How did Evanescence get their name and what are the names of the people who are in evanescence (besides amy lee of course) and what part do they play?

Amy Lee (vocals, piano), John LeCompt (guitar), Terry Balsamo (guitar), Will Boyd (bass) and Rocky Gray (drums). The meaning of evanescence means to disappear like water. But, i remember seeing an interview or something where they wanted a good catchy name and they were looking through a dictionary and somebody said evanescence and then amy fell in love with the same.
