Ive played basketball for many years and still do and the brand that ALWAYS works for me is Nike. Plus they have like a really good selection of shoes and u can go to like Footlocker or Dicks Sporting Goods and get them on sale. Hope this works out..

ok well tomorrow at 3 i am going to like a basketball pratice i dont know anyone there.. i am a freshman and this going to be my first time doing this. and well i am scared that one of the other girls are going to start stuff with me. i am not the kind of person that gets on peoples bad side but for some reason i am scared because today at the meetin at lunch i saw that soem of those girls had attitude problems. i just want to play the game nothing else. and i am also scared that i am not the best at it and they will make fun of me about it.. someone please help!

WOW..i was just like you last year. Im a sophmore now but last year..i freaked out cuz i thought all the girls were gonna make fun of me and not like me. But i LOVE basketball and they were not gonna stop me from playing. When you go to this basketball practice be nice to everyone..have a pleasant face and be open to contructional criticism. Let them kno that you want to be out there..and you want to improve your skills and get better. Also put on your A game..do the very best you can. people will start to realize that you work hard and are a nice person.

I love this guys and he loves me too. Hes so incredibly perfect for me and i want to be with him so bad. The only problem is he lives 2000 miles away! 2000 miles is very far away. Have u ever seen the Real World? Well if you havent..these 7 roommates get picked to live in a house..work together..and have there lives taped. Some of them are leaving their bfs/gfs behind. And has time goes on..theyre relationship starts to fall because they havent seen eachother in awhile..and theyre around other ppl.Its even hard for these 23 or 24 yr olds to keep up this relationship that theyve had. And when i watched that i realized..the percent of still going out when youre far away from eachother is slim. Now if you get a bf..yes you should tell him if you still keep in contact with him frequently. And he could have a gf..you know never kno how youll meet in a new place. My opinion..dont dwell on this guy. And when he comes back to see you and you guys still have that love..then its gonna be surprising and special at the same time. But for right now..if you wanna date someone..then go for it.

I haven't ever really played any sports but this year i am ready to try because i am finally in shape (i've ALWAYS been a big kid). I want to play softball but I have anxieities that i will let the team down because i've never played before. Is there anyone who waited till High Skool to pick up a sport and did okay?

Yes i know girls that are sophmores and tryout for bball even tho they didnt try for sports teams in the past. But you cant just tryout and not be prepared. If you want to play..you need to practice. Like maybe practice with your parents or a friend. There are only a few ppl who can pick up a sport like that. So be prepared. Good Luck

That is a tough situation because when you ask out your friend..its taking a chance on your friendship. You gotta ask yourself two questions. Do i wanna risk my friendship with her and if she likes me..will it be weird to date. Because when most friends date and they break up its too weird to be friends again because you guys have taken that relationship past the friendship level. Its easy going forwards with a relationship..than taking a step back. But if youre willing to do this. Call her up or talk to her in person and just tell her how you feel..and that if she doesnt feel the same way yall can still be friends. The best relationship are when youre friends first. So if you really liek her..GO FOR IT! Also if you wanna kno if she likes you..get a friend to ask her about you without making it obvious.

My friend is a lesbian and it was hard for her to tell people. But what she did was meet up alone with each of her closest friends..and tell them. She talked to them about how she felt and that she wasnt attracted to ne of us. Now telling people that youre a lesbian is a risk. Some people just dont accept it and some of your friends might not want to be friends with you nemore. But dont worry this is a normal problem and youre not alone. If you talk to each of youre friends then theyre gonna get a better understanding of how you feel about this and where youre coming from. Let them kno that its hard for you to tell them this..but that you had to do it. Good luck and if you need nemore help..ask on here

Ha..im 15 and still hasnt really made out with neone. I kissed a boy but not makeout. And i havent had alot of bfs..soo thats not bad at all. Some girls just dont want a bf and thats fine. And it doesnt matter wat age you are wen you get your first kiss. Youll find a guy that you really like and youlll kiss him and itll be special. So dont worry..youre not alone!

I used to be alot like you. Even tho i didnt go to an all girls school..i was a tomboy and never really went out with ne guys. But dont think that guys like girly girls..cuz they dont. Guys like girls that can hang with them, that are outgoing and easygoing. So if you can do that..then theres no problem with you getting a boyfriend. And sure youre a little muscular but most guys dont like really skinny girls neways. What you need to do..is be flirty and confident. If youre not flirty and confident then most guys wont find you appealing. Also..when youre oging out with friends and see a hot guy that you want to talk to...TALK TO HIM. Be confident and walk right over to him and start talking. Like lets say you go to the mall..and you see this one guy at a sports store..walk right up to him and be like "thats my fav team too..or you like that team..well i like...blah blah" If you do that then theyll start talking bac. Also wear something cute..and do your a hair little. TRUST me it can go a long ways.

