**OK my friends name is Nancy.(changed to be confidential)Her idea of fun is drugs. Any time she can get a hold of a drug she takes advantage of it. The drugs "I KNOW OF" that she has tried is coke, aderal, and defently weed! Chronic is what she lives for, everyday after school she smokes with her sister. Any other drug she usually doesnt tell me bout. She also drinks. I dont think she does alot. Whats the problem your asking? my friend just turned 13 4 months ago!! Yea...so everytime i try to tell her "Nancy you're so much better than that and you kno it!" she just goes "Dude its nothing it cant hurt me" Nancy is a smart girl, she could do much with her life! I never kno if an ingrediant in any of the drugs she takes she could be allergic to. I need help, what do I do?!

Wow, that's a hard situation!! Your friend doesn't seem to realize or care that not only is she hurting herself, but she's hurting her friends.
All drugs stay in your system for a long time (there are some drug tests that can find drug traces from 5-7 years prior!)
If she's smoking with her SiSTER... could you tell her parents, or would that make a difference? If none of that helps, talk to your parents or someone as school.

At least your Mom *seems* to like him, that's a good sign. All Dad's are like that with their daughters. I'm almost 2O and my Dad is still super protective.. and I'm the oldest LOL.
Talk to them and see if he can come over one day, early in the day, then you can have him "all to yourself" =)

yes i agree...but dont forget we have to go threw pregancy of their own child if they get up pregant!....ive known him since september 2003..but i only seen him once a week bc i met him at church and they had the confirmation class all taught at seprate classes although it was the same time and day..so i saw him for about 10-15 mins be4 class started..then once we had our confirmation in June i only saw him once in august w/ my friend and the 3 of us went to see The Village which was completly stupid..but it was kewl since i got to hang out with him for like 2 hours..then i saw him 2 weeks ago bc he wanted me to join youth group so i joined so i could see him more often and i can see my other BFF who i known since i was 7 and she doesnt go to public school anymoree although she lives to blocks away and all..and yeah he is one of my close BFF's...even the one who lives 2 blocks away from me said that it looks like he likes meh..but i dk..its all getting confusing..and im not suppose to date till im 16 so i gotta wait till March 2006..which bites ass *tear*- thx again (link)

If you have to wait until 2OO6, what I would do is just hang out with him at Youth Group and maybe go to a few movies together. Do your parents like him? If so, see if he can come over and hang out with you someday.

I think since he keeps asking YOU on how to ask a girl out, he might be hinting to you that he'd like to go out with you. That would be my guess.
I would talk to him and tell him that you like him (I'm assuming that you do) and see what happens from there. If he is one of your best friends, I don't think anything would be a problem.
On a side note, I think it's both equally hard being a girl or a guy, if that helps any.

Ok! Well I have to go to the doctor tuesday with my mom to get birth control. Im just really stressing out about the papsmear. I shave down there and Im not sure whether or not I want my mom in the room when they do that. They also have to ask you if your sexually active and I really dont want my mom knowing all that either! Hi. If you don't want your Mom in there, tell her, "Mom, I would appricate it if you'd stay in the waiting room so the Docto & I can talk openly." If she can't accept that, then talk to the Doctor and by rights, they should make her leave. If it's a male doctor, you could always ask for a nurse to be in there, if you're nervous about that.
About the birth control pills, I got kinda lucky, I got put on them for prevention of cysts, but I use them for the obvious too LOL

I recently had my pap smear and the results came back fine. My doctor said that the Pap smear was normal. I did not have the HPV, but this is were I'm confused, she told me to go back for another testing in 6 months because they found changes in the cells of my cervix.

Hey. If you just had sex (like within the past 72 hours) you can go to Planned Parenthood and get the "Morning After Pill" that will help in preventing pregancy. However, if it's been longer than 72 hours.. that wouldn't help.
You must be 18 in order for your parents to not know. I was also reading some other answers and most insurances/medicare won't cover abortions unless it's needed to help save the mother, like the pregancy could put her life in danger and generally they run around $400-$500, just so you know.
What I would do is take the test and then go from there. Don't worry until you know, because worrying and stress will make your period late.

Hi there. I know what you mean about spending money like crazy. I make about $4OO.OO a paycheck also. Where do you work by the way?
Anyways, what I did was I got a savings account and put 70% of the money in there and then kept the rest out as play money. That would work because I knew my alloted amount.
However, I just bought a car and with that and insurance, my play money is VERY limited, we're talking to around $3O.OO per paycheck. It's not bad though, because I got a cool car =)
But yes, try to open a savings account, that'd be my best advice. Let me know how things go!

i have WinMx and its not working! im soooo frustrated! it worked ever since i had it but then one day it suddenly stops working. like i'll be connected and everything but every time i search for a song/artist NOTHING COMES UP! even if its like the most popular song ever. like you know on the top where it counts the time you've been connected to winmx? well now it only says P=5 S=2 spm=7349. Hey =) I had WinMX at one point too, I hated it because it never worked and took for ever, even though I've got DSL.. Anyways, I'd try taking it toally off and going to http://www.aresgalaxy.org/ and download that program. It's REALLY fast and you can get software, videos, music and tons of stuff. Have fun! I don't know if it works with Mac however.. so hopefully you have a PC =)

This may be kinda long, but I need to ask someone. I just started taking birth control pills 3 weeks ago. I think I may be pregnant but, I havent missed my next scheduled period. Since I just started taking the pill, that messes up my cycle for this month. I have other signs of possibly being pregnant. Being on my pills the nurse told me I should be getting my period around the 13th of this month. My boyfriend and I are very sexually active..in fact every night. I know we shouldnt do it, but it is unprotected each time. Is there a way that I could find out now if I could be pregnant..like take a pregnancy test tomorrow and find out? Im really nervous and want to know if I am now. I need to know what to do soon. Thanks. (link)

Hi there.
For the first little bit, your period will be wacky and will kind of come on it own time. I was told to wait about a month and a half before sex with out any other protection, so if it was me, I'd quit having sex for a few days and keep taking the pill. When you are you done with the active ones, wait and fo from there. I'd take a test sometime soon though, like in the next day or so. Go to any store and they have them there, or go to the doctor's office. Good luck & let me know what happens.

I can't seen to find one great friend for myself. I really have no one to go to to laugh with and share my secrets with and most importantly, to dream with. Almost all of the people at my school don't seem to really want to hang out with me. Everyone that I've had up to this point has either gone away or betrayed me. It hurts. I consider a true friend to be someone that you would lay down your life for and they'd do the same for you any day and I used to have one like that, but he's gone now. What do I do?

Hmm... piercings... I'd maybe go to a store like Hot Topic or even Claire's and get her a belly ring or a nose ring, or even a gift card. Those are good because she can get whatever she wants to.
If she reads, maybe a gift card to Barnes & Nobel.
Anyway you go, I'd say gift card would be the "safest" because then she could pick out her own gift. If all else, ask her and see what she'd like or have your parents find out.

It sounds like to me that you got scared of something happening.. that's what happened with me the first time. I backed out once, felt like crap, but I knew that moment wasn't good. We waited 2 days and it was perfect.
Getting back to you though ;) I think that the only way you'll be able to know when the time is right is when your heart tells you. That's great you have condoms, but I'd reccomend another method, like the pill to be extra safe. Good luck and let me know if it goes through =)

Hey. For me, it took about a week. I'd reccomend "Australian Gold" lotions, those work the best. Something fun is to put a sticker on, in the same place all the time and watch to see how much darker you get over time. By the 2nd day, you'll be able to see it, but the week is how long it took to go WOW!! Good luck! =)
