Hi guys! My name is Ally and I'm 14. My first name rhymes with my last name. I am full on italian and proud.I love making people laugh, and I hate war & fighting. I also hate bullies because they think they're so much better then everyone else. I love to sing, act, and dance, which is why I want to be on Broadway when I grow up :). Ok I just realised my straightner broke...not that I'm a prep or anything. I have 'wavy' hair and it's a bit straight so I don't need one that bad but I have to go to holliday in 5 days and I really want to carry one. Mine didn't break that bad thooough but I really think a new one wuld be best...
Which shoould i get or do u think i shuld jus buy one where I go? Do yu think i shuld get one at all cause this one woorks still?
Honestly, you should throw that one out because
1) It probably doesn't work as well
2) It could really damage your hair.
Do you have a hairdresser whom you go to all the time? You can ask them which kind would be good for your hair. That's what mine did and he ordered it for me..but that also might take to long.
You could get one at your local drugstore (CVS, if they have them where you live.) I guess if you have thick hair, get a big one. If you have thin hair, you should really use a thin one. If you have like in between, I guess it's ok to get a thick one. You could also ask your mom what kind to get.

Okay, my sister installed Windows Live Messenger and I hate it! It's slowing down the computer and has tons of features I hate. How do I uninstall it so I can use an earlier version like MSN 7? I can't stand this one!

I am going to a big concert tomorrow at the Madejski Stadium in Reading, England. My problem is that 28, 000 people are going and the weather is forcast to be incredibly hot tomorrow. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into the stadium and I'm worried that I'll pass out or something from dehydration. They do sell their own refreshments but as 28, 000 people will all want water, it's going to be difficult. Is there some sort of special circumstances where you are permitted to bring your own water into the stadium in hot weather? If not, has anyone been in this situation before and know how to get round it?
Whoa that's soo stupid!! Do they check your bag before you get in? If they don'tjust hide some food in like a big purse or something you know? Or bring a cooler of ice, that's not food or water, it's just sometihgn to cool off with. (That could be too risky, though.) Are you going with a guy? Guys have big pockets in they're shorts where you can put water bottles and stuff..uh... let's see...you can bring like an ice pack (pick one up at a grocery store or something..sorry I don't know the grocery stores in england!! haha.) If you aren't worried about lying or something you could just say that like you have a condition where you need to get dehydrated every 30 minutes.
You really need to compain to the Madejski about bringing your own food because that's just so gay.

Yeah but it wouldn't really work. like the person below me said, a glass is so much better.
As for anything else, I know htis sounds totally stupid, but they actually have these toys where you pp[ut head phones on, and hold this thing up to the wall and you can hear. My friend's sister had it. It was so cool, haha. They probably have them at your local Toys R' Us! I guess you could use that.

My best friend and I were so close at the end of the school year and actually since last year. I love her so much and trust her with everything and we are crazy together, aka we are best friends. Now that it is summer she is always off at camp or at her boyfriend's house. I have been busy too (with other friends and my horses and stuff) but I always get the time to call her. She usually only talks for a few minutes and then goes to her boyfriend's house. I just don't want our friendship to fade and, at the end of the school year, she told me that I had better keep in touch over the summer. It isn't as if she is my only friend by a long shot but she is one of the best I've ever had. I fricken love that girl so much. What do I do?
This is happening to me as we speak, so I know how you feel. The simpilest thing to do is during one of you phone conversations just be like, Hey blah blah blah. I have something really imprtant we need tot alk about ( To get her attention.) and tell her that you two need to set up some time together. Good girl to girl best friend talk is always good for you! If she doesn't like the idea of spending some time away from her boyfriend, then either A: tell her that it's just one day (And try to make that day awsomely awsome, so she'll want to hang with you more.) or B: as the person below me said, maybe

ok well over the last few days i got a really bad sunburn! but only on my face well now its staring to peel! and now i have like light blotches everywhere!!! all over my face! does any1 know wut i can use to get rid of it???

