My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time
I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that
and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes
especially with parent child relationships
I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age
and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)
My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

Hey! 14/f/california w/ "Mild" Cerebral Palsy in Both legs.
So, I really want to get into a sport,preferably a team. I am not in a wheelchair i can walk and run(pretty well). I would rather not be on a team for disabled people, but that might be might be kind of cool, i guess. I already horseback ride and i have been my whole life.
I was thinking about archery, because i have done that before in PE. But is that done on a team? So i Guess i am just looking for segestions on team sports that i could do that dont invole to much running.
Also, i am going to be a freshman this coming year an it would be nice to be on a school team but if not thats alright.

What about softball? there was a girl in my sisters league for a first time who had cerebral palsy and couldnt even stand up on her own but they basicallly sat her down on the pitchers mound and let her catch ground balls (of course this was slowpitch)
but softball is alot less running than it looks besides some conditioning done off the field. but even if your community has slow or fastpitch re. leagues that would be a good oppertunity. school team might not be a good idea just yet beacuse conditioning off the field can sometimes be tough but I'm sure your coach will understand
I would say there at atleast 3 positions that require little to know movement at all that would be perfect and easy (pitcher(in slow unless you wanna take fast pitch lessons), catcher and first base)
I've been playing softball since i was 5 and it is a very addictive sport that i hope yuo can grow to love
also you could look in to riffle. all i know about the sport is you shoot a gun to hit a target but i think you might even be laying down for that?

usually not. if you get like a special bonus edition it might not but neither of mine did
does the pad come with ddr for ps2?
nope.. it comes seperate is is sometimes hard to find but they usually sell them at places that have alot of ddr games like toys r us
i saw a girl said yes before.. well i have had ddr for years and love it alot and i am always looking for new games and i have never seen them together. when i got my mat it game with a demo game that showed you how to play but not the acual game
On July 25th my mom and my step dad will be leaving for iraq for a year and a half. My dad and my step mom are now going thru a divorce. My dad is moving us from waterford to clarkston. My dad had 2 kids with my mom, me and my brother. he also has to kids with my step mom, my younger sister and brother. Now he has to pay child support along with bills, house payments and gas money. This forces him to go back to his old job where he has gotten 3 surgerys in the past 2 years because of it. i have the option of west bloomfield or clarkston schools bcuz i can go under either adress depending on what i choose. Im just not sure were i should go. I know it would be so much easier if i went to clarkston and im VERY sick of my friends trying to guilt me into going to wst bloomfield. plus ill only be going to clarkston for two years, ill be ack with my friends in 11th and 12th grade. SO i gues im saying, what do you think i should do, what would be easier? I really would appreciate if you guys could help me.
well i dont know either one but i would go with the more challenging and better school. because is the end friends and distance arent everything its the kind of education you will get. also this is probally very hard on your father will all he has to do know and i would see what he would prefer because if yuo make his like 10x easier by going to one maybe thats what you should choose
I think that I might have gotten Chlamydia because I basically have all the signs but I'm so scared to go to the doctor because I will have to tell my parents and not only will i be embarrassed I'll get in trouble..i have no idea what to do please help
i would go to a place like planned parenthood. they can give you free std testing along with meds and wont tell your parents or anyone else

well i would say cell because it would be weird you know if your dad answers it or someone in your house that you dont want to here the convo or whatever. but its really your choice. either way their isnt anything wrong with it
Hey everybody! I'm 14/f. Well, I have a fear of dogs. It's just that when they get close to me I'm so afraid and start to take off. Once when I was a young kid, my next-door neighbor's dog Kiki was chasing after me and I literally thought that it was going to kill me. I don't want to be afraid of dogs because I think they are the cutest things ever, especially puppies. Does anyone have any advice on how I can overcome my fear of dogs...I would really appreciate it! Thanks.
i think the only way to break the fear is to go around a dog.. especially one that is older and might know you so therefor it wont really be interested in you. you have to be careful though which dogs you go around because every dogs natural instinct is to run up and jump and sniff you because you are new to them and they want to "befriend" you. i would say start out with just a neighbors dog that you can see everyday and ask if you can walk the dog etc. and eventually youll gain the dogs trust just like they gain yours
also maybe get a puppy
at the age people get most puppys the sleep about 24/7 and as you love that dog you grow with it and wont fear it because you've loved it for so long. like when i got my puppy last may i would say she either slept or went to the bathroom.. she was even to lazy to get up and eat.. but now shes a nut who i would have never gotten if she was like that at first. but ive grown to love her and not fear her barking and aggresiveness she sometimes shows
I'm 13 years old and I'm about 5'4. I once heard that if you're 5 feet tall, your supossed to weigh 100 pounds, and for every inch after that, it's another 5 pounds. Well, that would mean that I'm suposed to weigh about 120 pounds, but i only weigh 95. Does this mean I'm 25 pounds UNDERweight? It seems that if I gained 25 pounds, I'd be looking near obese. I don't feel or look underweight. Am I?
I dont think thats realistic at all. beacause some people at 5 foot are bigger boned naturally or have more muscle than others although most people at 5 foot are about 100 pounds. I wouldnt think you are under weight at all though. like about a year ago i went to the doctor and i was 5' 1/2" feet and about 115 pounds and she said i was in a better percentile then 6 monthes before when i was about 5 pounds less and i was in a better percent tile then as well compared to now when im 5'1 1/2" and about 110 pounds.
weight usually deals with age just as much as height. being 13 you most likely just ended a growth spurt so you arent going to be as heavy as you will be when you are my age (16)

