Email question...

Question Posted Friday July 4 2008, 12:04 am

Is there a way to send a whole file folder as an attachment to an email? I have a whole folder of pictures that I want to send and I really don't want to attach them all separately...

I use hotmail and AIM for email if that helps.

Thank you!

I would zip the folder up and send with mediafire.com

then use that link in the email. much faster and email limits how much you can send. you can have as many 100mg files there as you want :)

Right click the folder and go to send to -> compressed (zipped) folder. A zip file with the same name will be created. This file acts like a single file, but it can be opened like a folder. Almost everyone will be able to open it.

If the zip file is too big to send via email attachment, upload it here and send them the download link:

Nope.
It's not possible.
Most mail servers can't cope with people putting a folder full of documents or like 30 pictures.
Sorry.
The best thing to do is upload them on a website like:
www.photobucket.com
www.flickr.com

You can upload multiple pictures to photobucket and it can be accessed by everyone, or just the people you want to be able to see them.
It's a good way to manage photos.

:)
