What should I wear for make-up?

I have green eyes.

I get alot of compliments on my make up, so I'm going to give you a big answer on this one.

EYES:

Liner: Go for a light brown or copper color to accentuate your hair color. If you prefer black, you may use that too.

HOW TO APPLY:
1) Draw a line half way across right below your lashes. (Not the inner lid)
2) Smudge slightly to soften the line.
3) If your line is uneven or too thick, wet a Q-Tip and put handsoap on it. Then run the Q-Tip along the bottom of the line to take off the edge of it.

Shadow: If you're willing, try bright, bold colors. (This is what I go for to draw attention to my eyes) Bright blues and bright greens work great for this. You can also coordinate the color with you accessories or outfits.

If you want more of the suttle look, try pale pinks, pale browns, and copper.

HOW TO APPLY:

1) Use a brush and smudge right above the lashes on top.
2) Use a soft brush and apply in the corners of your eyes and right below you line of eyeliner on the bottom if you wish.

Mascara: Try black.

1) Apply to top lashes.
2) Use eyelash curler for 20 seconds.
3) Apply lightly to bottom lashes if nessicary.

LIPS:

Always, Always, Always apply a chapstick with SPF in it. This will dramaticly help with chapping, sunburnt lips, and make them soft and lucious. Guys like that ;)

Lipstick: If you want, you can use a pale pink, a shimmery color, or a darker color. Expeirement and see what you like.

Gloss: Can be pale pink, clear, glittery, or shimmery.

1) Apply clear chapstick.
2) Apply lip stick.
3) Apply a gloss over the lip stick.

where could i find very very cheap water bras? i know victoria's secret has them but theyre expensive..

and one more question, do push up bras or water bras make your boobs look bigger?

I've seen a few water bra's at department stores such as JCPenny's, Nordstorms, Dillards, Sears, etc. However, I would not recommend them. They can be hard to find also, because most people just stick with a push up nowadays.

Pushups are more for cleavage, but they do have great padding which does make your boobs look larger. Plus their is no oppurtunity for people to find out that its not your real boobs as they could with a water bra.

K..so my friend of about 3 years is having a birthday party. I'm looking forward to her party, but the only problem is she invited 3 other girls to go out to eat/spend the night that I really don't like. I wanna have fun because I know the little party means a lot to my friend. Does anyone know of ANYTHING we can all do so we can all have fun. We're gonna have the house to ourselves tomorrow. Smile at him, (randomly)
if he smiles back: yes. If not, maybe not so much.

Don't do that more then once, it'll make you look stupid.

If youre both sitting on the ground, say your tired and you don't want to get up. Then ask if to help you up:

If he offers out his hand and smiles: Yes.

I want some ideas for my make-up when I go back to school this year. I have kind of fair skin, with some freckles on my cheeks and over my nose. I have really really dark brown hair, side bangs, and it is sholder length. My eyes are green, and pretty big. I think thats all you need. Thanks so much for all your help!

Since you have fair skin, dark makeup might be too much.

Try these products:

Light brown eyeliner.
Various shades of shadow in light colors.
Mascara (Black)
Chap stick.
Lip gloss.

For the liner:
1)Apply above your eye on top lid.
(Not the inner part, the outer skin part)
If the line is uneven, (this may take practice) wet a Q-Tip and put hand soap on it and make the line even by washing off the uneven parts.

2) Apply liner to only half of your bottom lid, smudge a tiny bit to smoothen out the end of the line.

For the shadow:
1) Apply the color lightly right above the liner.
2) Apply in the corner of your eye (becareful) if you wish, and lightly along the bottom of your eye.

For the mascara:
1)Apply to your top lashes.
2)Use an eyelash curler for 20 seconds.
3)Apply lightly to bottom lashes if you wish. But don't over do it.

For the lips:
1) Always apply chapstick with SPF in it.
2) Apply a colored gloss. Try light pinks to start out with, then get creative.
3) Apply a glossy, sparkley, or glittery coat on top to seal and add shine.

If you go for blush:
1) Apply a color almost matching your skin tone.
2) Swirl brush in color, then tap excess off.
3) Brush from your apples up. (Apples: The round part of your cheeks when you smile)
4) Swirl in lightly going up your cheek bones.

