when you have a negitave plus and negitave do you add them together or subtract them?

negative+negative you add to get a negative answer.... negative plus positive you subtract... lets say it's -4 + 8 the answer would be +4 because highest number (8) is a positive get ... and if it was 4 + (-8) it would be -4 because the highest (8) is a negatice... get it? if not just let me no and i'll help you as much as possible :-)

baking powder and baking soda are extrememly different... so i don't think so.. and run and vanilla are extrememly different too.. but i guess you could since it's ony gonna be a little bit.. but it will taste different

my BEST FRIEND has been for me since 2nd grade, and i dont want anything to come between us.

last year i went out with a guy, umm lou..sure...and he broke up with me...but ive always been crushing on him since. just crushing...i still flirt with others and stuff, but my best friend..uhh..zoe....nos that i "like" him.
lately shes been flirting with lou alot, and she came out and told me she likes him more than a friend. i was really upset, but she promised me that she wouldnt hurt me by going out with him or anything.
so now she told LOU that she liked him, and im thinking that they are soon going to go out, cuz my other friend came up to me and was like, "do you hate zoe now??" and im like why and their like "oops nvm" and so i think they're gonna go out or already are.
so what im asking is should i just let them go and break my heart..but still have my friend and try to forget about it-or let this situation hurt my friendship and make her realize how bad she really hurt me.

ok well im 17 and me and my boyfriend met like a month ago at my friends grad party and we just hit it off and now we are an "item". THe bad thing is that he lives in detroit which is like an hour and a half from where i live so we never get to see each other but we talk almost everyday on the phone.we love each other but im just scared to lose him cause i finally found someone worth loving but long distance relationships never work out from what my friends say but i want to know how you guys would handle being in a relationship like mine. thanks

long distance relationships are hard.. but some work out.. you don't want to throw away what you have because of the distance.. i mean if you really love this kid.. distance can't keep you away from him... i mean also if you realy love him.. im sure sometimes once in a while you can make it work.. you gotta think.. is it worth it... could this be "the one" etc make like a pro and con list.. if you really love this boy i wouldn't throw it away because you live an hour and a half away.. plus maybe twice a month or so one of you can drive down to the other and maybe spend the day/night etc. but if you really love him.. i wouldn't give it all up.. :-) hope i helped and if you need anything else just ask

emo people are like people who are kinda like well... my girlfriedn broke up with me.. im gonna go kill myself... it's the end of the word kinda stuff.. there is also emo music.. it's like rock.. but it's the lyrics that make it emo.. they talk about killing themselves... or like it's the end of the world sort of stuff.. the lyrics are really deep... some of the bands are taking back sunday, hawthorne heights, senses fail, halifax, finch, etc. ... hope i helped..

Yesterday, I went to my friend Matts party and he invited his friend Josh. Me and Josh really hit it off and were flirting a lot. Later on that night, me and Josh sat on the couch and Matt sat in another chair. Me and Josh were all snuggled up close together with a blanket on us cuz we were cold and all of us were watching a movie. During the movie, Josh leaned his head towards me so I did the same and our heads were resting against eachother. I slowly moved my hand onto his arm and he then slowly crept his hand onto my leg and rested it there. I then put my hand over his and then he took my hand in his and we caressed eachothers hands and fingers. Matts mom came home so we pulled away from eachother then. After the couch incident, Matt got really mad at Josh and I still dont know what the fight was about. When the fight was over, Josh wouldnt even talk to me unless I said something to him. He got really quiet and seemed like a different person. He wouldnt come close to me at all. Then my mom came and picked me up and he didnt even really say bye to me. I dont know what happened. After the fight, everything changed between us. I really like him and I think he likes me but its just I want to know why he acted so differently after that fight. Could you help me?

I think matt likes you and josh is backing off so matt dont get mad... i think you need to let josh know you are interested in him and that you dont know what when on between you and matt but i am interested in you and only you..

Hey! Well my hair straightner now is by Hot Tools, it's a ceramic plates one and it works pretty well, but I think it's time for a new one. Lately, this one hasn't been working that well. I've only used 2 hair straighteners in the past year and they're both identical. They used to work pretty well, but lately my hair is just not straight like it used to be.
