Q: Okay, so my mother is allergic to everything except like...20 items total on this planet, and is extremely against all forms of chemicals such as nail polish and hair dye.
HOWEVER...
My roommate got a free salon-type-thing from her boyfriend, and on it, it says you can bring a friend, so we kinda decided she was bringing me...Lol. So we're getting our hair done this weekend.
I'm thinking
Thinned, re-layered, Cut a liiiiiiiiittle longer than shoulder length (or exactly shoulder length, not sure), side-sweeping bangs.
Now here's the hard part.
I kinda wanna get highlights. I'm thinking brownish red highlights 'cause I do have red in my hair.
My mother, however, would MURDER me if she saw highlights in my hair or knew that I borrowed my roomie's shampoo to see what effect scent had on my hair.
What do you guys think I should do? Should I get highlights anyway and beg them to make them as not-noticeable as possible? Or forego the highlights and possible making-worse of hair until I'm far away in grad school?
Should I ask them if they have temporary dye so I can see what they look like?
Opinions, please. ^_^

i think you shold go ahead and do it. your old enough to make your own dessions. no make them how you want them to look.

Q: Okay my hair has been through hell. My original hair color is brown. Then I dyed it really dark, then light, then dark again. Then got it cut which took alot of the darkness out, then dyed it blonde, and then i took the blonde out of it..which left it light brown. Also I put a perm in my hair a while back, then wanted it out so bad because it was making my hair look so dry and damaged. My hair used to be real short, but in about a years time it has only grown from above my chin to my shoulders. It is so unhealthy at the ends, especially when I tried to take the perm out with a relaxing creme, and when I tried to wash the creme out the ends feel out, globs of hair came out, I was terrified. Now it looks so fried, and I have to straighten it for like 30 minutes just to get it from being all frizzy and damaged looking. I even trimmed it, but the damage comes back... I was wondering what products could I use to fix split ends, breakage, and dull looking hair? I have tried infusium 23, pantene pro-v, garnier fructics, I have also tried hot oil treatments, conditioners, and leave in conditioners....nothing works...

well i think go back to the pantene pro-v shampoo and conditioner. now i think you need to use this for awhile like 3 weeks and hopefully your hair should be fine

well if you really want to be like them , dress like them and act like them, even talk to them, but if i were you id just be myself and dont care about being popular but thats just me

i think you could find a good dress at debs, i was 10 and my cousin and i had helped a senoir find a dress.
anyway back to the topic i would go to all the malls around and look at all the stores.

Q: I have a big problem with thinking i am FAT! I'm 5'5 and i weigh 119.5! So I dont eat alot. My boyfriend worries about me an tells me if i dont go to start eating right then he was gonna tell someone. I went to the doctor to get my physical for cross country an he pushed on my tummy an asked me if i ever ate an i said sometimes an he said do you have an appitite an im like not really an he said that he could tell that i hardley ever ate by pressing on my stomach! I wanna eat but i get too full soo easy! what should i do?

Q: 5's go out to any honest suggestions!

I got an mp3 player gadget that can hold 2,500 songs, I'd like to put as many songs on it as possible. Problem is that even tho I like TONS of songs, I can only think of about 12 off the top of my head.

The only music that I really can't stand is death metal and country but I'm open up to any other suggestions you guys can share.

I want songs, not sites where I can get them, just songs. Please provide artist AND song title but it's not necessary to have both, just easier for me. THANKS for the time your time!

Q: There is this boy and he sits behind me in home and careers, reading and writing and he sits across from me in math and social studies.

He annoys me so much and I'm not allowd to change seats.

What should I do??

He curses me out all the time I just want to strangle him or my self.

i suggest to the teacher that he is really bugging you and ask if you can change seats again!
if that doesnt work ask your mom or dad to talk to the teacher and let your parent take it from there!

Q: ok im 13/F and my school dance is coming up, it's on friday 9/30/05 and i really want to go and a lot of ppl want me to go but my friend Halle wants to come over my big nice new house cuz i moved in a couplle weeks ago and all,well me and her have been planning for her to come over for over a week now and i really want her to come over but i really want to go to the dance on friday.the dance is 7:00 to 9:30 and her mom won't drive her over to my new house because it's dark and she won't be able to follow the directions that my mom has or will be giving her. I dont know what to do,what should i do?¿?¿? can someone please help me i rate 5's on good advice.

we if i were you i would tell your friend that the school dances only come once a month ( they should) anyway then tell her that all your friends expect you to go and then apologize to her and ask if she can come over another day.

Q: Today i rean 9 laps (2 miles and a lap/ 1600 meters)in 30 well a lil under but basically 30 min. Do i have a good endurace or what?

Q: ok i'm soon to be 16 and i known this guy for about three years and he's really nice to me and everything then we both met each other at a party over the summer and me and him were dancing together all night and his ex girl friend was there and she was getting mad at me for dancing with him and i like him a lot and he likes me a lot but we're not going out i told every one at the party that we were going out, (like messing around), and telling everyong that we are going to get married the day i turn 16 but i didn't mean any thing i said. but now he's the only boy i think aboout now and i can't stop thinking about him we supposed to hang out this weekend and mess around and stuff but i think i love him if you were in my position what would you do? what would you consider this?

if i were you i wouldnt mess like that saying about him and you but i would still mess about other things but anyway back to the topic i suggest you just be yourself this weekend and if you want to express a little that you like him then go on ahead

Q: i know this guy and i think he is hott but he is one of the ones that you might not want a relationship with. But this has turned into a life or death situation. Today in 9th pd. he was all like "shit, ive been turned down way too many times and its pissing me off. I cant wait till i get home so i wont have to live this fuckin' life ne more." those were his exact words. Q: My best friend always gets into arguements with her dad. And now she wants to move back in with her mom. And that means she'll be switching schools, and moving like 30 minutes away. And I don't know what to say to her. I want her to stay, and I've tried everything to get her to stay. Can someone please help me with this? I really don't want her to leave me. Because if she moves, my other best friend is going to move schools to a Lutheran school because she doesn't want to deal with having her move... What should I do?

ok i have divorced parents. so i cant really tell you to try and make her stay. i think you should just let her go ahead and move to her mom's house.
but, i think you should ask her if you guys can write each other each day and if you guys can talk on the phone or internet each day so that way you can still keep in touch.
also you guys could set up a fun day on the weekends on like a staturday so you guys could go see a movie or crash at the mall or go to a school football game. I know its hard to let your best friend go!

ok i think you should talk to her tell her she should tell what really happens and if not happened then tell her to tell something thats better that is true.
