My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

right now i am really iffy about a guy. at the time my last relationship which was good ended in january. im really alone and want someone to be with. since then ive been in situations with this guy jack for a bit. we were going to go out but then i'd not be sure and it'd just be friendship. we were just friends, good friends for a while. now he has a girlfriend and theyve been together for a month or so. we arnt as good as friends as before and its sad. i am not sure but i think jack would like me if i told him i liked him. but i dont want that because its like he wouldn't really like me kind of? if you get what i mean? but i don't want to ruin his relationship now and im not even sure how i feel. my feelings might just be out of loneliess. what should i do?

If you're not sure that you have feelings for him or not, don't tell him how you feel just yet. You might be just saying those things out of being lonely, but figure out what you want before you actually talk to him. I think that you should start talking to him again, as friends though and that way you'll know if you're feelings for him are comming back.

Thank you for reading that and respecting that. & you're right about the "x0 hollister babe" user name. I made this column 2 years ago and then I was all about Hollister and wearing those clothes, but never to fit in like that. But you didn't offend me :] I wish I could change my column name but oh well. I have gotten a lot of hate mail saying the stupidest things and that only made me how I am today. I don't try to be like anyone by doing what they do, ya know?

Well I have been dating this guy for 4 months. He is SO sweet, like always saying, i love you, your pretty ect. Anyways, his bestfriend told me that my boyfriend told him that he wanted me to hug him sooo badly. I mean really badly. Everyday after school he looks like he wants a hug but instead we go seperate ways (which we have to) and say bye and i love you. and thats it! should i hug him or not? I want to but im realllyyyyyyyyyy shy. i really need help

Going out for 4 months and not hugging is a long time. I think that you should just go for it. When you see him, surprise him with a hug. Just be confident and there's nothing you should be shy of. He's going to be surprised that you did it first and he'll like it :] Just go for it, & then he'll start hugging you first.

so i met this really cool guy last night. hes so cute and sweet and funny and i dont know if i like him but i deff. want to hang out with him again. my other friend i was with said hes into me and there like best friends. the only problem is he was a little tipsy ( he wasnt drunk but he wasnt sober ) and i dont think hes gonna remember me. i texted him today and he was like sorry i was all over you last night...do you think that means he regrets it or that hes just sorry?

When you're tipsy, you still remember everything so he still remembers who you are. I don't think that he regrets that he was all over you, but he just didn't want to seem like a jerk or embarass himself infront of you. I think that you guys should hang out again and get to know each other better.

hey teza sorry if i'm annoying you with this whole "wow i love zac" thing, but i dont really want to talk to anyone else about it (my best friends dont even know i fell in love with him) anyways, today was the last day im going to see him until next year. i guess its going to take me all summer to get over him... we were "just friends" today,,,it wasnt like he wanted to make the last day super special and maybe be genuine or say "hey! bye! ill miss ya!" what do i do?

You're not annoying me. I have an advice column for a reason so ask whenever you want. Honestly, I think you should move on like you plan on doing. If Zac isn't going to make an effort for talking, hanging out or anything, he's not worth it. Forget about him and enjoy your summer. Maybe you'll meet some other guys and it will take your mind off him.

Most people don't like to talk about it when people ask them. When people ask me what's wrong, it really makes me mad but saying I'm fine is just another meaning for leave me alone.

i was thinking about getting extensions in my hair for prom. I was wondering you can curl them with a curling iron right? And also i was getting my hair in a side pony tail low right near my neck then the pony tail all curly but someone else had the same idea how can i switch it up a little?

You can do whatever you want with extensions and I really like that hairstyle idea. I still think you should do it. It doesn't matter that another girl is doing the same thing. Also, look through some magazines and find hairstyles that go with your dress. You could do it half way up with some wavy curls but it would help if I knew how your dress looked like. Have fun at prom though. =]

That can get really annoying but she is just curious and she likes to see what you're doing and to spend time with you. Talk to your parents and explain to them that you need more privacy and then they could talk to her. She's not doing it because she loves to make you mad, but she's just interested in your life. Let her know that you also need your privacy but be nice and calm about it and she'll understand.

