Uhh this is an awkward question, but for those females that go to the gynocologist for birth control and such, do you shave or not? Also, what is the process like? I'm going to get birth control soon so I'd like to know how it will be so I'm not shocked or anything.
Okay i just recently got my first one a little while back. So you go in and they tell you to put on the smock or what not. Then they check your breasts for lumps basically telling you how to do it for yourself. Then they tell you to put your legs in these metal things that connect to the chair and then you have to move down closer. Then they simply put a metal almost like a piece of silverware in your vagina to spread the lips and muscles. Then they stick a little tool in and pull off a little piece of your cervix and put it on a slide so they can look at it. Then they just put some petroleum jelly on there hand and insert it to check your ovaries. Thats all its painless. All you feel is pressure. You dont need to shave at all if you want to thats fine but they see vaginas all day long and they've seen them all. Dont worry about it.
Ok, thanks for the advice on wearing tampons. I have another question though. I am using tampons with a regualar absorbancy and when i take it out, there is still white showing on the tampon. But also, when i wear a pantiliner with a tampon, i usually get some blood on that so why is it getting on my liner but not all the way on my tampon? I am going to the beach this weekend so i will be wearing a tampon but i CANT get blood on my bathing suit and i usually get it on my liner when wearing a tampon even though there is till white showing on the tampon. What do i do?
Well.. Heres my best ideas to try and help you. So maybe it is that your not getting it completely in. Make sure that its in the part that the penis would go into. I know its a little bit wierd but make sure that the applicator ( the plastic or cardboard kind) is basically in so your fingers are at the entrance of it when your taking the applicator off. Another good suggestion some people like the cardboard applicators but i prefer the plastic ones try maybe tampax pearl. Because it slides in and it is alot easier to use. Now the fact that you dont cover up all the tampon is normal maybe you should look into tampax pearl light super and normal (all in the same box) only because the days that are slow flow you can use the light ones. Try that with a liner and if you dont get blood on it then that means you put it in far enough. Dont put it in so far that it hurts just enough so that your fingers are at the beginning of the entrance. Good Luck If you need anything else message me

I just started using tampons a month or two ago. At first i had a problem inserting them. Now i can but it takes me at least 5 minutes to put one in. Another thing is that when i take it out, it hurts. I don't know why because i usually leave it in for 5 hours which should be enough time for it to soak. I am going on a trip this weekend and when we stop at rest areas i dont want to take a long time taking it out and putting one in and i really don't want to wear a pad. It takes me a long time to take it out also because it hurts. It takes me on average about 7- 10 minutes to take the tampon out and to put one in. What should i do on the way to where im going? Why is it hurting so bad for me to take the tampon out when i am leaving it in for 4-5 hours and my flow is not really that light? Thanks!
Well heres some key things to remember about your vagina. Its really fragile. With tampons they can be great but also be very frausterating. You need to put them in the same way you take them out. You also need to be relaxed. If your feeling nervous or rushed it will hurt. When you pull it out you need to probably spread your legs more also try and calm down breath and chill out. Well i always tell everyone to have good communication with people. If you cant talk to someone about what you want to do then why are you even doing it right? I think that if you dont feel comfortable talking to them you can always just go for it maybe by putting his hand where you want it seeing where it goes. Also putting your hand places then moving them. Also if you want him to do something to you you should do that to him he will hopefully catch on and do it back. Good Luck

Well all guys are different. Um some do look at it. Some just do it and not look. Some like to wipe it off some just like to use there mouths its all about preference every guy is different. When im on my period its USUALLY ok, but sometimes the pain is UNBERABLE
i woke up about FOUR in the morning, with aching in my legs, PURE AGONY!! My stomach was just SO sore, and was thumping.I couldnt lay in a position - it was just too painful. I then threw up, tried to stand up but kept falling over because my legs were to sore and weak. I then sort of fainted and then got so hot the sweat was dripping off me and i had to wipe it away..
this happens a few times on my period and its such an unbearable pain.
My question is WHY would this happen? && How can it get better?? I don't really like doctors...
My only advice is this. Try and take some high dose ibuprofen before you go to bed and when the pain starts this way it doesnt get worse. Also you may want to see about getting some heating pads too for the pain these you can get at any store walmart, rite aid. If the pain doesnt get any better instead of putting yourself in danger you should go see a doctor. I know it is uncomfortable but they maybe able to put you on birth control or something to keep them normal. Good Luck

