My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

There is this guy who really likes me he even sent one of his best friends to ask me out but i haven't even seen him. then my older sister and my younger cousin went to tell him to come over and talk to me. so he did and he is really nice and even cute. and we went for a walk around the block to talk and he grabed my hand and pulled me close to him and he kissed me. i wasn't offended and sorta liked it but i'm not ready for a boyfriend and i dont know what to tell him what should i do?

Tell him that you want to just hang out and get to know each other. I'm sure he isn't going to jump to that step right away and ask you to be his girlfriend. Tell him that you like spending time with him and that you just want to keep hanging out and talking. He'll like that and when you're ready, then move on to a bigger step.

When you wash your face with soap and water, what soap? Like a bar of soap??

My face is super sensitive and can go red form anything..

I usually wash my face with a face wash like Olay or Neutrogena. If you want to use a bar soap, Dove works really good. It's made for sensitive skin and it gives you a fresh, clean feelings.

What does hot stuff do to your face? like on commerical these girl's like put their face over steaming water and stuff. Does it really do good for your acne?

The steam minimized the pors and cleans your face better. It doesn't completley get rid of your acne, but just the pors.

alright well i was goin out with the guy joe. we started haven problems..like we started fighting like everyday..it started getting better too. this one day i went to hang out with some friends and this one girl beth told me that joe cheated on me with this girl yvonne. beth and yvonne are best friends so i imediatley thought it was true and i broke up with joe. later that night, he came to hang out where i was at. my friends questioned him but he was drunk and he couldnt come up with answers. i went home and cried myself to sleep. i didnt know what else i could do. then the next day he messaged me and denyed everything.i went to my friend annes house and we were on his myspace and we seen a bulletin from this girl kelley that was thanking beth for helping her out. kelley always had a thing for joe. so i thought maybe beth and kelley made up a plan to break me and joe up that way kelley could get with him. in the bulletin it said that she had a guy right where she wanted him and she stole him from a girl. well then me and yvonne were good. everything was okay.. joe just didnt really want to talk to me. so again i started crying. well then later that night we seen a friend up at a gas station and she told us that it was true about joe and yvonne. that joe was drunk that night. and that yvonne told her. i imediately called joe crying and cussing at him. he still denyed it. the thing is yvonne always had a thing for joe, so she might of made it up to see if we broke up. now she denys it ever happened to my face. but people are telling me they told her. i dont think i would believe her cause she had sex with a kid 2 years older than her..willingly and she told everyone he raped her at the party.. but a person at the party said that she was willingly she just felt bad cause she cheated on her boyfriend. joe still denyes it ever happened and i keep talken to him but he says he has to think about getting back together with me. a part of me thinks their trying to cover it up. but i dont know. i cant eat. i cant sleep. i feel sick. im weak. i think i might be pregnant.. even though i still have my periods regularly. a girl i know has her periods regularly and shes pregnant. i have almost all the signs of pregnancy. im so confused i dont know what to think or do. im gettin a pregnancy test but im on my period. should i wait till after my period or should i take one while im on and another after im off? im really in love with joe. and he always told me how he loved me and there was no one else for him. hes one of those really good guys that dont cheat and are cute but not hott and is sensative and understanding and everything. hes a nice guy. i keep crying when i think about him..

You must be going through a rough time and I can see why you're so upset. It's kinf of hard to tell who's telling the truth and who to belive. Yvonnes best friend told you that it was true and when you questioned Joe, he didn't respond right away. Although you love Joe, don't cry over him. Be strong about it and don't show him that you're weak. If he has to "think" about getting back together with you, he was never good enough for you to begin with and you shouldn't wait for him. He doesn't deserve you and if he did cheat on you, he's pathetic. The truth will come out eventually, but just give it time. Don't take sides for now but then again, be careful on who you trust. They could be covering it up but that's something that you don't know.


Most girls who have their periods, aren't pregnant and it's very rare that it happens. Take the pregnancy test as soon as possible and if it turns out that it's positive, turn to help right away. I wish you the best of luck with everything.

I just go into a fight with my friend thanks to her ex boyfriend to make long story short I start highschool tomarrow and well I really don't want to deal with her drama I'm scared about starting highschool because there's drama all around and there is a lot of people I don't get along with and whom ill be facing tomarrow what do I do??? I'm so nervous I really don't know what to do I've tried everything I just don't know anymore.

Friends fight and argue and I'm sure you'll make up. Highschool isn't as scary and dramatic and people make it to be. Just because you guys aren't currently friends, does not mean you won't meet new people and make other friends. Don't worry about those people that you don't get along with. One thing you should know is not to start pointless drama. Girls can be bitchy and you shouldn't put up with the drama. People in highschool are so over that. Don't be nervous about your first day. You'll be fine and you're going to make new friends. Good luck!

