ok so people told me that all 3 of the presidential candidates are Christian but (not trying to offend anyone here) how can you be a Democrat and a Christian?? Democrats are for stem cell research (using developing babies for science!! thus killing them, etc.) and they are for abortion (basically murdering a baby) and they are ok with gay unions and marriages and such. i mean those things definitely go against God!! its right there in the Bible!! im NOT trying to offend im just truly puzzled by how they can support this when it is so clearly not the wish of God. thank you :)

How do you make more memory on your computer? Not buy more memory, but like I want to run photoshop and I dont have enough (RAM) memory to run it, cause it keeps closing out and I get a pop-up saying something like "not enough (RAM) memory to run this program"

You will probably have to buy more. RAM is completely different from storage, deleting stuff won't improve your RAM. RAM optimizers will make it much worse. Read my article here for more info:

RAM is very cheap right now. You can easily buy 1GB, and maybe even 2GB for under $100. Buying some would be a good investment.

No. Even if someone begs to the police that they did it and should be locked up, there needs to be further proof. However, you don't need much proof after a confession.

What you eat doesn't matter when losing weight. It's how many Calories you eat and burn. Fruit and salad dressing has a decent amount of Calories, but if you eat too much you'll still gain weight.

Okay, its not really computers, but I keep seeing the commercials on american stations about the change to DTV. I live in canada, but like 85% of my television channels are american. So What I want to know, is if the switch thing is going to affect me. And if it does affect canadians, how does it affect them, and what do you need to do in order to ensure that nothing is going to happen to my television?

The change only affects antenna reception. Dish and cable are not affected. If you have that old type of antenna and your TV doesn't support digital, then the shows broadcast from America will not come in. You'll need to get a digital converter.

Ok, I have been having this problem with my PC and it seems to be getting a bit worse.
From time to time my computer randomly shuts down. It seemed to be caused primarily by graphics and video applications (e.g. games). In recent days however, it managed to do it with nothing running but Windows. That’s when it really bothered since it can interfere with my work.
Now, the odd thing is, it doesn’t fully shut down. The monitor goes to sleep, and there is no response from keyboard/ mouse, but I can hear that part of it is still running. The fan is still on for example.
Oh and just before shutting down it makes a short, stuttered noise.
I went online to try to sort this out and people generally pointed towards overheating issues. I monitored the temperature and that does not seem to be the problem. I am even running it wihout a cabinet as someone advised, but its hard to find a pattern to the crashes.
Any input will be much appreciated :)
Oh, I run a 2200 Athlon PC with 1GB Ram and an Nvidia 6600 graphics card if this makes any difference at all…
Sounds like a graphics card problem. Uninstall your NVIDIA drivers from add/remove programs, restart, and install the newest version from their website.
If that doesn't work, turn off and unplug your computer and open it up. Carefully remove the graphics card, and then immediately plug it back in. This is called reseating, and it ensures a proper connection. Turn your computer on and see if it works.
If that doesn't work, uninstall NVIDIA drivers and completely remove the graphics card. Your screen will be small, but it may fix the problem. If it fixes the problem(and I bet it will), either the power supply is supplying insufficient power for the card, or the card is overheating. Because of the sound you hear, I would guess the latter. After you've made sure that the PSU is supplying enough power, you'll need to replace the card. If it's under warranty, they'll do it. Otherwise you'll need to buy one.
If that doesn't fix the problem, then the PSU or motherboard might be malfunctioning, or the CPU might be overheating.

Right click empty space on your desktop. Go to new -> shortcut. In location, type exactly this:

Click next. Put whatever you want in the next box and press ok. A shortcut to paint is now on your desktop. You can drag the shortcut back into the start menu if you want.

Right click the type of file you want to be opened with something else and go to "open with...". This will either expand a new menu or open a window. If it expands a new menu, click "choose program".
From the new window, choose the program you want this kind of file to be opened with from now on, and check the bottom checkbox. Then press ok.
If the program is not on the list, click "browse". Microsoft word 2003 is by default located C:\program files\microsoft office\office11\winword.exe. Other versions will be in a similar location. Picture and fax viewer will be on the list.

i have windows media movie maker. and i have vista. on my old desktop (i didnt have vista) i made a video with my video clips and pictures and added music to it. now when i do it, my video clips dont show up when i click videos. then when i go to pictures to see if they are there, they arent even there.
If the audio files are not on your computer or not in the exact same location as before, then they won't be in the project. You will have to re-add them to the project.