If you have a pimple:
1) Counteract the color red with light yellow powder make up.
2) Apply coverup on top.

If you need to apply all over coverage:
1) Apply an oil-free mosturizer first.
2) Apply a coverup, (liquid or mousse) evenly, besure not to leave lines on the your jawline.

does organic foods mean they don't have anything sweet in it? like, there's this organic store here, and they sell cake and anything and everything organic. i'm eating this dessert thing and i just to thinking if it will maybe give you like calories like regular desserts and stuff.

Organic means its not like processed food.
Which means it has very little or no chemical help when making it. Most likley it is all made with natural sweetners.

i really think my eyes are uneven. i don't know if its noticable or not but my right eye seems smaller than my left one. is there anyway to put on make up to make them appear even? because sometimes when i look i notice it. haha like it doesnt matter to me that much but im just wondering.

My eyes are the same; hardly noticable unless someone knows they are uneven.
(So don't tell people, heh)

Apply white eyeliner to your inner lower lids, this makes eye appear whiter and more open.

Dark eyeliner makes eyes look smaller & more closed. Keep that in mind when applying makeup.

okay, well, im only 13, but i know what i want to do when im older. i want to work for pop star magazine. no, not just because i'd get to meet celebs, though that wouldnt hurt, but i want to be a journalist and interiew people. do i have to go to college for that, and if so, what classes do i have to take?

In High School:
I recommend getting into journalist/ AP English classes. Maybe even get on your schools newpaper to get more expierence.

Try applying to a college with great majors in Journalism. Most colleges have small majors in journalism too. While you're there, maybe that can direct you to a journalism internship.

The online store has some basic ones, but if you go to the actual store (usually in a mall) they have hundreds of selections, trust me, its crazy.

i don't get what pushup bras are. like i know they make your boobs look bigger, but when i saw a picture of them, they just looked like normal bras. i know there're like sports bras and normal bras, and they just looked like normal bras. are there two diff types of bras that look like normal bras, or are they the normal bras??

Push Ups look normal.
However, they do "push up" your boobs.
You can't really tell if one is a push up if you just look at it, unless you really know your stuff about bras.

Push Ups just makes your boobs look bigger and provide a bit more cleavage.

okay, well, im just gonna say it: im really popular at my school. i think im pretty, and so does everybody else. im not gonna go into detail. cuz you know how popular kids are. well, this girl at school thinks that shes better than us!! Well it works, shes showing off, bragging,
and what not to get your attention. If you don't pay attention to her, she'll feel stupid.

Once she does calm down, if you still want to be her friend, then start hanging out with her again.

I'm getting all new make-up for school, but I don't know what colors would look good on me. I have light blonde hair, bluish green, fair skin. I already know that I want black eyeliner, but I don't know what color blush and eye-shadow I should get.

If it helps, I'm kind of one of those "scene" kids.

Here are some ideas and things to buy:

A smokey, dark eyed look:
1)Put a dark line across half of the top of your lid.
2)Take a smudging brush and smudge it the other half of your lid.
You can do the same on the bottom.

Try a blast of bright fun colors:
(You can match& mix with your outfits)
*I recommend HIP Products*
Take bright blue, bright greens, bright purple eyeshadown and brush it right above you line of eyeliner on your top lid. Brush a tidbit in the corner of your eye and line the bottom with a soft amount of shadow.

If you want to get crazy with it, since you said your more into the scene style, this is a picture that you can follow or be inspired by.

If you want a more natural look one day:
Try a pale pink or light brown shadow (Apply the same way you would with the bright colors)
And try a light brown liner all the way across your top lid, and only half way across your bottom lid.

If you want your eyes to look more open:
1) Apply white eyeliner on the INSIDE lower lid.
2) Apply a darker liner, brown or black, halfway across the lower lid.

Also, use mascara on your top lashes.
Then use a eyelash curler for about 20 seconds.
This totally opens up your eyes.

I hate my eyebrows but im scared to shave them [w/ an eyebrow thingy] how can i make them look better without screwin them up using that thing?!

Waxing is the most preferred way by young women. Most nail salons do it for a cheap price. Up to 20$.

I like to have control over how my eyebrows look, so I pluck them regulary. (Every morning)
Don't over do it though, otherwise it'll look horrible. Draw out the shape you want with an eyebrow pencil then pluck the hairs outside of the shape if your that scared about it.

