When there's a sale in store's how do you caculate how many percent off are in clothes? for example, $30 top and it's 25% off?

make 25% into a decimal so ..


$30 x .25 = $7.50

then you subract that from your original amount of money

$30 - $7.50 = $22.50

why is it bad to wear make up at a young age (kids)? Is it something with their skin? What age can you wear make-up?

When you wax does like (un-noticely) some of your skin is damaged or ripped so it's better off shaving?

it's not technically bad just for young kids to wear make up for their skin -it's basically bad for everybody's skin if you don't take care of it. most people think that it's bad for young aged kids to wear makeup because makeup is made for teenagers and women. 4th graders don't usually wear eyeliner and lipstick to school -it just looks weird. as you get older it's just more appropriate to wear makeup than if you were 9.

wax doesn't technically rip or damage your skin -sometimes it can if the wax is too hot or too cold, or if you have an allegic reaction to that certain wax. wax is better because you don't have to do it as often as shaving because you're pulling out the hair but when you shave, you're just basically cutting it. you're not better off shaving or waxing -it's a personal decision and you can do whatever you want to! :]

I don't think it's a type of slang - I looked it up on www.urbandictionary.com and it did't come up- and they have basically any slang word you can think of. I'm guessing that it's an inside joke -you're probably best of asking him yourself what it means.

How do you know if you have had an orgasim or not? My boyfriend had fingered me before, and it has felt great but I don't know when I have an orgasim or not. She probably won't ask how you broke your hymen. You could have done it while putting a tampon in, riding your bike, or even running. She might be able to tell if you had sex, and she'll probably ask you considering she's your gyno, but I'm guessing that if your hymen is broken or not, it won't make a difference because you don't have to be sexually active to break it.

my brother is 15 yrs old and still likes Spongebob! is there any possible reason for this and how can i get him to stop watching this show? i know that sounds mean, but seriously..

Haha don't worry about it. I'm 15 and I know some people who still watch spongebob -it's fine! It's not like they're 'nerdy' or whatever. Every morning I watch Hey Arnold when I get ready for school. Hahaha .. it's okay though, nothing to sweat. He'll probably grow out of it eventually, but he isn't the only one that still watches it.

It's very possible I am snowboarding this weekend. I've gone skiing before, only twice, but I picked it up pretty well. Not skiing black diamonds yet, but I'm doing decently well on the intermediate slopes. I heard it was easier to learn how to ski before snowboarding so I hope that's true? But I think I will be getting a lesson from an instructor at the mountain for snowboarding... I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for someone who is new to this? Thanks!

It's really tough at first, but by the second day of me snowboarding I was able to get down the hill just falling a few times. Honestly, you're gonna fall - a lot. My tip is to always get back up. Don't give up, because once you get the hang of it it's so much easier. The first time down a hill I thought I was gonna die and it took me like 45 minutes to get down it haha. Basically just try to stay on an edge or else you'll most likely fall down. WEAR A HAT! I didn't once and yep, I regretted it.