Well you could try a type that requires like nothing maybe like one of the shick intuition ones and stuff like that you could also try veet or something but i think that nair is going to burn. I hope this helps
I just cheat on my boyfriend. Not like sex or anything, i'm only 14. I kissed someone else today. We both went to hang out, knowing we liked each other, and ended up making out. I feel that you need to tell your boyfriend that you cheated on him. It is wrong for you to continue your realationship as if nothing happened. Take her out on some "dates" before you actually ask her out. Ideas for some dates are like movies or an amusement park or maybe bring her to the ocean or somehting and when there is a sweet romantic moment maybe like when it gets dark or like theres a cute part of the night then you ask her once you find out if she likes you too. I know how bad acne sucks but something that works personally for me is Clearisil Acne Vanishing cream it really works it drys them up and all. Also maybe use an acne pad closer to the night time after your day is over. Good Luck

They do make a product something about cocoa butter i think. there are some commercials for it maybe you could look into getting that. also next time you go to the doctors you could ask them about it they do have almost like a cream to put on it that they can give you. i hope this helps
i accidentally got a little red sharpie on my bathing suit, i really dont know how hahha. but how would i go about getting rid of this? the bathing suit is striped (blue, green, and white) and the sharpie is on the white. thanks!
You could try nail polish remover. it still might not work to take them out but at the same time it might. Try it see what happens. other then that i have no clue what will work for sharpie. Sorry good luck

I think communication is the best thing in this situation. Im very open with my fiance but that could also be because im his fiance but i think that you need to tell him about the symptoms and what your doctor says about it. Hopefully he will be understanding. if not tell him that you can do something to him or maybe just wait. hopefully he understands and either does it but is just careful and doesnt care that your bleeding. i hope that helps

Im not sure how well they work but there are types of conditioners and hairspray sort of things that say glow on them and like shiny stuff or you could try maybe just stuff that says shine and see if that works.
I have been going through bra's like nothing.

This is normal. You grew fast at your age but hardly anything to be ashamed about. As for growing, you cant determine that nothing can. You could stop growing for years and then continue or you could just stop all together. Dont feel weird that your a C and your friends are A's or that your a tomboy. Its something you cant control and you shouldnt be worried about them. As for the cleavage i know that it might not fit your body type but maybe buy bigger shirts. And if your okay with the cleavage then dont change how you dress. Hope that helps

I have a hard time expressing when im upset and stuff too. I act like nothings wrong. I thikn you should say yes to marvin, i think that you should tell him when something is wrong and i think that you should just say forget what other people think and do what you feel is right. I think that you should just talk to him about it maybe tell him over dinner or something sweet and if it turns out you dont want to be with him then maybe you should just tell him that and stop avoiding it. Although i dont really believe that anyone needs them i think you just need to eat right and excersize but if thats your decision. I think that you need to be 18 to purchase most of them because of the powerful stuff in them. But most stores that sell them could probably tell you at the pharmacy if you just ask them. Well, waxing and shaving get the point across of there being no hair. Maybe another solution is the products that are like nair but they remove hair without waxing or shaving i think that waxing hurts and i dont really like it only because i would rather shave and have less pain. and if your with someone whom loves you it shouldnt matter if you have red bumps or even if you shave. Okay well this isnt a problem at all.. the key to any sexual encounter of any sort (including kissing) is doing what feels natural. This is very easy as long as your relaxed. Now he might guide you onto how to do this and in that case he might ask if you dont know how to kiss but it turns out okay. because if he really likes you or loves you he will be cool with fact that you dont know how to kiss. So you just open your mouth and put your tounge in and almost massage his tounge like an your licking an icecream cone. hopefully this helped