i have to get a tetanus shot in a couple days to go to mexico. ive heard a lot of things that it really hurts. im 16, how bad does it hurt?
i would say that one is the worst. the needle itself is really small but it burns
like it feels like you are getting stung by a bee then its sore for a day or two.
i would recommend if you dont like getting shots maybe rub that area in icy hot before or bring some tylonol with you
i was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to make henna tattoos stay on your skin longer or not fade. i am going on vacation to the beach and i want to get one but i dont want it to fade beore i come home. ive had one before and they always fade soon. does anyone have any tricks? thanks

it really depends on the person. for most people its 1500-2500
ive been told anything lower than 1500 is extremely unhealthy unless your really tiny i guess because you are basically starving your body and it doesnt help with weight loss it just puts you in less shape
also cutting calories doesnt help because it makes your body have to readjust and acually gain weight

(I forgot what kind it was because the logo thing faded I had it for so long lol) k so I was wondering what kind I should get that works good. that is my hair straightener and i was wondering if those are ceramic plates and why is it important for straighteners to have ceramic plates?
Most conairs do have ceramic plates (they do less damage) but i would say DONT GO WITH CONAIR! sorry but i had one and it was the worst straighter ever and trust me im not the first to say that. it never fully straightened my wavy hair and it left it very frizzy after like 5 mins

thats a great price but i would say there is a catch and to be careful. because alone my slim ps2 cost like $250 then most games are atleast $50 each and even used it seems a little weird
I wear black eyeliner right now. But i was watching The Tyra Show and she said that White eyeliner makes your eyes stand out more. If Thats True Does it look good.

it depends. i like to wear black on the top and bottom then white eye liner kinda like shadow. it really depends on your skin color and what not. white would make your eyes stand out more but it doesnt look as natural
Ok,I'm 13(gal)and i babysit 2 boys 3 times a week for about 4 hrs. There 1-1/2 & 6 yrs. old the 6 yr.old will NOT listen, i tell him not to do something and he still does it. Every time i have a problem i tell the dad when he gets home,but he never does anything.I have been babysitting for around 3 years and I've never run into this problem before. I'm thinking about starting a discipline plan.If he acts up i will tell him to go to his room,if he doesn't do that I'll tell him were not going outside that day etc.(i say what i mean and mean what i say).Then if it still doesn't work after a few days I'll tell his mom i cant babysit him anymore.I just cant handle him.I just need to know if other babysitters like me think this sounds good. thanks.
well the room is a bad idea for a time out place. i learned that on supernanny because that is the one place they should feel secure and no punished.. like their own places
i would make just a time out spot and start taking away privledges like video games and desserts until he listens and get him involved in things he likes so he doesnt have time to be bad.
there is a little boy i babysit and he is also pretty bad. the only thing you can do is not let him see that you are cracking.. alls he is doing is testing you. and you have to be strong to get through it
i would guess he is just getting bored. maybe you can try baking or something that takes a while and will keep him entertained. like get cookie cutters and everything
either way i would tell his mon because moms are more sentive about that than dads
also becareful if you take away like outdoor play time because he might act up more.
here is what i would do
if he is bad
make him sit in the chair by the steps or whatever for 5 mins without getting up then before he gets up and must say sorry (and acually say it not say are you sorry) then let him have his privilage back (outdoor time desserts etc)
also if you cant handle it anymore what i do is because there are 3 of them and i usually dont have time to attend to him the whole time i let him go as long as he isnt harming anything or himself.

it really depends on how well the dog is kept, its family background and what not. most little dogs live anywhere from 8-12 years but i've known dogs that have been as old as 18.
