Ok so i have scoliois. my curve is somewhere around 50 degrees. my back always hurts because of this..is there anything i can do to make my back not hurt as much..or often? thanks in advance! ill rate you!

I find that basic things start the pain of, like carrying a heavy schoolbag around school or sitting on a hard stool with no back in it to support you. Don't sit up against radiators, as the heat softens your spine even more creating more pain. Try not to slooch (can't spell) over when walikng or sitting keep your shoulders back and when sitting lean back and sit in a comfortable position according to your curve. Just out of interest are you consious (can't spell once again) of your curve?

cUrLyHaiReDcUtiE16 answered Friday April 22 2005, 5:18 pm: heyy .. uhh being active with a sport that has a alot of streching will losen up your back some good things to do to losen up it is ballet gymnastics or even cheerleading sometimes mauybe even track just get actvive and strecth ALOT or sometimes even a cold ice pack or a warm heating pad might help sorry i couldnt be much a a help
