Before, when I opened the start menu, on the right, it would just show the icons of My Computer, Control Panel etc, but now it has text next to it too.
Is there a way to set it so it just shows the Icons without the text that says 'My computer' etc. ?

No. That's something the visual style author needs to do. Check to makes sure that Kemikalc2.msstyles (in the Kemikal zip) isn't a compact version, though. Sometimes authors will include both compact and normal.

Well, my computer has a problem where it randomly opens up a million myspace pages. Like, I'll be typing something up, ot even USING the internet and suddenly, it will start opening up myspace. It keeps opening up pages until I turn my computer off. and if I try to exit out of them, It replaces them rapidly. I don't have any idea why it does this but it's EXTREMELY annoying. Please help?!
Ignore Advicelady6798. If the problem happens on websites other than Myspace, your myspace account has not been hacked, and the amount of time your computer is off never changes anything.

is there a way to download google earth on xubuntu oor linux ive tried before but it came up as a binary file and didnt work when i tried to open it

I have a dell laptop it's not exactly a new model but it runs very well. My problem is with sites that you watch videos on or listen to music where it has to stream the video/music to the site. Anyway It's always really slow but there are occasional days where it's fast. Is there any way to make it where it's fast all of the time? Or is something wrong with my computer?

This is a problem with your Internet connection, not the computer. Wireless connections are by nature unreliable. The speed is very limited. If at all possible, you should connect to the internet using an ethernet cable. If you already are connected via ethernet, then it's your ISP's fault(AT&T, Roadrunner, Comcast, etc.). Call and complain.
You can improve wireless connectivity by being as close as possible to the wireless access point, and with the fewest obstructions.

Surgical steel is a higher grade of stainless steel. Silver is completely different. Stainless and surgical steel will not tarnish over time, but it's less valuable than silver.
Using steel instead of silver is like using zirconia instead of diamond. It can actually look better, but some people won't like it because it's not "real".

Is there a way to send a whole file folder as an attachment to an email? I have a whole folder of pictures that I want to send and I really don't want to attach them all separately...

Right click the folder and go to send to -> compressed (zipped) folder. A zip file with the same name will be created. This file acts like a single file, but it can be opened like a folder. Almost everyone will be able to open it.

I uninstalled internet explorer on my computer and deleted any folder that is named internet explorer. so what i did specifically was uninstalled every details that it could still have left. i tried to install it again because i had the ie installer downloaded and when i did it it says cannot install because it has detected a newer version already installed. but it cant be because i already uninstalled it. so i want to know if there is something i could do to install it back or is there some kind of error in my computer.
Install IE7. AFTER you've installed IE7 again, restart your computer and uninstall IE7 from add/remove programs to get IE6 back, but don't delete any folders.
If IE7 won't install, move the installer to your desktop and rename it exactly:
ie
Then go to start, run. Type:
cmd
Then, in the black box that pops up, type exactly:
cd desktop
*press enter*
ie -q
*press enter*
IE should now install in the background, without showing you any windows. It may restart your computer.

I am obsessed with making anime banners but without buying photoshop. I want to just download a program and then figure it out. Whats a good program for stupid people? Seriously i am banner retarded. So there's this new law that if they catch you downloading copyright videos or songs (limewire, etc.) or catch you uploading copyright video's onto youtube than they will be fined $500 dollars for songs and videos and $20, 000 for youtube video's.

so, i have been downloading off limewire for a couple years now and thats the only way i get songs, if there really is a law like that now, would i have to get all my songs off of Itunes??

That isn't possible in the same way as it was in XP. Standard users can't access anyone's files but their own. Administrators can access everyone's files, including other administrators.
So if you want to prevent other users from seeing your files, you must at least make their accounts standard(called limited in XP). You can do this from start -> control panel -> classic view -> User accounts. User account control must also be enabled. They will be required to enter an administrator's password to install programs and make certain changes.
Alternatively, you can use a third-part application like truecrypt to encrypt your files. This will prevent other accounts from seeing your files, but you must explicitly put files in the truecrypt volume. All of your normal files will not be encrypted. Download:
