another test. good luck !

Q: My eigth grade graduation (semi) is coming up & Im freaking out because its in June but Im not ready like my friends are. So, I have two q's ..1st is where can i find a cute inexpensive dress website besides Gojane.com? Also, I want to sing a song at the ceremony but I dont know what ..PLEASE dont say Graduation by vitamin C. thanks

Cheap dresses online and at the store would be www.forever21.com --They have dresses for $25 and lower. Also Charollete Ruse has cute ones. Just go to the mall and go into different stores and if a dress is your price range, then buy it. I dont know about a song though, sorry!

Q: well.. i have a boyfriend.. and i really love him and stuff but sometimes i feel like hes not treating me "best" although he seems a little obsessed.. haha and theres about 6 other guys that i could go to.. but i know if i break up wtih him for them ill never be able to get over him! hes an awesome guy.. help please!

Well just talk to him about him, if hes an awesome guy I'm sure he'll take what you said and try to make things better. Just tell him that hes a great guy but sometimes you treat me bad and I dont want to break up or anything. I just wanna talk about it. I'm sure he'll unterstand and apoligize and try to make things better.

Q: i want to lose a little weight, i am going on some sort of diet but i was thinking about throwing up like 1 time or even 2 times. Its nothing big, and i am going to eat, but IF i do this whats going to happen?? Because if you give me enough reasons why not to then i might change my mind

Dont do it. You say your only gonna do it once or twice, and then you get addicted. I know people that said they would do it once or twice, and they've been doing it for 3+ months now and dont know how to stop. please dont do it! if you want to lose weight just watch what you eat and watch your portion sizes..and drink water. I dont wanna see you get hurt!

Q: I was thinking about dumping my boyfriend, but I don't know if I want to now. One of my "friends" found out and told him and one of his best friends! He thinks I'm mad at him and stuff, but I'm not! I keep telling him that I'm not! BUt he still says I'm sorry! Some of my other friends were telling him that I was made at him because he didn't kiss me or anything at the movies over the weekend, and I don't really care. His best friend sent me a message that said that he was shy and he was sorry he didn't hold my hand or anything at the movies so he was gonna ask me to go to the movies this weekend to make it up to me. Now I don't know what to do, because if I do break up with him he's gonna think it is because of that. And I don't want him to think that, because it's not! And I don't know what to do! Someone please help me!!!

Why do you even want to dump him? Stay with him..your not mad at him and he didnt do anything. So stay with your boyfriend, and dont tell your friends about your relationship life. Its personal, something only between you and him. And he should have kept his best friend out of it. But anyway, go to the movies with him and talk to him about it...everything will be okay! Dont worry:) And your boyfriend is just scared your gonna break up with him and hes trying to save your relationship. Even though theres nothing to save, but he doesnt know that.

Q: This guy and I were going out in the beginning of January and now we are just friends. We hang out as friends… but we do stuff like a couple would. He told me he got grounded from his truck and phone about four days ago. Today I was with him and he showed me his keys and when I asked where his phone was he said he won’t get it back till later. I was hanging with him this afternoon and reached in his pocket and found his phone. I got pissed and ran away with it and found out he had sent a message to another girl. I threw it at him when he came back and he told me that what he wrote in his advice column was true. (He wrote that he “hearted” me… which I guess means I love you/something of the sort) and then we texted during the next class. He said he was sorry and that that was the only thing he has ever lied about to me. I feel like he’s been with a lot of other chicks, but he told me he hasn’t done anything with any other girl since we started “dating”. I was really mad at him in class and I told him that he should just leave me alone and not talk 2 me again. He texted back that he did care. So now I feel really weird. I still like him as more than a friend and I’m not sure what to do now that we just went through that big fiasco! I told him to text/call my phone later… but I’m not sure what else to do! One girl on my bus that knows him well says he’s a really confusing guy… I agree... but she said that he flirts with everyone and gets paid to give younger people rides. I don’t know what to think of him anymore because I’m not sure if he’s with anybody else or not??? Any ideas?!

