I really need to start taking my own advice.

Hey,
So two days ago, I started going out with this guy. He's seriously the sweetest guy I've ever met in my life. Oh and one small detail: He was my best friend before we started going out.
But now he's really shy around me. He won't say hi to me in the halls and doesn't make eye contact. When it's just us on the phone, he has trouble saying how he feels. This is his first relationship, and I don't know how to talk to him about how he feels since he can't say his feelings directly. What do you think?

Since he's more of the shy type, you're gona have to step your game up. I've been through this problem a dozen times, heres what helps me.

Just make yourself talk to him, start out with "Hey, how are you?" then just talk to him like you used to talk to him. Once you get things flowing, he should realize things aren't totally different and he should relax around you.

Also, you're gona have to make the first move, such as hugging him goodbye. This will let him know that you are really into him and you want things to be comfortable and relaxed.

This may take time, give him atleast a week before you bring it up if you want to talk to him about it. If you do decide to talk to him, say "Hey, whats happened? We barely talk and I really miss that, is there something wrong" Don't start to blame him and make him feel pressured.

What is the best way to flert with a guy. I am pretty sure that he likes me, but not 100%

Flirt.*

Flirting is a skill, some people are born with it, some people have to work to get it.

When you're with him, smile at him, look into his eyes, and giggle when he says something funny. Walk with him in the halls, touch his arm when something may surprise you or something he said was really funny. Hug him goodbye if you wish. Also, if you're more of the brave sort, you can tell him he's a cutie, that should get your point across. Always be positive around him!

im gna re do my bangs.. but i wanted a little change.

i want my bangs to look the same but my cowlick is weird! should i stay with that or cut my bangs to where the cowlick doesnt show.

When I want to change my bangs, I either part my hair a different way or I try this:

I take the hair straightner and clamp it at the roots of the bangs. Pull up and quickly twist your wrist and glide the straightener down your bangs. This will curl the roots up a bit, giving them a more fashionable look.

If you decide to get them done at a salon, make sure it's exactly what you want. Bangs take a while to grow back, you don't want to be stuck with a horrible hair cut!

ok first of all ia m a freshman in highschool and there is a guy who is a junior he always sits at my table with me and my friends at lunch and during part of his free period he comes to my class with me and sits next to me. i just think of him as a friend and when i think of him as more than that it just freaks me out. please help me.

You could try giving him a sign to let him know your not interested. Such as:

-Talk to him about your crush, this may give him the sign that he's not the one.

-Tell him you're so glad you two are GOOD friends and he's like a brother to you. Guys usually understand what that means.

If he continues, maybe hang out with someone else for a bit. Don't completley ignore him, just temporarily.

Sometimes guys say that simply because they're scared, or truly, don't want to ruin anything. Its possible he thinks of you more as a sister, rather then a girlfriend.

It is very likley he liked you in the past.
If you want things to heat up, you can go with the jealousy scheme by letting him see you flirt with other guys, or talk to him about other guys.

OR.

Just start flirting with him. However, if he's totally not interested, don't push it. That could lead to big problems.

I have been getting A LOT of discharge latly like i will be standing there and i will feel it drop into my underwear. its white and clearish so its not infected. I have never been fingered, and i dont maturbate. I have had my period for almost a year now. um i hope thats enough information. so why?

Totally normal, no worries.
There is nothing wrong with you, it should slow down as your years of puberty fade.

This also may be a warning sign that your monthly period is on its way again, so be ready,

For right now, stick with a liner to take care of it.

My brother has it :)
I love using it, however when he first bought it, the sound didn't work, but he took it back and had it replaced the same day.

I'd totally recommend it, its easy to use, and I think its cute.

Not a "bad" idea, but it might be uncomfortable.
I prefer tampons, just be cause I can be positive they won't move, leaving room for an accident.