Hm..well first off let me tell you that peeling only occurs for like, 1-2 days, so don't be worried.
As for getting rid of it, you really can't. Just peel off the flakey dead skin (ewww haha.) The best thing you can do is to rub lotion on it. (no specific kind, just anything you have around your house.)

hey everyone wel im a 15/f && when i wuz 6 yrs old my aunt died of breast cancer... i use to always be with her.. she would baby-sit me && take me places... like the mall && stuff.. and her daughter (my cousin) is married and now has a kid named sonia (my niece) she's really cute but the thing is im not sure how wil my cousin tell her about my aunt?? its rreally complicated.. and i sometimes even cry whenever i think of her b/c i miss her soo much!!! my uncle is weird.. ever isince my aunt died he's been bitter (well thats just my opinion) but yeah
hm..I think I see where you're coming from. Do you trust your cousin? I mean, does she seem like the type who would know what to do? If she is, then I really don't think you have anything to worry about when your cousin tells your neice. And it's only natural to cry about your aunt. Everybody cries when a loved one dies!! Just think: At least she didn't die when you were like 13, because that would be even worse. And at least it wasn't like your mom or your dad or something. Think how terrible that would have been. As for your uncle, maybe that's his way of dealing with it. Or he doesn't know how to deal with it. If you are truly worried, you can just sit with him and talk about your aunt. I know it's sad and it's scary, but you will feel much better afterwards, plus, then you and your uncle will have a special relationship, like you and your aunt did

about a year and a half ago i did something so stupid. i cut a strand of hair in front of my head thinking it was no big deal because i just wanted it gone. then i realized it would grow back. so i shaved it but then i let it grow for awhile..then i couldnt take it and tweezed it.. that lasted for awhile but then recently i couldnt stand the random baby hairs i had in the front of my head from tweezing it so i shaved them off. you think i wouldve learned after one time..but no. so now im stuck shaving this area of stubble in the front of my head 2 times a day..which gives me razor burn and since its on my head it looks like acne. i just dont know what to do anymore. any suggestions of how to undo this mess?
The first thing you need to do is:
STOP SHAVING THE FRONT OF YOUR HEAD.

I did the same thing when I was nine and got through it. I also use to pick my eyebrow hairs (I know it was totally gross, I had like huge spots missing in my eyebrows.) but they came back, so don't think it's gonna be like this forever.
I think that you should tell your mother, even though it was a big mitake, I'm sure she will understand. She's your mom!
Second thing is go to your hairdresser. They will help you. Even though it is totally embaressing, just think: At least I have hair and am not totally bald (Like people with cancer.) Your probably going to have to get bangs that cover your forehead.It might look dumb, but it's totalllyyy worth it. (Make sure it's a trustworthy hairdresser. Do you have one that you always go to? If you don't, go to your mom's one.)
As for the red bumps, put some ice on them once a day, maybe like at night before you go to sleep? If it doesn't work in like a week, tell me.
But you REALLY need to tell your mother ASAP!

I need to find a part time summer job in Toronto.
Promblem is that I'm only 13 years old.
Hm...well I'm 13, too & can't wait to start getting monnneeyyy. Problem is: You have to be 14 to get a job. I don't think there is a job that you can take when you're thirteen. If there was, I would defiantly have one. Well you go totally old school and start babysitting, or dog walking. You know like your own job.
When you turn 14, I know two jobs you could have
Lifeguarding
Working at a retirement center

Ok, first of all I'm very self concious about the number of friend I have so I was wondering how many is a good amount? Or just any advice on that problem at all?
Next, I'm starting a new school next year and going to camp this year and all that jazz. Do you have any tips on making new friends?
Don't be self concious! I only have like 2 close friends, but I'm fine with it. There really is no good amount, there are different opinions to different people. Plus, you shouldn't care because if you try to get friends just to have more friends, then they're not really friends.
The two steps I have to remember for making friends is:
1. Always smile and be entergetic (But don't be too enthused, because it might creep them out.)
2. When asking their name, remember it! People feel important when someone remembers their name.
If you see them in the hallway again or something, just be like Hey Monica! (sorry I'm watching friends right now, that's the name that popped up.) Also, if the person you're meeting doesn't say anything, you might have to strike up the conversation, but don't be intimidated.
When picking out which people to meet, I guess for camp you obviosusly have to introduce yourself to your roomates. As for school, find someone that's in a few of your classes that looks trustworthy and friendly.

