when you look under "columnists" .. how do you get those stars next to your name?
you have to answer more and more questions and then the people who asked the question can rate you on a scale of 1-5, the amount of blue that's filled in the stars is the average rating.
I recently got my tongue pierced. I love it, but the thing is, my church and friends don't approve of it. How do I deal with those opposed to the piercing?
well you could probably buy those like clear fillers to put in your tounge so they dont really notice it as much, and if they still dont like it after that then theres not much you can do besides taking it out or keeping it (If it were me I'd keep it since you already went through with the pain of getting it pierced).
lol this might sound weird but I kinda want my tounge pierced too!! Did yours hurt a lot? I have my belly button pierced and I didnt think that hurt very bad, but I heard the tounge hurts A LOT! is that true??

you should be totally SURE if youre going to do something like having sex.. it has big consequences sometimes. Your young to be doing it also. Of course the final decision is going to be up to you but in my opinion I think you are too young. If your totally sure you want to do it, make sure you dont do it with someone 18 or older! you can get in trouuubbbllleee :) lol just be sure your TOTALLY ready before you do anything!!!

tell her that theyre completely normal to wear! A lot of people wear them. Ask her what it is about them that she doesnt like. I dont know how old you are but maybe she thinks your just too young or something? Explain to her that granny panties arent comfortable! if its a mole you can usually get it removed. Talk to your parents about looking into a doctor who specializes in that kinda stuff! :)

I went with my dad and when I showed her she said that it was fine, she just didnt wanna be there cuz she thinks it hurts. I didnt think it hurt that bad but whatever! Ask her what it is about belly button piercings that makes her not want it so much! if those ideas dont work try BRIBE! lol I know it sounds bad but sometimes it works. Tell her something like "how about you let me get my peircing and I'll clean the downstairs for a month!" ...or something like that! TELL HER HOW HAPPY YOU ARE! It's so much more fun to be happy than depressed! Talk to her and tell her that you care about her. Then if that doesnt work SHOW HER. Take her somewhere where you guys can have a realllllly fun time! I dont know what your into but I think amusement parks are always fun! Flirt! Thats the best way to tell him that your interested in something more. But dont go over the top crazy with it. Still be natural and act like you normally do. Keep being yourself because thats obviously what he likes! dont rush things.. keep them slow and things will turn out! If you really wanna know then you could be totally forward and ask him... but some people get nervous and dont like people being so forward because it puts them on the spot, and in an uncomfortable situation. For your face find a good cleanser that works! I heard that nuetragina (sp?) works really well. I use Arbonne and it works good, if you can find it! Also I bought the clean & clean acne spot cleanser but I havent used it yet... BUT it's supposed to work excellent!
For the teeth I would say the crest white strips.. but since you can get those then just whitening toothpaste. Also I saw an ad for a toothbrush thats supposed to help with whitening your teeth also!

Are you sure your bi? I mean you might just be curious so you want to experiment. A lot of teenagers do that in order to find out who they really are. If your looking for a woman then I'd suggest a chat room or something like that, with people that have the same interest as you
i was doing really well on a diet during the school year, but now that it's summer and i stay up later i normally get bored at night and want to eat junk food while i'm on the computer and stuff - how can i stop myself?!?
the problem your having is that your getting bored, and eating gives you something to do (plus its yummy!). The best thing to do would be to fight the urge or whatever. But I know thats hard to do -- I could never do that! What I do now is instead of grabbing chips or cookies grab fruit! I know it sounds corny but you end up getting used to it. Fruit is still good AND its healthy! The BEST fruit to eat (if you wanna stay skinny) is grapefruit. Theres something about the citris thats good... Also gum helps some people with cravings. Maybe it would help you? Hope I helped!

Why dont you try not to make it like a "date" cuz sometimes that adds pressure. Just act like you are with a group of friends, casual. You can add some flirting in there too since you like him and all, but just do what you feel comfortable with. Try not to be shy (I dont know if you are or not..) and I think it'd be good to ask a lot of questions.. who knows, you might find out a lot of cool stuff about him you had no idea about before!
