Question Posted Monday February 19 2007, 6:35 pm

"Let's consider the how and what you typically read. One important aspect of your reading is that you always have background information about the subject or at least a context in which to place it. When you read it's either a subject you're studying or an area or genre of personal interest. If it's for class, the book or article is in a subject you're familiar with, and your teacher has probably discussed the main points. If you're reading for your personal enjoyment, you're probably quite comfortable with even difficult material."

ok so with the quote above in mind, what are some good magazines or newspapers to subscribe to to learn about current events because i hate not knowing the whole story and reading some dude's opinion on something and looking stuff up in the dictionary every 10 words

are you talking about current events??? because if you are then things like newsweek is a good magazine. or i used to read all the articles on the front page of my newspaper and not the other ones because there the most important ones. but if you want stuff like celeb gossip i LOVE people or in touch magazine!!