I want to redecorate my room. First though, I have to pick a comforter to base the rest of the room on. I've looked almost everywhere online and I just can't find something I love! I'm one of those really original people... I'm having a hard time finding something that screams "me". Can anyone help me find something to fit me?
I like almost every color... I really wanted a pink and black theme but I don't know. I like blue, green, purple, pink, orange, white...
I just want something kinda original looking. maybe something "psychedelic"? If you're bored and like this kind of stuff, I would really really appreciate your help!
I kind of like polka dots and a bunch of cute clolors put together and stuff. Have you ever been to www.delias.com? They don't ahve a lot of room stuff but what the have is so cute (it's also a store in the mall.) There is also the best most awsomest decorating store for teenage girls it's called Dry Ice (Yeah, I know. werid name.) I tried looking for therre website but I don't think they have one. You could try looking for a store near you online (I don't think it's a department store so you might have to look in a mall.) Last resort: Ikea. The Ikea where I live (I live in Norhtern Virginia.) is totally creepy but the one where you live could be ok haha.

Where can i find a bathing suit thats 32A and padded for a good price?
Sorry if you think it's a total waste of time to shop here but,
Target and Kohls have thee best bathing suits. I'm a 32A with padded bathing suits. I'm not quite sure how much they are, but they should only be about 12.00. Don't go to Pacsun or AE because even though they have good ones, it's like $24. Stick to the department stores.
It might be a little hard though because it is the middle of summer and a lot of good bathing suits might have already been taken (That's what happened to me last year.)

Haha I won't be sarcastic. I'm guessing that you can;'t get in contact with the person in any other way, right? If you oculd, you can just ask them. You can also ask somebody who has like everyone's email and always sends out stuff. Maybe try searching those yellow pages online kinda thing, though that never really works for me

ok so i have this wonderful best friend we were always together and we would always call eachother. we planned to be best friends forever. she was the closest friend i ever had. i recently lost 2 of my other best friends over some bitch so lauren is all i have. ever since xummer started she has been hangin out with this girl tiffany all the time, she doesnt call me anymore and everytime we talk it turns into a fight. i tried talking to her it didnt work. she doesnt answer her phone to me anymore. help i dont know what to do i cant lose her.
Maybe you could find someone that you really trust, and ask them to tell Lauren what's up. She might be getting offensive because she probably thinks that you are getting jealous and clingy (I'm not calling you that.) If you can find some way to reach her, just tell her exactly what you said in your questin. That you're afraid of losing her as a best friend. True best friend girl talk is always good for people. I'm sure she has some free time to hang out with you. Maybe you can hang out with her and Tiffany? (unless tiffany is ,like, a total bitch.) I'm sure if you just explain to her what's going on I'm sure she will understand.

OK, well, my two best friends will call me out if they think I'm "flirting" with a guy. It doesn't even matter what guy, they will just give me a look and act all mad. They don't even like the guy, since they both have boyfriends. But the problem is that our ideas of flirting are WAY different. Like, they think that striking a conversation up with an ex or playing soccer with a good guy friend is flirting, but I say not really. I need help! I need to know what to do? Should I laugh it off, or just not talk to my guy friends?
I know this si so old fashion, but you could just ask them to stop calli9ng you out, because it is embarressing (do they do it in public?) and that is so not your idea of flirting. You can tell them what your idea of flirting is so they're not calling you out every single time.
You could laugh it off, and then change the subject but that will give them more reason to think that you are flirting, unless you're realyl good at fake laughing. (haha.) If you just sit them down I think they will understand, I mean they are your best friends right? :)

You probably won't have the best results by Friday, so don't over work yourself if it's getting to be friday and you don't see any changes. It takes a while. Also, if you don't see any changes please don't start starving yourself because 1) It actually makes you gain weight. and 2) it's stupid.
I have my period now, but yesterday and today when I use the bathroom, my period is brown. Why is it like that? Usually it's red. I am kind of sick, does that affect it? Is it normal?
I don't know why it's like that, maybe it's some of your poop (totally gross, I know.) But mine like turns black and brownish and I asked my mom if it was bad and she said no it's totally normal so I don't think you have anything to worry about!