Some select private owned places can hire at age 14. I've never heard of one hiring at age 13 though.

If you parent/ relative/ neighbor has a buisness I'm sure they could pay you to help out in some way.

Pet sitting.
House cleaning for neighbors.
Bringing in mail/papers to neighbors.
Jewlrey making.
Lemonade stand :) hah.
If you can do crafty stuff such
as painting, knitting, etc.

ok. i had corel paint shop pro. and i loved it! i used it so much. but my free trial ended. but my parents wont let me spend money. :( i know bummer. so i was wondering how i cna get it back or if htere is a nother software i can use like it>?? thanks

I have the same problem.
We have more then one computer hooked up to the same internet, and it still won't let me redownload it. Theres nothing you can really do unless you buy the CD.

ok so i have freckles pretty much everywhere. all over my face, my arms, legs, everywhere. is there any kind of makeup or anything that could cover them up on my face or even get rid of them?? i really hate them and people make fun of me all the time. any advice would help.

Dream Mousse Mattee covers quite well.
Also MAC and Sephora have great coverups if your willing to pay the price. ($$$)

I wouldn't recommend CoverGirl regular foundation, it clogs pores and has poor coverage.
Any type of mousse coverup should do the trick, just besure to do a very thin layer so you don't look fake. Also a slight powder coat on top can't hurt.

I'm not sure of a way to remove them.
Their might be one if you go to a plastic surgeon/ dermatoligist.

If you can I would recommend seeing a derm.
They can help you out, maybe they have fading creams. :)

my birthday's coming up in 2 weeks. i know its kinda late to think about this, but i have no idea what im gonna do. i might just not do anyhting, but i kinda would like to do something with some of my close friends. any ideas?

Sleepover with our own little spa treatments and rented movies.
Actually going to a spa for a few hours.
All going to the mall, then back over for a sleepover.

If you do go for a bigger party you could try:

Bowling.
Ice skating.
Dance party girls&guys.
Shaving cream fight.
Waterballoon fights.

My friend lies about EVERYTHING and do I mean everything. Most of it is just stupid! When I told her I got my first period, (about a year or 2 ago) she told me that she got hers 3 months before that & so did her other friend, Anna. Well it turns out that Anna didn't get it for the first time until December of this year. She lied about her parents getting divorced and moving to another town to get attention about 8 months ago. I know it wasn't true because my mom talked to her mom and said it wasn't, and I drove by her house the day after she said the for sale sign was up, and nothing was there. It's so annoying! She even lies about having a threapist for emotional problems! It's almost as if she wants people to think she's crazy! I don't believe anything she says, and I don't trust her at all. It's really hard to talk to her because we've been friends since kindergarten, but I can't stand all the lies!

She sounds alot like my friend, she lies all the time to make herself look better then other people. This also makes her change, to fit in with other "groups" I hate it, but its just who she is.

Next time she lies, try to make if backfire.
If she says something like "My dog died yesterday" Ask her why he was running around outside this morning. After a few times of doing that, she should begin to realize that people know she's not telling the truth. Don't be too harsh about it either, maybe start off doing that while you two are alone, then if it continues do it when she lies around other people.

If the whole putting-her-on-the-spot thing doesn't work out. Talk to her, tell her you know whats up, and you want to know why its going on.
Don't be mean about it, she sounds sensitive. Just calmly tell her you know about her parents, her period, or other things she's lied about.

Other then that, just try to laugh it off.

About three weeks ago, my friends went to the mall and I bought this sweatshirt. Well my one friend really likes it and she keeps saying she is going to buy it.

Then today, me and the same freind went back to the mall and she was buying this skirt and I liked it so I was like do you mind if I buy it but in a different color? And she just nodded her head yes but only a little bit.

Why did she get mad about that?
Why can she buy the clothes I have but I can't buy her clothes?

Ugh, I totally know how you feel.
Me and my friend got in a fight about this
while we were on vacation, big mistake.

She probably just doesn't realize that she's being unfair. Just ask her " If you can get the hoodie I have, may I get this _____ ?"

If she says know, then ask her nicely " How is that fair" Don't try to start a big fight on this. Most likley she just doesn't realize what she's doing.
