I hate where I live. The boys here are shallow, preppy, jerks with concrete for brains. I want a boyfriend really bad. Reccently, I've just been making up boyfriends because I feel so humiliated over the fact that everyone has one. Sure, there are boys here that like me and would date me in a heartbeat. ok me and this girl, Brittany, have been friends since about last year. we were unseparable. i mean like we told each other everything and spent time together whenever we could. now she is always seeming to find something about me she doesn't like. she messages me on myspace about it. then at school she doesn't mention anything unless i don't laugh every time she does one of her stupid sick jokes (sick as in...gross sick. ya.) and today i was in a bad mood so i didn't laugh. and she blew all up in my face.

i don't know what to do....im close to tears because im about to lose my bestest friend! i don't know if we can ever heal our relationship if she meant what she said in her message. i want to be able to forgive her if she didn't mean it...which she also says she talks behidn my back which i hate and she says she doesn't but shes obviously lying.

#2. she's not your best friend, she's not your friend. if she talks about you, that means shes not very trustworthy. and if she flips on you all the time for stupid stuff, she's not even worth your time.
i went through a situation like this and i stopped being friends with the girl because i couldn't but up with her making me upset like that anymore. so i told her i didn't wanna be friends with her, and she kept coming back and kept apologizing, but i blew her off. because people can say they are gonna change but they won't.
and if you are worried on what to tell people, just say that you couldn't put up with her anymore. and if they ask why just be like idk she was too moody.
but if you still wanna hold on to your friendship. just talk to her about it and give her another chance to change. but if she doesn't, she's really not worth it
For as long as I could remember, I've talked to myself (out loud). This may sound strange, but sometimes when I'm alone, I start having random conversations or debates. At times, I'll just start stating my thoughts out loud. I never, ever do these things around other people. In fact, no body would ever guess that I actually do talk to myself. I stop myself sometimes and wonder why I have such a habit.
I know that I'm a stable person, but I feel so
alone sometimes that I just start talking when no body is around. The thing is, that in the back of my mind, i understand what I am doing. I can bring myself to stop; it's not as though I have no control over this.

Alright, so I love my boyfriend very VERY much.. and I know that if I ask him if he wants to have sex, he'll say yes. Now, I want to and all, and I'm ready.. Buuuut.. I'm wondering about other people's opinion on having sex at a young age. I'm 15, he's 16, we're both virgins.. and we've been going out for 3 months, but we've known and liked each other for a year. We were best friends during all that time, and even if he weren't my boyfriend, I think I would have still had sex with him because we're just very close like that.

well if you feel ready and you really love him. then do it.
personally, i think you should wait. because your young ya know? and you've only known him for a year and you've only been dating for 3 months. so i mean maybe you should wait a couple more months because you never know how can it effect your relationship and stuff, so wait a little longer and make your relationship stronger. and make sure you really do love him, i mean it's not called "making love" for any reason. plus your first time is supposed to be shared with someone really special to you
but if you do have sex, make sure its safe!
sorry about not knowing what subject to put it under,, its kind of a random question. Ok so I am in middle school and am an OK student. I am the defintion of basic, ordinary teen. I am in the basic teen rut. Nothing special ever happens. I do,though, have one talent that sets me apart. I can write poetry. PLEASEEEE understand i am not trying to brag! In school when we have to write poetry, teachers are amazed. The thing is that i really, really like writing poetry. I feel great after i do. (My friends are not big on poetry, but they dont make fun of me for it or anything) The problem is that my life is so boring i have no inspiration for my poems. I can only write when i am inspired (I know it sounds stupid). Lately my poems have been the only things keeping me happy (I've been depressed--i dont know why) Please help me. HOw do i get out of the rut? How do i find insperation?

k well. i like to write poetry to. it helps get my feelings out. and when i was depressed i got inspired a lot cuz it was like healing ya know? so now i kinda find my inspiration from nature. like this weekend i went to nyc. and we went in Rockafellers building(i think thats what its called) and there you can go up 69 stories and go outside and look over the city, see the empire state building, the bridges. it was like motivational to me. so when i came home i wrote a poem about it. or maybe you have a certain crush you could write about. and maybe you can even combine nature and your crush in your poems!

