I had saved a file on my flash drive at my house and I needed to bring it to school. I didn't save it to my computer, also (stupid, I know.) So now I kind of misplaced my flash drive somewhere in my house. I tore apart my room looking for it and I just cannot find it.

So, my question is-- since I did access the file on my flash drive on my computer, and the file still is in my drop-down menu of recent files, is there a way to get at it even though I don't have that flash drive?

Its a Microsoft Published document, btw, and its saved under "J".

If you tried opening it, and it comes up with an error, there is no possible way to open it. Much like trying to open your D drive without something actually being in the disk drive.

Theres this guy and he always texts me in the morning saying things like "Good morning, cutie" and "Sweet dreams, beautiful." And in between texts we have conversations where hes always just throwing around beautiful and cutie and things like that. So my question is, what am I supposed to say back to that exactly? So I just got a new EnV phone, and after like every 5 seconds, when I leave it closed, the keyguard turns on! And I don't know how to make it so it stays off all the time. (unless I turn it on)

It's an automatic keylock that can't be turned off. I have a slider phone from Cingular, and the same thing happens when I slide my phone back down to it's original position. I asked the guy how to turn it off, but he said it's automatically done to prevent any keys being pressed without your knowing.

There's nothing wrong with your phone, it's just a new feature being put on phones.

On the first day back to school I'm going to make cupcakes and give them to my friends but how will i bring them to school so that it will: not be visible( which means stay in my pack pack so no other rude kid steals or damages them), not ruin their shape or form, etc?

Come in before school, and ask the front office if you can put it in the refrigerator in the teacher's lounge. Chances are, they will say yes. Use individual tupperware so it's easier to store. That's really all that I can think of.

I was at a party last night....
There was this kid there that I didnt actually talk to but I was talking to his friend. The reason I didnt talk to him because I guess I was shy or whatever, I dont know but man I dont know If I should add him on myspace or not. Because the thing is, I havent ever spoken to him before... and maybe he'll think like "who is this girl?" but then again... what's the wrong thing that could happen, right? ok so im 14/f and still TERRIFIED of the dark. every night when i go to sleep i imagine murderers breaking in and killing me. I don't watch scary movies anymore, just a few here and there. the old ones still come back to haunt me, i'll remember any scary thought when it's nighttime. the fact that my house is PITCH BLACK at night doesn't help at all either. i really really desperately need help, i'm scared to go to bed at night. i can't even get up to go pee because im scared the killer with "hear me". i want to use a nightlight, but i don't want my parents to think i'm a wuss, i mean i'm 14!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me find a way to be comfortable in my own house at night.

I understand EXACTLY what you're going through. When I was 12/13 [I'm 15 now], I couldn't even go upstairs and clean my room when I was home alone. It still takes some courage for me to do that. You might imagine murderers but I imagine rapists sometimes. It's hard since we're surrounded by news about Amber Alerts and young little girls being kidnapped [think Madeline McCann].

You have some options on what to do with lighting:
a] Keep the light on in your closet.
b] Get a small lamp and put it on the floor in the farthest corner in your room so that the light doesn't disturb you.
c] OR, get a Glade PlugIn that is basically a night light, but looks much better [your parents won't think you're a wuss].

Basically, you can put it on your night stand or your dresser, and your room smells good and it's lighted, but still gives you the ability to sleep without being interrupted.

Just remember that your parents are there, and the chances of a break in are slim to none. Also, ask if your parents can turn on the alarm system, and check all of the locks and windows to make sure that everything is safe and secure so you feel better before you go to bed.

Before you tell me to Google this rest assured I did. I couldn't find any answers that were easy to understand. I have a new Ipod Classic 80 GB. Everything is fine on it except that album art will not show up when I use Cover Flow.

First, could you please tell me why? Secondly in layman's terms could you please tell me how to resolve the issue? I would like it if you knew the "automatic" way of fixing this as I don't want to "manually load" them as that would take me forever. When there's 988 songs on my IPOD that just ain't practical.

I'm using Itunes 7.5 and that's where all my songs are stored in my music library on my MAC.

Go to Itunes, and click ONCE on the little picture of your iPod where it says [your name]'s iPod. Make sure that 'album art' is checked.

It might take awhile to load since you have 988 songs. I have about 350 songs, and it takes awhile to load all of the covers. Give it some time, and it might just show up on it's own. iPods can be laggy at times. When you're in cover flow, pictures of the musical note might show up for every single square, try scrolling through them as well.

I'm planning a trip to southern california for a vacation and i was wondering what are some of the cleanest beaches with also a lot of nightlife around? we're all over 18

I highly recommend Coronado Beach [in San Diego]. The beach is AWESOME and there is not a speck of dirt on it. It's really clean, and it's the cleanest that my family and I have visited. We had previously visited Imperial Beach, but it was dirty and filthy, so we drove back to Coronado. You can honestly find nightlife anywhere in San Diego.

If you're going with guys too, they will love the waves because they are huge and lots of surfers chill at Coronado. Buy boogie boards [roughly $20 at Walmart], and just lay flat on them with your stomach and ride along the waves. You'll have the time of your life.

La Jolla is about a 15 minute drive from the beach, and you can find great shopping there.

Have fun & be safe! You'll love Coronado and the rest of San Diego if you decide to go.