Forget about him, he lied and only God knows what he has lied about before and will lie about. If he says he "hearted" you and didnt put "I love you" then he doesnt mean it. He's just trying to sweet talk you and get you back. If you do go back to him, he'll think its okay to lie again because you'll take him back anyway. Dont let him think like that ! Break it off and get over him. i know it might take a while to get over him, but you deserve so much better and you'll find someone knew soon!

Q: hi, this is really embarassing, but i recently have been letting my pet dog lick me down there..i was wondering, can this hurt me in any way? thanks.

Um...It cant hurt you but stop doing that! You know I think thats illegal, I'm not completly sure. Just find some other ways to pleasure yourself..

Q: hey. my best friend moved last year, well during the summer of 8th grafe to high school, and well we haven't talked much. i text-ed her yesterday and we just texted each other back and forth for a little bit. i wanna ask her to come over and maybe hang out cause its spring break and all but i don't know what to do. can anyone give me any ideas? she's really preppy and her dad is the president of the school board and she's very riche she moved very far away and i want her visit to mean something! i rate well! :) Thanks in advance!

Actually I think Summer would be a lot better! Just because Spring Break is so short and if you hung out during the summer that would give you extra time to hang out. Ask her if her parents can let her come to visit for like 3 weeks. I know its long, but thats the point. Staying up late, hanging out at the movies mall whatever, you could have a welcome back party and invite all her old friends or something...fun stuff. Just the fact that shes there to hang out with you means something! I think its a great idea to have her visit and I bet she would think so too!

Q: So there's this boy. That likes me. Ben. He's a junior. And I'm a freshman. But there's also this sophmore that likes me. Robert. And this 8th grader, whom I happen to be in love with. Bret. But I need to get over Bret.. because it's been a year since we've been apart. But I don't know.. I'm afraid to get into a relationship with Ben, because the 2 year difference, and going off to college, and all that stuff. I don't know.. I just need help. And Robert.. He's so kind, but he wouldn't be as hurt if I went out with Ben, but Ben would be crushed if I went out with Robert. And Bret.. He's just always there, making me want him more..

Well get rid of Bret because your trying to get over him, and him being there isint helping at all. There is a two year difference between you and Ben but Ben is a junior and still has next year to be with you! So I think you should go out with Ben, since Robert wouldent be so crushed. But keep Robert as a friend since hes so kind. But try not to like Robert when your with Ben. I think Ben is your best choice, but its your decision. Q: ok, i have a really big mouth, i can't keep a scercret & all of my firends get mad at me when somethihg slips. they never tell me a scerect any more, even though i am working on it. does anyone have any advise. plese help, if u can!!!!!

Just dont say anything to anyone. I know it might not be that easy but before you tell anyone ANYTHING catch yourself before you say it. It just takes practice and stuff. Think before you speak and you should be fine! good luck !

Is your picture bigger than 15 k? If so you can re-size it on photobucket.com (I can do it for you if you want) And I think you should just start out with a new column...with a new name and everything because that and (&) thing totally screws it up. I tried to click on it and it didnt work. So you might not be able to get a lot of people to come to your column.

Q: Hi, Advicenators. Normally I make up my own mind, but I need a little help. If you're going to be sarcastic or rude, don't bother.

I have a problem with my Sunday School teacher. You see, I honestly believe that I have more Biblical knowledge than her. I know that sounds conceited.. but it just seems like it! Yesterday (Easter Sunday) our "lesson" was on miracles. This is what the conversation was like:
Teacher:Who can preform miracles?
Teacher:Only Jesus can preform miracles! No one else can!
Me:*raises hand*
Teacher:yes?
Me:But Jesus isn't the only one who can preform miracles.. Paul, Elija, Elisha, the Devil, the Twelve Disciples.. they all preformed miracles..
Teacher:No, no, no. That's not what I said..
Me:You said "Only Jesus can preform miracles".
Teacher:Anyway, girls, as you see.. blah, blah, blah.
At this time, I'm feeling pretty screwed over since she just blew me off. All of that conversation is an exact quote. This was the third time that I was able to correct her (and the third time I got blown off) yesterday alone! It happens every Sunday.. she doesn't know the lesson, she doesn't know what she's talking about.. It makes me mad!
I know that I am much, much more mature Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and in my knowledge of the Bible and Christ.. (not trying to sound conceited..) but the lessons are never fufilling! I could gather more from my eight-year old sister's Sunday School lesson. Get this: I was the only girl in my class of seventh and eighth grade girls that knew what the Rapture was! Oh my gosh! How dumb?!
So, I was considering talking to my youth pastor about this. I'm naturally shy, and I don't like to put myself in that position.. but this is so annoying.. and a waste of my Sunday morning! So.. do you think I should speak to my youth pastor about this?
PS - I don't really get along with my teacher, I'm nice to her... but we don't get along. :\