I finally got the courage to. I just went for it..i didnt kno what was gonna happen..all i knew is i really liked him. You need to go for it. If you dont then youll never know what could have happened. If he does like you great..you guys can hang out all summer and have fun! Im a 14 year old girl and last year, my cousin broght his best friend to one of my family pool partys. My cousins a year younger than me, but his friend/neighbor was my age. We talked all night and had a great time. We hung out other times too and became best friends. We've been going out for 9 monthes now but my cousin HATES it! At first he was makin fun of us, but he's been trying to break us up ever since. I'm not trying to take my bf away from my cousin, but my cousin thinks i am. I love my bf soo much and i want to spend as much time with him as i can, but i do let them hang out alone sometimes. My bf is getting kinda pissed at my cuz and he'd rather b with my sometimes, but my cuz is soo pissed and he like treats my bf like shit when hes soo nice to him. Well..first of all the reason why your cousin is doing that is because he's jealous. Not like your cousin wants to date you..but hes jealous because now he has to share his friend with you. He seems territorial and wants your bf to himself. What you need to do..is have a little chat with your cousin. You need to tell him how you feel about the situation. Dont get mad at him..be really nice.Also another suggestion is..get one of your girl friends..and go out on a double date. This way..your cousin has a girl..and his friend at the same time. A really good friend of mine is going to the movies with this guy,tomorow, and i know all there gonna do is make out and touch eachother and stuff, it happened last time. Well my advice is bring one of your other girl friends..if u cant find a guy to go with. And if you dont wanna do that..i suggest you just dont go at all..because ive been in a similar situation and its really weird being there while theyre making out n stuff. Sit ups and crunches. They say if you get your abs stronger your back wont hurt as much. I recommend you doing this because i have scolios and its helps me.

I am about 15 years old and I have had a wierd sweating problem since about the beginning of 7th grade (and im a 9th grader now). I have tried almost 10 different types of deoderants/anti-perspirant including mens. I tried certain dri and the Aluminum Chloride(Hexahydrate) that i got prescripted. My friend uses the prescripted stuff aswell and she says it helps her and she never sweats, but ive been using it since last year and it hasnt helped me. Have any ideas? (link)

YOu need to go to the doctor for ths..my friend has your problem and she has some kind of sweating disease. Her hands are really cold and sweaty all the time..and she sweats in the weirdest places. Its normal though..dont worry.

There is a new girl in my school. She was recently expelled from her Catholic school because she got an abortion. One of my friends was friends with her for a while since they lived near eachother and now she's coming to my school. I have my opinions about alot of things and abortion I have a very strong opinion about it and I'll argue my point until my face is blue. I'm 1000% against unless you were raped or you are having difficulties with your pregnancy and it could cost you your own life. Just by knowing this, I already do not like her because of that reason and that reason only. My friends all know that if they were to get pregnant and get an abortion, I would probably never speak to them again. I am not a virgin, but I do know that if I was ever to get pregnant, I would never get an abortion reguardless of my situation. I just think it's wrong. But please, do not bash me because of my beliefs just answer me this, could you at the very least understand why I wouldn't want to be friends with her? Is it wrong for me to feel this way? (link)

Its not wrong..i understand completely but i disagree with how you handle it. Just because someone does something that you are completely against doesnt mean you cant be friends with them. Its alot like religion i think..i have a friend who is athiest and im christian but..i dont diss her and never want to be her friend just because i disagree in what she believes in. There are gonna be alot of people in your life that you meet along the way that have different opinions on some subjects than you have. But that doesnt mean theyre are a BAD PERSON and you can never be friends with them becuz you never know..this girl that had this abortion could be a nice girl and you guys could have a good friendship. I havent bashed in what you believe i just think you handled this situation wrong. You wouldnt be second guessing on how you handled this situation if you didnt ask this question.

Ive had this problem before because im 15/f and there are alot of hott guys at this one school that i have a great time with but at my school theres no one..theyre all players. But..you dont have to go to that school so you can hang out with these hott gurls and start relationships with them. Its better that you dont because everytime you see these girls now..its special..and they are prolly excited to see you because you dont go to there school. If you start to like one of these girls its okay to go out with them..she doesnt have to go to your school. Its better that they dont go to your school..because now everytime you want to hang out its special and exciting becuz you havent seen her in like a week! You may have to drive a little bit to see her but trust me..those relationships are way better than the ones with girls at your school!