I have forehead acne and also on my chin and I've tried everythingggg. I want to try Nature's Cure. Has anyone used this or know if it works? Also how fast does it work? If there are any alternatives anyone knows about then that works too as long as it isn't proactiv because they doesn't work either. thank youu

My brother used Nature's Cure and he loved it. It cleared him up in about 2-4 weeks, but the key is, you gota keep using it.

I read the columnist's advice [below me] I, myself used AcneFree and I hated it. My skin, which normally doesn't have any bad reaction, got very dried up, super super itchy, flaky, and I could go outside for almost three weeks because I would burn almost instantly. On top of all that, my face didn't look a bit clearer.

Alrite so I'm 15/f.
Theres this boy that really likes me and I sort of like him. He has the pretiest blue eyes ever and everyone is saying that I should give him a chance.

I'm going to college with my boyfriend soon.The on campus housing is a house with four bedrooms[one for each student] a kitchen,den and two bathrooms. Is it wrong of me to want a different house from him?I mean I love him, but I don't think we are ready for that..

No, its not wrong at all.
I know from personal experience that
I can't handle living with my close friends for much more then a few days. You're just feeling nervous, and you might actually be saving the relationship.

If you two did get a room together, fights and bickering might occur, leading to bigger problems.

I suggest getting a house with some girlfriends for the first semester or year. Then next year, possibly look into sharing a house if you two are still together.

Is there any way to whiten your teeth while you have braces? Is there a certain kind of whitener that I should use?

I talked to my orthodonist about this:
-He said do not use whitestrips or gel while you have braces as this may weaken or damage the brackets and wires due to chemicals in the bleah.

However, you can brush your teeth with a mix of baking soda and water once a week to brighten a smile. Also, I use Aquafresh Extreme Clean, I love it, it totally whitens my mouth =D

I basically had no clue what to put this question under, but here it is.

I'm 14 years old & I've been drunk 3 times.
I'm not a bad drunk at all.
I'm a person who's wound up pretty tight & I use alchohol to do things I don't even think about doing unless I'm drunk. Not that it's bad I just don't have the guts to do anything.
I guess I'm asking if this is a bad thing.
I mean, am I like, sinning or anything?
I'm not that religious but I'm still nervous.
I only drink around family, I wouldn't think of doing it around anyone else.
And if it is bad... how can I stop?
I don't really even like alcohol, I like the effect.

Last friday night, Friday September 29, 2006.
This girl, Casey, used to be my best friend, she's 13, she went to our high school's football game and brought alcohol. She and her other friend got so drunk, I had to go get her mom. She was taken away in an ambulance, the cops told me she had thirty minutes left to live if me and my friend Sarah hadn't of told her mom in time.

So you`re probably thinking "well I don't get drunk like that" Well, neither did she. She's been drunk before, but off of Lemonade and alcohol and she never took it serious, until the night she was predicted to die in less time then it takes to watch an epsidoe of SpongeBob. She just happened to get caught up in the idea and took the alcohol too far. You'll never know what will happen to you.

Think about it; it's bad.
Drinking has caused so many more people that love and care about to be so severly hurt. I cried almost three days straight because I had to see the girl I called my Best friend almost dead, with her eyes rolled back into her head, and a cop holding her neck cause she couldn`t handle it herself. You NEVER want to experience what we had to go thru, if you do, you deserve to have that kind of punishment.

I recommend a counseler.
She's working on that now, already
she's completley changed her life around.

im very young and scared.
I had sex one time with a condom, and then another time i got close to having sex [like we did it for 3 seconds] without a condom and he didnt cum in me, one day i woke up with a stomach ache but i didnt throw up.
And lately i think i gained like a pound or two.
Im really scared but how would I know for sure if I am or not without seeing someone?and by the way , i only got my period 2 times in about a year and a half, so i wouldnt consider myself having my period.

Sounds like your just paranoid.
If your "so young" and your that worried about being pregnant you shouldn't be out having sex. Its something special, not something to just run around and do.
