i'm a 14 yr old female, and i am a freshman in HS. there is this guy, who I'll call Sean (16-17, junior) that i have liked since the beginning of the year, and i think Sean likes me too, because he's always teasing & talking to me with no reason. i was expecting Sean to do something for valentine's day, but he didn't...and yet he still keeps talking to me. why do you think he didn't do anything for valentine's day? because he's always acting like he likes me, then he goes and blows off the biggest love holiday of the year..was he just toying with me? i feel hurt and pathetic for even hoping..but I still like him a lot..
sorry, i asked this question before - but i only got one answer, and I really need some other opinions...cuz my friends are no help because none of my good friends are in the one class that i share with him so they don't know him that well.

Generally speaking, guys think valentine's day is about as important as Rhode Island. It could vanish and no one would notice.
Also, doing things on valentine's day like confessing love often seem lame or too typical for a lot of guys.
One totally, off the wall, ridiculous thing you might consider is making the first move.

well he's older so no offence but he's probably just leading you on. that's probably why he didn't do anything for valentines day. and you might just not see it yet cuz you want him too really bad because you like him.
but then again, he may actually like you, in that case, he was probably scared or he didn't know if you liked him and he didn't wanna seem like a dork.

hey, well if your sure that he likes you then maybe he was just scared to do something sweet for valentines day. since you guys arent an item, he was probably a) scared that he will push you away or b) scared of your reaction. you should ask him straight up if he likes you, whether its in person or on AIM.
