froggy1983 answered Tuesday September 27 2005, 1:38 pm: I use finesse and it really helps. try it and see what happens. It is like four dollars or more at price chopper, hannaford and even more than that if you go to a drug store. But you can get it at walmart for two something. good luck. FunnyCide answered Monday September 26 2005, 9:02 pm: Try using a flat iron with ceremic plates (it helps a little). Though, for the heat damage, go with something from Aveda. They have a shampoo / conditioner set for EVERYTHING. Seriously, split ends, dry hair, curly hair, damaged hair, straight hair, thick hair, thin hair - you get the idea. I use the moisturizing stuff because I straighten my hair frequently also. I use the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner from VO5 (mixed with Aveda) to make it last longer. VO5 isn't GREAT shampoo/conditioner, it does the job though - whereas Aveda is GREAT shampoo / conditioner, but can be a bit pricey; which is why I mix them to make it last longer. :)

Mollysie answered Monday September 26 2005, 8:24 pm: Oh my gosh have I got answers for you! :) I have naturally curly hair! It stinks! I straighten my hair every morning. But what I found is that a shampoo called Infusium works really well to like not have the frizz so much. Then they have leave in treatment get the spray bottle kind and just use it when you get out of the shower! I works really well I have recomended it to all my friends! ;) Good Luck!

KatLynn answered Monday September 26 2005, 8:22 pm: You need to use a ceramic straightener if you straighten that much. And if you do use one then most of the damage is split ends and you can get split end serum for that. That's all that i do when I straighten my hair and it's cut down on the damage. What I have learned, though, is that you don't need to straighten it everyday. A lot of girls look better or just as good with their regular wavy hair. I only straighten my hair when I'm going out to a party or something important; not a normal day of school. [ KatLynn's advice column | Ask KatLynn A Question ]
IxAmxCrying answered Monday September 26 2005, 8:18 pm: Well, I don't know of any specific shampoos or conditioners, but when I straighten my hair, I apply a product by Matix, that helps moisturize the hair. You spray it in your hair just before you straighten, but after you dry it, and it locks in the moisture so when you do let it warm up it stays in the hair.