It's really complicated. I don't think Zac knows what he wants and even if he does, he can't show it right. You shouldn't just forget about it just yet. Maybe he was having a bad day, or something else. He's probablly still trying to get to know you more and more and if he likes you as just a "friend", so what. Although you really like this guy and it might be hard, you WILL find someone else that's right for you. It might take some time but it's only one guy and with your personality, you'll find someone else. =] Don't let him make you upset. Ask him to hang out if you already haven't. See how things go from there.

The only reason she's all over that guy is because she knows you like him and it would make you jelous. Even though it might bother you, ignore her and don't let it get to you. Win the guy over YOUR way and just keep talking and flirting to him. Make plans on the weekends and slowly work your guys' friendship into a relationship. Don't be all over him like "the classroom slut," Guys come and go..no reason to degrade yourself over one.

i answered a question on advicenators, later realizing that my answer was totally wrong and i really wanted to erase it. so i went to "edit answers" and deleted everything, thinking it would get removed from my column and my answer wouldn't appear on the question page. but i was wrong. i clicked "submit" and it said i hadn't entered anything in the box, which i hadn't. is there a way to reverse the process of answering a question as if though you never answered it in the first place?

You can only edit your answers now, no deleting and the reason being is because people abused that privlage to change their ratings. You can just edit it and explain that it was the wrong answer or e-mail DN if you really want it of your column that badly.

I'm 16 and my bf's 17.ok my bf has fingered me before and i want to give him at least a hand job but i get so nervous. everytime i start to do it i chicken out. i know he wants me to cause he told me and signs lol but anyways he knows i get nervous to so what do i do? and some advice would be good to bc i have never done it before thats why i am so nervous.please give me tips!

If you're nervous to do it, you're probablly not ready to. Once the both of you are in the mood, it'll happen but don't rush it just because he really wants it. If you're about to do it, you need to relax. You're thinking way to much about it and maybe he'll guide you through it. It's not as bad as you think. But hey.. if you need more tips just watch a movie clip. Haha, just a suggestion. :]

It's not your fault that you get mad. He makes really pathetic comments and it's nothing that you should feel guilty about. I understand that it can get really annoying, but just tell him again and make sure he gets it through his head. He needs to mature up a little bit because if he contines doing this and acting like that, you might not be able to put up with it any longer.

So there's this graduation thing I've got to go to in June..or july. The problem is I've never really been to one of these and I don't know what exactly they do at these things. Do they have like a dance floor with hiphop or like classical?
I know there's food and all elegant and stuff but what will the dancing part be like? And also...can u jus socialise instead of dance?

I've had a social at the end of my 8th grade year so I'm pretty sure it's like that. There's dinner and you there should be a dance floor. You don't have to dance the whole time or anything but you can talk to your friends. It's fun though.

my bestfriend and i love eachother but we just wont date. we are really close. we kiss we hug we do everything. people think were dating but were not. is this bad? two bestfriends in love kissing as better than friends.

It's not bad but I don't understand why you're not together? If you're so in love with each other, why not make it official. If you guys like being friends with benifts more than having a relationship, that's on you. There's nothing wrong with it.

Ok, well recently I met this kid from another school. He's like best friends with my really good friend from that school. Anyway, we have a lot in common, he's easy to talk too, and not to mention the SWEETEST and nicest kid you'll ever meet. But hes not the cutest or most popular kid either. When I'm with him alone I like him a lot and I want to be with him. But when we're in a group I kind of think "Oh my God what am i thinking" and I want him to back off. I don't know whats wrong with me? At times I like him, other times I don't. I am a girl who bases a lot on looks, so I don't know if thats it or not. Please help...

I personally think that you're attitude is really shady and shallow. If you like this kid, you shouldn't care what other people think about you. If you care too much about what everyone around you thinks, you're going to get nowhere and it's not going to make you a better person. This guy seems like everything you want and so what if he isn't the cutest thing. You like him for who he is, that's all that matters. Don't be fake around him by being nice to him when he's by himself and then pushing him away when there are other around. That's not fair. If people do say anything about you, so what. You have to learn to get used to people being critical and judgemental and just grow with it.


You could be missing out on a great guy.
