Hey! First off, i'm going to start by saying I came here on this site to give people advice. Some people actually don't know the real meaning of advice. They think its the answers they want to hear. But i'm not here for that. I'll give you advice, and it might be something you don't want to hear. But deal with it! You may take my advice or not, its completely up to you and you are not gaurnteed a correct solution.

Ok so now that's clear, I'll talk to you more about myself. Hence the username... I play volleyball. It is my passion and basically my life since I've played for about 7 years. Most of my friends say i'm 50/50 tomboy and girly girl. I LOVE sports!! I play volleyball all year round, and then I go to the park during free times to play some soccer, football, hockey, basketball or baseball with my friends. But then again, I could be inside trying on my new Sephora makeup i'd just gotten, or reading the latest Seventeen magazine or even arranging my clothes for school tomorrow.

You can ask me just about anything and i'll be happy to answer it. You can count on a full and detailed answer.

Oh and another thing... I love getting feedback! Even if its a negative comment. It tells me what I need to work on or even what I did correct.

Every time I see him at school, which isnt often,
w e dont have classes together. but i really try to dress upp. sweetly, innocently, not slutty, i want to win his heart. not get in his pants. so what can i do?

smile at him, be nice to him and just go up to him and talk to him. You can stare at him for a while, but dont look at him ALL the time... just give him a clue that you're intrested.

Well I took your advice looked them straight in the eyes an told what happend. They laughed at me (Principle, Teacher) saying that their is no possible way that she could open my journal that fast and I was lying. Now look! I feel so embarassed about what happend and everybody is staring at me calling me cheater. I don't know what to do and I really don't want my parents to know about this. I was so stupid leaving my parents number. PLEASE HELP I AM IN A REALY STICKY SITUATION!

Ok, relax!
YOU talk to that girl who cheated. Tell her that she is irresponsible and that you had nothing to do with this. Tell her that she deserves to be yelled at and if she doesnt confess to the principal and the teacher, you'll find a way to make sure that she's the one who cheated. Now... when you were taking the test, did ANYBODY see what she did????? if somebody saw her open your journal, make them be the witness. Talk to the principal and the teacher again and tell them "Listen, as I was walking back to my desk I looked down because I was shocked to see why there was my journal on the floor. I'm not the type of student who would cheat on this test. I would rather face the consiquences with getting an F on this test, than to cheat... get an F and also get detention for cheating." what works too, is if you are good at fake crying... try to get a few tears down your cheeks and REALLY get them to listen to you.

What isn't a bad idea is letting your parents know about this. You may think right now "ohhh great!!! now this person is telling me to get my parents involved." NO, what i'm trying to get you to do is tell your parents, your parents have had you for more than 13 years((i'm assuming your older than 13?)) They should be able to trust you. Tell your parents and tell them the truth... tell them you're not the type of kid who would cheat. They'll help you get out of this. If not, just face the concequences and get it over with. Ask for extra credit to really show your principal, and teacher, that you really care about your education.

sorry... I dont know any dance or love movies that I can think of at the time. You can try going to a website store (walmart, target, best buy) and browse for scary/funny/dance/love movies and see what you come up with.

I DESPERATELY need a way to clean out my closet and my room, and keep it that way. Right now its SUCH a war zone. Clothes fill it, just laying in a heap on the floor. They all need to be cleaned and I need an organized way to do this.

have 2 walls with shelves or hangers... 1 side is pants, the 2nd wall is with shirts/sweaters
you can color code them if you want...
another way to organize is if you have an attic or another storage place... put all of your summer clothes into a box and keep them there until summer returns, then when summer returns, remove your winter clothes and keep the summer ones.

Ok here's the deal... yesterday in life science we
hade a chapter 2 test. I studied really hard and I
was confident that I would ace that test. But then
I got stuck on one of the problems... So I went to my life science teacher to ask a question where the girl sitting next to me took my life science journal quickly looked in my notes for the answers then left it on the ground where I was sitting to make me look as if I were cheating. When I came back I looked down surprised to see my notebook open then a kid told on the teacher that I was cheating. I got sent to the principle's office and he said he would talk to my life science teacher get this figured out and I knew I had no chance on getting everybody to know that she cheated not me. I left my parents work number so they could call them if worst comes to worst. Now I am so freakin worried.... what should I do imagine my parents dissapointed in me.