Well maybe your church is in need of sunday school teachers and they let anyone join. I'm the sunday school helper and all our sunday school teachers are hardcore christians and stuff. You should talk to your pastor about it but talk to him in a friendly voice and respect what he has to say. You guys need to learn about stuff, and she obviously isint teaching you..so you should talk to your pastor and also talk to the other girls in the class. Ask them if they feel like their learning anything knew. And maybe they havent been taught the rapture yet, and its probabaly a good oppurtunity to tell them yourself you know? So speak to your youth pastor and maybe he/she will do something about it. Actually I think what would be better is talking to the head person/president of all the sunday school's. The person thats in charge of finding teachers, sunday school supplys, etc.

Q: i always seem to noitice that i don't tell anyone too much. i keep secrets to myself and i don't usu8ally like telling my nparents what goes on in my life. i always feel like i can't trust someone , no matter how close in am to them. and when i do tell someone something, i always seem to hesitat. Is this bad? What should i do?

It's both a good and bad quality to have. Good: Your friends can tell you secrets and you probabaly wont tell anyone. Bad: What if your going through a hard time and since you dont have anyone to trust..you dont talk to anyone about your problems. So then you try to help yourself but sometimes it doesnt always work out that way. Its fine for now but if you ever get in a situation where your in trouble and need help, you should talk to people about it.

Q: i have figured out what i have gotten for my other teachers except of science. but we took a final that empacted on our report card grade. but i am not sure if i did well on the test. what should i do to calm myself down?

Well finals impact your grade but usually only by one letter grade. You did your best and thats all that matters! Why dont you go out with someone to the movies or mall..or whatever to get your mind off of the final? Have some fun! Forget about science, its school! LOL. I'm sure everything will turn out okay. Okay, if your not allowed to go out you can still go out with him. You know? its not hard to hide it. Say your going to the movies with friends but instead, go to the movies with him. Or go on big group dates..with a bunch of people. Stuff like that. If you feel bad about lying, then tell him that your not allowed to have a boyfriend but you would love to be friends with him. im sure he'll understand.. good luck!

Tell him that you really like him but the distance between you two is killing you. Tell him so you could talk to him about it and hopefully figure something out. It''ll work as long as your both willing to do whatever it takes to make the relationship work. So talk to him about it and you'll figure out something together. good luck!

Q: ok... im dieing here... im not allowed on AIM and im not allowed to watch tv... ive been on this website like allll day and i can't take it anymore... its raining outside... and i don't no why im not allowed to watch tv or go online.. i was allowed on AIM for 15 minutes and thats it... i didn't do anything wrong... can someone give me ideas on waht to do? i have an annoying 11 year old brother and i don't wanna play with him... i can't even play video gamesss!!

LOL I know sometimes advicenators.com gets boring when your answering questions all the time. Just go on www.ebaumsworld.com --Its really funny and time will fly by fast because your watching all these funny videos and stuff. If your sick of being on the internet, play cards or write some poems, write a journal, heck even write a story if your that bored. Read a book...sorry if I didnt help much.

Q: I've been on advicenators for about 3 months now, and when I first started, my feedback rating would show up. you know like 4.79 or something. But now its not showing up. Is there an option i must select somewhere to make it show?
