inspired
sorry about not knowing what subject to put it under,, its kind of a random question. Ok so I am in middle school and am an OK student. I am the defintion of basic, ordinary teen. I am in the basic teen rut. Nothing special ever happens. I do,though, have one talent that sets me apart. I can write poetry. PLEASEEEE understand i am not trying to brag! In school when we have to write poetry, teachers are amazed. The thing is that i really, really like writing poetry. I feel great after i do. (My friends are not big on poetry, but they dont make fun of me for it or anything) The problem is that my life is so boring i have no inspiration for my poems. I can only write when i am inspired (I know it sounds stupid). Lately my poems have been the only things keeping me happy (I've been depressed--i dont know why) Please help me. HOw do i get out of the rut? How do i find insperation?

Use your friends for inspiration! That's what I do when I write. :) Put yourself in their shoes for a minute and write about their life, their secrets, their goals, their drama, whatever. Because you can get kind of boring after awhile. :) Or you can pick a quality of one of your friends and write about that. This works with anything really ... celebrities, your family, your pets, who knows what you'll think of. ;)

Well I know what it feels like trust me on that at least you go to a school I'm homeschooled and I hate it. I'm always home I cant drive yet so yea. Well it is strange that you have to be inspired to wright poems I just really got into poetry and was actually really surprised I did not know I could do that good my girlfriend has to also be inspired and she loves it to. Its really awesome to wright a poem it feels really good to express yourself on a poem. Well I guess I could say that you have to inspire yourself like you do when you get inspired to wright a poem. You have to know how to inspire yourself in life. Get to know people get friends. Get to know guys date people maybe if you get a boyfriend he can inspire you. Live life how you want it to go have fun. Live life to the fullest. SHOUT! SCREAM! Do what ever you want to do but dont get in trouble. Well I hope you can handle all of that.LOL!! Well what you cna do, is write about your dreams, and aspirations of what you would like to be doing, or where you want to be in life. I know when I used to wirte, I used to write about that. You can also, read? I know I love reading, and I would write from their point of view how they handle their problems, it's a good practice untill something good comes up.

k well. i like to write poetry to. it helps get my feelings out. and when i was depressed i got inspired a lot cuz it was like healing ya know? so now i kinda find my inspiration from nature. like this weekend i went to nyc. and we went in Rockafellers building(i think thats what its called) and there you can go up 69 stories and go outside and look over the city, see the empire state building, the bridges. it was like motivational to me. so when i came home i wrote a poem about it. or maybe you have a certain crush you could write about. and maybe you can even combine nature and your crush in your poems!
