ok! i did the whole virus scan & it said nothing was detected, but i didn't turn it off er anything, because i was doing stuff. is that neccasary? like if i turn it off & then when i turn it on i do have a virus er something like that?

No. Viruses are attained through web pages, and do not spontaniously appear if you turn off your computer. Web pages or files, I should say.

No, you should turn it off just because it's safer that way and you can't spread it to other people. If the scan doesn't say anything, you're probably fine.