I haven't went to a wedding in years and frankly, peeing in a dress is not one of my specialties. Can anyone give me some great tips?

Haha, I know what you mean. Make sure you pull your dress all the way up and then pee. After you wipe or whatever, lol, pull it down. You can also scrunch it all together and hold it towards the side.

i have a very red face so i NEED to wear foundation ivwe tried cover girl, revlon, and maybeleen.the problem is i sweat like crazy, so is there ne sweat or waterproof foundation that might work for me??

The only foundation that I know that would help your problem is Bear Minerals. I use it and it doesn't come off. You can even swim or sleep in it. Unlike other liquid foundations, it'd come off. Bear Minerals are expensive though but I think it's the money. Another one I'd suggest is Loreal Natruale. It's also a powder type foundation and I'm sure you've seen it. It's cheaper and doesn't dry up your skin and I'm sure it'd take care of your sweating problem.

When you wax your upper lip, would it grow back really dark if you only did it once?

It wouldn't grow back any darker or thicker than it ever was. It'll grow back normally but make sure you still wax your lip once in a while.

Do you recommend waxing your upper lip?

If you need to remove your upper lip hair, I do recomment waxing. Shaving is a lot worse and waxing completley removoes it. My friend does it and it's totally fine.

i have school tomorrow and i need to wash my bookbag. is it okay to put in in the washing machine. if not how do i hand wash it?

I washed my old backpack in the washer and nothing happened to it. Put it on warm-cold and gentle.

ok. this is what i'm gonna wear tomorrow..

its from macys, and its really cute. its this like purple, that seems to be somewhat in. that darker purple. and then like it dips down low kinda. kinda like a scoop shirt or whateveR? and then its a baby doll top, and it has silver trim, and the sleeves like kinda puff. and then it has threee little silver heart buttons, going down. its really cute. and then i'm just wearing dark jean capris. & then i have these cute little silver bracelets, 3 of them. that im gonna wear.

is that a good first day outfit?

I understand people don't dress up or anything. but i don't wanna look like a slob. i wanna look cute.

okay so school starts tomorrow, and of course i get a huge pimple on the tip of my nose since i always get them there at the worst times. so is there anything i can do to make it less noticable or go away faster?

Try putting toothpaste on your pimple. It won't make it go away, but it will get rid of some of the redness. Wash your face and just cover it up with make up in the morning. It'll go away fast.

okay so like i really like this guy and he just admitted to me that he likes me. it was over a text, and i wrote back "i dont know what to say" and he was like "neither do i" and i asked him "do you think we can talk somewhere?" and he was like "in a few...i can't get out at the moment" and i wrote back "text me when you can" and he hasn't texted me back. its really stupid bc he doesn't want it to ba awkward between us but he still says he lieks me. this is really starting to annoy me because i really like him, but theres like no chance that he wants to talk to me. its kinda getting me really mad. i dont know what to do, what to say to him, if i should call him, its just making me really mad and i need advice like now.

Maybe he's really busy at the moment and has other things to do. It's just for now but ask him if you guys can meet somewhere or talk tomorrow or another time. Don't worry about it too much. He likes you and I'm sure he has a good reason for not talking at the moment. If it still bothers you, call him or text him and see what's going on.

It is kind of weird that your best friend didn't tell you first consedering that best friends tell each other everything. Maybe she just figured you knew about it. You should comfront her about it and ask why she hasn't told you. I'm sure she didn't intend to hurt you.

I've just gotten sde-swept bangs cut, but they'll only stay to the side for a second at a time.

Cute hairstyle :] If you want them to be like that, you should straighten it. After you shower, comb your hair and blow dry it. After that, brush it and put a bobby pin on that side so they will stay. After you're done straightening it, spray hairspray from a distance and they'll stay. Using gel or moose would make your hair hard and crispy so just use a bit of hairspray. It works for me.

This is a curiosity question: Lets say an individual decides he/she no longer wants to go to a doctor that they have gone to in the past (or hasn't gone to that doctor in many years) what does the doctors office do with those files. The files that I am talking about are the ones that the doctor uses in the examining room which has all the patients info

I've swiched doctors before and I'm pretty sure they transfter your information and your previous health records. Otherwise they wouldn't know anything about you.

I think that both of you are acting really immature and that is middle school drama. Why do you care if she's a fake? If she is, oh well. It's none of your buisness and she's just a low life who would do such a thing. Ignore it even though it is highly annoying and pathetic, but it's her life. This whole thing about harrasing and going to jail.. well you're both over reacting. I don't think she cares about anyones opinions and she just wants to do what she feels like. You really had no right to IM her and just ask " Are you fake? " I'm sure you wouldn't want someone doing that to you. So like I said, ignore it and let her be.
