You could try coloring it. You could try curling it.

Your hair would look really cute if you tried scrunching it or curling it! Maybe even moving your part over a little but more and getting side swept bangs. That'd look super cute -but your hair definately isn't lifeless. :]

You're hair is not lifeless! It has nice layers to give it volume. Try adding more to that volume like by using some volumizing moose are gel, or wavying & volumizing gel. I wouldn't straighten it because if you consider this lifeless and boring it will be flat, lifeless, and boring if you do so.
