You have to be 18 to get an abortion without your parents knowing. Find out if your pregnant, go to tha doctor or get a pregnancy test. Rethink tha abortion thing, because everything will work out okay without one. I've been in your position before n i NEVER though about an abortion, cuz thats just sad. If it's not too late, you could get the morning after pill that makes you get your period right away, but if it is too late and it's been more than 2 weeks after you had sex, take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, you could get an abortion without your parents knowing depending on which state you live in. I live in Canada, so anyone from 14 and older can get an abortion without their parents knowing. I know though that in some states you could do that. Find out if your in that state. If your not, get someone related to you (like a sister) over 18 to go with you.....good luck, hope your not pregnant!

Hey. If you just had sex (like within the past 72 hours) you can go to Planned Parenthood and get the "Morning After Pill" that will help in preventing pregancy. However, if it's been longer than 72 hours.. that wouldn't help.
You must be 18 in order for your parents to not know. I was also reading some other answers and most insurances/medicare won't cover abortions unless it's needed to help save the mother, like the pregancy could put her life in danger and generally they run around $400-$500, just so you know.
What I would do is take the test and then go from there. Don't worry until you know, because worrying and stress will make your period late.

oHHH... unluckily not. since ur 16 like me were considered underage. u have 2 be at least 18 to do it without parental consent. but 1st make sure ur pregnent. go with a friend down 2 a local pregnency place and they'll test u 4 free (without ur parents knowing that) but if ur pregnent r u sure u really wanna have an abortion? theres lots of other options for u without killing a baby. i'm really sorry though that this is happening cuz i kno its every teenage girls nightmare! uGhh! i hope all goes well and ur ok! ask me ne thing if u need 2!

Ok listen.. being pregnant is nothing to mess with. You shouldnt have an abortion just because your scared or you dont want your parents to know, because trust me, your parents would rather you tell them. You shouldnt kill a life just because of your stupidity! You need to stop and think about what your doing and not just look for the easiest way out. I don't know what the laws are about that in your state, or even in my state. I hope if you are pregnant you'll talk to your parents first, or at least think about this seriously before you go through with it. Talk to women who have had an abortion before, find out what the long term mental effects can be. You don't want to do something you may regret later in life. And you shouldn't destroy your parents grandchild without them knowing. Talk to them, there may be another way to work it out. And next time, use protection! If you think you're mature enough to be having sex, your mature enough to learn how to protect yourself...

first thing you should do is to find out if your really pregnant first. take a home pregnancy test and go get checked out by a doctor and if you are then youi can start to think about abortion. No, you cant have an abortion with out your parents knowing. They will have to sign papers for you. So they will need to know if you are. And i wouldnt really try and go get an abortion behind their backs because it could only make things worse for you. Tell them and if they dont agree on abortion then sit down and agree on something to do with you and/or the baby. They may want to have it and give it up for adoption or have it and keep it. You'll never know. Whether or not you tell them is your choice, but they will find out sooner or later. So whatever you choose to do, Good Luck!

Wow thats kinda of bad if your like 13 or 14 15 too but no you can't because you need your parents to sign papers and i know a few people who have done abortion and they were really upset about it so I wouldn't do abortion anyways....I think you should probably give it to a foster home if you can't take care of it but someone close so you can vist him/her...but take a pregnecy test just to make sure your not pregnent!