TELL THE TRUTH!!!!!!! If you tell the pricipal, the teacher, and your parents EXACTLY what happend and look at them straight into the eye with a very serious look... they'll know you arn't lieing. Tell the teacher you think it was that other girl that cheated and that she should have a talk with her.

i have black hair down to my waist, its natuarally curly and wavy. i usually straighten it, or mousse it curly, but i was wondering like what new hair styles can i do with my hair, i usually put it i a pony tail, half tie it, orput it in a bun. and i have alot of hair products, so does any1 have any ideas on new things i can do with it.

first off... you gotta explain this more, hun! like where is it?? maybe you ate too much and just have a stomach ache, or maybe you're constipated. Or maybe just some gas in the stomach. Try laying down on your side with your knees touching your chest. and your butt up high.. that should get you to let some gas out. See if you're better than. If my advice wasnt' helpful, just ask me another question in my inbox explaining this more.

hey i was wondering if anyone had ideas for new hairstyles?? my hair is pretty long, past my shoulders, its curly/wavy, but i can straighten it. i usually use bobbypins when i put it up or down, but i was looking for some new cute ideas. i either leave it down or put it up in a messy bun & use bobbypins for my somewhat bangs haha. soo any ideas?? pictures would be helpful, but if not that's okay too.

Hi i'm 13 and whenever I apply eyeliner to the skin right above my bottom lashes, it doesn't look right. This is what I do: I only apply it 3/4 of the way across, I do a thin line, and I also tried to do a thick line, i try to go lightly. I thought maybe the problem was the the color (black) so I tried brown. Brown didn't even show up because I think the moistness of my eye. I used N.Y.C eyeliner. I have dark blue eyes and brown hair. What could I be doing wrong?

Yeah, just like the other person said: try using a different brand of eyeliner. I use Covergirl which works great for me! Putting eyeliner on the skin part above your eyelashes makes your eyes appear smaller. So try putting eyeliner right on the lash line. Do a very small line and then take a Q-tip and smudge it lightly. It looks great! The reason why you look gothic, is because you're over-doing it. Use just a TINY bit and then when you smudge it... it looks like there's more eyeliner on than what you actually put on.

try using a little eye-shadow, mascara, lipgloss...
another thing, go on that website I said and they have so many different hair styles. Wear a hairstyle differently everyday. Jewlery and Accessories are a good add-on for style. Just wear a necklace everyday thats different or earrings, braclets, anklets or hair clips.

Popular- just like the other person said... popularity is just having alot of friends. The way you can get alot of friends is by acting YOU!
dont be somebody you're not...
socialize, compliment people and especially BE NICE! Nobody will be friends with you if you are a total slut and just care about boys, make-up, money...etc.

well it kinda depends on if you want to be more Cartoony type, or scary type, etc...
Just choose your favorite movie, tv or commercial and choose one of the characters. You dont have to buy the costume, just make it on your own.

Like if he likes to play tag outside... put on a jacket and go outside and spend time with him. When you're out of the house, you'll regret not spending time with him. If he likes coloring in a coloring book, buy one for him and just have fun with him. I know it sounds like "oh man, I have to spend time with this little brat" but if you become his friend by spending time with him... you'll be the first person he'll come up to for help or comfort, and trust me... that feels so incredibly good. So if he's annoying you, put on your best personality and just be there for him. Do something to enjoy with him.

I have a SERIOUS problem. There is this kid named Jon in my class and he is sooooo annoying. First, he cannot stop talking. He just like sits there and tries to annoy me and the people around us. When I am taking tests, he will like wave his hands in front of me and stuff. Ive tried to tell him that were in eigth grade and that hes being immuture and stuff, and I have tried ignoring him, and Ive tried annoying him right back. None of that works. The worst part is, the last person that tried to tell the teacher about him, the teacher confronted jon. Now that girl is like the laughing stock of the whole school. Also, I dont wanna look like a tattletale, I just want him to shut the heck up. Sorry this is so long :)

How in the world would you be the laughing stock of the whole school by telling the teacher a problem like this??? Seriously, if this is bothering you this much, TELL THE TEACHER!! what would you rather have happen...

