alright i'm 15 - and i've been dating my boyfriend for almost a year now. i'm still a virgin, and plan on keeping it that way until i am ATLEAST out of highschool. anyways, we haven't had sex, but he HAS fingered me. and i've bled before -- maybe because he was being aggressive, but maybe because he popped my cherry. i was just wondering if i were to go to the gyno, whenever i decide to go, if it would look like i wasn't a virgin anymore because my hymen could in fact be broken. like, would he/she be able to tell that i haven't had sex? or would it look like i have?
charmed3fanatic answered Tuesday February 20 2007, 11:13 am: not at all because i broke my hymen when i was five (so excited) and so you don't only break it from having sex =] as far as they can tell all they know is that your broke your hymen they know better than to think you had sex =] [ charmed3fanatic's advice column | Ask charmed3fanatic A Question ]
orphans answered Monday February 19 2007, 9:36 pm: No, you can't discover a person had sex before only if she is pregnant or admits it. Your hymen could be broken, but there are more solutions to that than having sex. If you have tampons, that will need to break so it can insert. I worried about this too. Relax! There is nothing to worry about. You will not be a virgin only if a penis was inserted into your vagina, that is what I've read millions of times. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
leLovely answered Monday February 19 2007, 8:11 pm: She probably won't ask how you broke your hymen. You could have done it while putting a tampon in, riding your bike, or even running. She might be able to tell if you had sex, and she'll probably ask you considering she's your gyno, but I'm guessing that if your hymen is broken or not, it won't make a difference because you don't have to be sexually active to break it. FiaBean answered Monday February 19 2007, 8:08 pm: I think that they know whether you had sex or not. And if not who care's if the doctor thinks you had sex with a guy. I mean if it comes to a point where the doctor tells your mom or dad that he thinks you may have had sex, and you say you haven't. Tell him/her that a tampon must of did it if you don't feel comfortable saying that your bf fingered you. [ FiaBean's advice column | Ask FiaBean A Question ]
mxpimpette26 answered Monday February 19 2007, 7:14 pm: they know the diff. most girls get there "cherry popped" if they are athletic...but a doctor can tell if a female has had sex or not. unles your haveing girl problems or you have had sex there is no reason to go to the gyno. untill your 18.
also if your "cherry" wasn't popped he could have posible scraced your on the inside witch would cause a lil bleeding but nothing to worry about. you should be fine. [ mxpimpette26's advice column | Ask mxpimpette26 A Question ]
ImFakingHotPink answered Monday February 19 2007, 6:24 pm: She can tell because usually women who are virgins have a sort of wall and it gets broken when you have sex. The bleeding can be because of a scratch but it's very unlikley that it was from his finger (unles his finger is very, very long.) [ ImFakingHotPink's advice column | Ask ImFakingHotPink A Question ]
MAK answered Monday February 19 2007, 6:24 pm: it is impossible to tell if you had sex. (unless you are of course pregnant)
you don't need to worry: you can break your hymen by using tampons, running, swimming, etc, and a large percent of women have their hymens broken even though they have never had sex. most likely the gyno will assume that you had yours broken from doing one of those things.
