My mother recently went through surgery to have a cancerous tumor removed from her breast, so I know what you're going through. There's only so much you can do to help.
If you're a Christian, pray. Even if you don't think God is listening.
Check out some statistics, too. I read somewhere that if you catch it in time, you have a 95% chance of getting rid of breast cancer -- it's one of the easiest-to-remove cancers out there.

OK got a Terrior Mix puppy about a month ago. We've been training it to go outside the entire time. But it seems like at night he still has problems. When he potties in the floor, we spank him with a newspaper, and then take him straight outside. When hes good and potties outside, we give him a treat. But he still has accidents. Any suggestions on this? ty much.
Well, I know you're going to hate this idea, but you probably need to take him outside during the times when he usually has accidents. You says it's mostly at night. Try taking him out right before bed, and first thing when you wake up in the morning. If that doesn't work, you might need to take him out in the middle of the night. How about getting a dog door installed, so he can go when he chooses?

It's hard. But it's basically the same as going downhill, except more work because you're pushing yourself. Try doing the same general thing you're doing when you go downhill.

Okay, every single time I walk, my hip like pops. My dance teacher was telling us one time how hers began in high school and she recently had to have surgery. I realized mine is like that too now and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions? Anyone ever have this problem?
I haven't had the problem, but it doesn't really sound normal. I'd go to a doctor about it, just to make sure that everything's alright. It's probably better to catch this type of problem (if it's a problem) early on rather than years from now.

Well, I think that a difference that big will matter. You're going to have different interests, hobbies, et cetera. School is going to be SO different -- you're probably in middle school and this guy has eigher graduated, dropped out, or is in high school. So that would probably be a problem.
Also, if you're under 16 and you have sex with someone over 16, he can get arrested for statutory rape -- even if you wanted to have sex. If he's over 18, he can go to prison for 5 years.
I really wouldn't suggest going out with this guy. You should probably find someone closer to your own age.

My little brother suffers from an extreme case of obsessive compulsive dissorder and a short fuse. How do I deal with his upsetting behavior?
My brother has mild OCD, so I know where you're coming from. He also has lots of rage disorders. It's really been a lot of trouble dealing with his temper and all, but I've found a few things that help us both stay happy.
You should always make sure he knows that you love him, no matter what he does to make you mad. When he does something bad (my brother tends to throw things), don't tell him he's a bad kid. Ever. That really upsets kids like these. A good thing to do is to pick up on his behaviors. If he's constantly washing his hands, let him notice you washing your hands a few times a day. This lets him know that you're paying attention to him and that he's not all alone. He'll also probably realize that you're trying to make him more comfortable.
Try your best not to lose YOUR temper. I know it's hard sometimes, but you shouldn'tlose your temper because it tends to make situations worse.
I'm sure you've done all these things, but it's really all the advice I can give you. I hope I helped some!

Try some feminine wipes, feminine wash, or a douche. You can use the wipes every time you use the bathroom (this is especially useful when you're on your period). I think Playtex puts out a feminine wipe that's flushable. You can also try a feminine wash -- Summer's Eve has lots of scented (or unscented, if you're sensitive to fragrances) washes for that area. You just use it in the shower. If the odor is mostly during or after your period, you might want to try a douche. Check with a doctor first, because these can be unsafe, especially if there's a chance you could be pregnant. They involve sticking a nozzle-type thing into your vagina (it feels just like a tampon) and squeezing liquid from a bottle into your vagina. It's usually not too comfortable, to be honest. And I'd definitely try the feminine wash or wipes before I resorted to a douche.

i'm going into highschool as a freshman and for a couple of years now i haven't been doing that good in school. i used to be an honor student and then i got hit with depression really bad and my grades fell to C's D's and F's and i always had A's and B's. I've been struggling since last year to get my grades up because i want so badly to become a doctor and i can't get my grades up. my delema is that if i keep struggling i want to hire a tutor for myself. normally i don't care what people think about me but i'm not sure what people would say if they found out that i had a tutor. i don't want to feel stupid. what should i do to make myself feel better about this?
First of all, it's great that you're stepping up and trying to make this year better than others. I definitely think that if you're trying to improve your grades, you need a tutor. Who cares what other people think? You're going to get even smarter than you already are (and you're pretty smart for thinking of a tutor), and you'll get better grades. Well, I think that if you really love and care for this guy, you should go for it. But keep in mind that things might not go the way you planned. It seems like your family doesn't think highly of Kevin -- why? Did he break up with you? Cheat? Something else? Think of the reasons why you shouldn't go out with him again. Then decide if you truly want to put yourself at risk for heartbreak. You might just be setting yourself up. Don't rush into anything. Take it very slowly. Well, I think you might be a little of both. If you have a crush on a guy, and your friend dates him, sometimes it feels like the worst form of betrayal. I totally understand where you're coming from. But remember that just because he doesn't like you, doesn't mean he's not going to like anyone at all. You're not the only girl in the world. Not every guy you like is going to like you back. Truth hurts, but it is the truth.
If you really feel like your friend did something wrong, talk to her about it. Tell her that you really liked this guy, and that now she's doing something that's really hurting you -- whether it's on purpose or not. Make sure she knows that whatever she does, you're still going to be her friend. See what she says. Hopefully, she'll realize that friends are way more important than guys!