1) this kid will keep on bothering you for the rest of the school year, and you'll go nuts!!

or

2) you do something about this ((tell the teacher, you wont be called a tattle-tale for this)) and just ignore all of the kids that are laughing at you.

tattle tailing is when somebody else tells or does something REALLLLY immature ((ex. putting glue on somebody's chair)) and then you say "oh Mr. _______ Jon put glue on this persons chair! He should get a detention" and then point your finger at him and start crying... THATS TATTLE-TAILING!!!

simply telling the teacher "Mr/Mrs/Ms _________, I have a problem, Jon is really bugging me lately." and then just tell him/her what he's been doing. If the other kids start laughing at you and making fun of you. Just say "hey, at least he wont be bothering me anymore" and just laugh it off.

Well there is this guy at school that I really like. First of all, Im not sure if he likes me. He like waits for me to walk with him after class and stuff and he talks to me alot, But i know if he did like me he would never ask me out because last year I said no when he asked me out. But last year I was a loser and was trying to be popular and stuff (girls you know how that goes...) but this year im just bein myself. Anyhow, the second thing is, everyone would TOTALly make fun of me if I went out with him. I know that shouldnt hold me back from him, but seriously. How can I hint to him that I like him? and What should I do about people making fun of me? By the way im in ninth grade.

so first off start by talking to him. When he comes up to talk to you, smile at him. When you guys are friends, take him somewhere so that there's nobody but you 2. then say "i'm sorry, last year I was such a loser and I said no to you when you asked me out... now I just want to say that i'm really sorry, and if you ever did ask me out I would say yes." then tell him your feelings about him. If you're not honest with him, he wont be honest with you. As for the people making fun of you- just IGNORE them. Trust me, they'll get soo mad because they're trying to make fun of you. They WANT you to get all mad at them. But if you arn't mad at them, and just ignore them... THEY'LL get mad because YOU are mad. Get it???
Just do what feels right to you and just follow your heart.

so i play volleyball and lately I have noticed that my hits could be alot faster and harder if my swing was faster. I practice and practice hitting but i need a faster swing

what are some exercises or anything that will help improve the speed of my swing

somebody who plays volleyball should answer this, they would probably understand more.

ok so I had the same problem...
I went to the gym and this older volleyball player said she would help me, so she said that to make my swing faster, you have to wait longer.

so when the setter sets the ball, you should start your approach right when the ball is at it's highest point. Right when it starts coming down... that's the point you start doing your approach. That will make you faster and your hit more effective. If this doesnt make sense, just ask me again in my inbox.

I'VE ADDED MORE TO YOUR RESPONSE OF FEEDBACK-
ok so I think I get what you mean, your approach is correct speeed, its just that you're arm is so slow? maybe you dont have enough muscles. try doing some push-ups and weight lifting. When you hit, try bringing your elbow really far back and make sure your elbow is up high above your ear, swing with ALL of your strengh. here's an exercise-
find a wall, now hit the volleyball into the ground but it has to hit the wall. Then when it hits the wall, it shouldn't hit the floor... it should come right back at you. Then when it comes back at you, hit it down into the floor again, then from the floor to the wall... the wall to you, then repeat.

yeah, just like the other advicenator said... you cant really tell if she likes you. I mean, if she looks at you ALOT for a LONG time, then that could mean something. To get her to like you, take it 1 step at a time. First when you see her look at you, smile at her. Maybe go up to her and start up a conversation. Then gradually start flirting and become her friend. Then go with the flow.

Your parents are there to help you and protect you. Talk to them! Don't be scared to tell them this. So many kids have problems and they are so scared to ask or talk to their parents, but then sooner or later they have no idea what to do and they go crazy, so they go to their parents and maybe break down crying. So my advice to you is, talk to your parents! They're there to help you. Talk to them, they wont think you're mental. If you want, you can go to a phycaistrist.