So my cat won't eat her wetfood. She eats her dry food perfectly fine, and I have tried every suggestion my Vet told me, but nothing worked. Yet I heard (from a friend) that if cats don't eat their wetfood they'll die or something? I do find it somewhat ridiculous but it worries me. Is that true? If so, what can I do? If not, any suggestions to help my cat eat her food?

k well your cat won't die. some just don't like it. but yes the mixing of wet and dry usually does work and you have to do it for a while then just seperate the dry and wet. also, it could be the flavor of the food. my cat will only eat Whiska's wet food that doesn't have fish in it. so that may be it. but if she doesn't eat it, she will be fine, just make sure she drinks lots of water =)
i'm a 14 yr old female, and i am a freshman in HS. there is this guy, who I'll call Sean (16-17, junior) that i have liked since the beginning of the year, and i think Sean likes me too, because he's always teasing & talking to me with no reason. i was expecting Sean to do something for valentine's day, but he didn't...and yet he still keeps talking to me. why do you think he didn't do anything for valentine's day? because he's always acting like he likes me, then he goes and blows off the biggest love holiday of the year..was he just toying with me? i feel hurt and pathetic for even hoping..but I still like him a lot..

i have long, layered and straight hair. I always have it down and it's really boring. So what kinds of hair styles can i do to it? Srunching or curling my hair is really hard to do so if you do suggest it then you should give me intructions. Thanks!
alright well there's a ton of things you can do!
well you can curl it, and i have this thing i got at WalMart and its just a bunch of rollers and you heat them up for maybe 5-10 minutes and you put them in and let them sit for another 10 minutes, depending on if they are done or not. and they are different sizes so for the front you can have little curls and in the back you can have big ones, or vise versa whatever works for you. like i said its maybe 20 bucks at walmart and it works great. and also use hairspray while the rollers are in and after you take them out. and if you want your curls a little looser tip your head over and brush it that way lightly. and you can get your mom or sister or someone to help you
ok other ways:

Some of you might remember the question that someone asked about getting their tonsils out on Thursday. Well, I got them out to day. =]
My throat hurts so bad. It feels like there's a golf ball in my throat and it's really hard to swallow.
They gave me three different medicines and I took them all about an hour ago, but nothing has happened. If anything, I'm worse. They also told me to put a cold ice pack on my throat, but that's not helping so far.
Does anyone who's had their tonsils out know of anything that works to help stop the pain?
And what would be better to eat on the first day -- warm or cold foods...or does it matter?
well i had my tonsils out and i had like a warm water pack i put around my throat and it made it feel better. ummm maybe warm milk could help it or just regular cuz it coats your throat. as for foods. for the first couple days stick with ice cream and pudding and jello and popscicles. wait till you get the ok from your doctor to eat pasta and scrambled eggs cuz it might hurt your throat even more. feel better!
hey..im going into high school next year as a freshman...and im naturally shy and kinda a know-it-all sometimes...
im worried about friendships and other realtionships being strained....and how i will handle taking all honors classes...can anyone tell me how honors classes compare to regular ones??

k well i am now in 9th grade and don't worry about it so much. this is like the best year of my life. no lie. um honors classes tend to give a bit more homework then normal ones but people who are in honors say it isn't that hard. and if your worried about friendships like if you want knew ones join clubs or sports, my high school has so many clubs its astonishing. so just don't worry so much it'll be fun

This Thursday, I am getting my tonsils out at the ENT. I'm so scared though. Everyone is telling me that it hurts to bad afterwards and a bunch of other bad things. I can't even sleep because I'm so scared that something will go wrong. If I'm like this now, I'm going to be even worse the day of the surgery.
Does anyone know of something I can do before the surgery to help me relax about this? Or if you have had your tonsils out, what did you feel like afterwards and what all happened?

alright well i had my tonsils out and really the part that hurt the most was the IV. when they put the anestesia in though it felt cool =) when i woke it hurt a little but i was more confused. when i was in my bed i cried for no reason at all haha. it was kinda funny actually. but i didn't really feel anything until after i had left the hospital. but they give you medicine and stuff so it didn't really hurt, i was just tired alot. one time though my wound bled and i barfed up puke, and i know that may scare you but it wasn't bad, i just had an alergy type thing to the medicine and it made my wound bleed. so it probably won't happen to you. even my doctor said that that happens rarley. so there's really nothing to worry about. it is a common procedure that your doctor has probably done at least 1000 times. don't be so nervous cuz i swear you'll be fine, tell me how it works out
