Hello, all- I'm Becky. I'm 16 years old but wise far beyond my years, so hopefully you can expect some good advice from me. Why is it that guys think that girls want nice jewlery or that they have to buy them it? I dated 2 guys who insisted they wanted to buy me nice neclaces but I'm not really into that kind of stuff and neither of the guys had the type of personalities where they would want to do that.

It's just something that gets imprinted into their minds- mostly from TV, books, movies, etc. - and the fact that actually a lot of girls really do like nice jewelry as gifts (myself included). I wouldn't get that upset if a guy ever gives you a nice piece of jewelry for your birthday or something. He's only trying to be nice- remember the phrase "It's the thought that counts"? Keep that in mind. If it really bothers you, when a holiday or something rolls around that calls for gift-giving, casually drop hints at a gift that you really would like- hopefully your guy will pick up on your hints, and then he'll fill good that he got to make you happy, while you'll feel good that you got something that you actually liked. okay so i've been looking for blue jean shorts like EVERYWHERE. you would think they would have millions out there but i've been able to fine NONE! not even at A&F. HELP!??!

Does anyone on here attend this college? If you do, then I need to know how much you pay for tuition because I live in Florida and I really like this college and want to attend, but how on earth am I going to afford it? I know I can apply for financial aid and scholarships, but I need to know how much you generally pay for tuition per year.

I want to lose weight this summer, and I also want to congradulate myself if I do. I was thinking that if I lost 20 pounds this summer I would alow myself to get my hair cut Scene.

I'd say losing 20 lbs. is a good goal. You aren't supposed to lose more than 10% of y our weight at one time, so you could theoretically lose as much as 22.3 lbs. and still be okay. And 20 lbs. over two months doesn't sound like too much, either- you are supposed to lose no more than 2 lbs. per week, so 20 lbs. in 10 weeks would be ideal, and 10 weeks is about (though maybe a teensy bit more) two months. As long as you lose weight healthily, your plan sounds great! Good luck. :]

Braids most definitely will not make your hair look like that; they'll turn it crimpy, crinkly, and frizzy. I gather that's not the look you're aiming for. :P

It's never required to use a condom. However, it's a very very good idea to do so. Even though you couldn't get pregnant during oral sex, you could still get an STD, which is something that a condom could help prevent.

In my opinion it kind of just happened out of the blue, but this is the way it all started out: Quinn's boyfriend, Mark, left her for some new girl. Quinn was obviously pretty upset about it, and she was sitting on a bench somewhere on the PCA campus crying, when Logan walked up and asked her what was wrong. She told him that she got dumped and was probably because she wasn't pretty enough, and then he was like, I think you're pretty, and then she said "Really?" And then all of a sudden they were kissing. It didn't really make much sense to me, because before that instant they'd never shown any interest in each other, but that's basically what happened. :]

HI i'm 17 years old and I just missed my period its about 5 days past when I should usually get it. I have been sexually active, but all times he wears a condom. I guess i'm probably not 100 percent sure that I am not pregnant.I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms. I don't think you should be worried just quite yet. Yes; it's possible that you are pregnant, because condoms aren't indestructable. However, if you haven't had any symptoms and it's only been 5 days, don't worry right away.

Yeah, probably sometimes. If they are just trying to manipulate the other person (for example, they might think "if I flirt enough with him, he might do my homework for me!") or if they're drunk or something. Also, they might just be naturally really over-the-top friendly, but it comes off as being flirty- I know some people who are like that.

I imagine it would probably jam your printer- line paper is much thinner than even the thinnest printer paper. It might turn out okay, but it'd be better just to not take the risk.

and it seems so impossible.

you have 5 barrels or hay. 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5. (you cant go like 3-2 or 3-4 cuase it means the same thing just the numbers flipped)
here are the weights of the barrels.
80, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 90, 91
the task is to figure out what barrel goes with what weight.
and i have no clue how to do that!
and i would google it but there is no way it would come up with an answer
